“Yodel, seem to ship to small independent shops that refuse to even try to find your parcel. Screaming about a barcode when you have just been provided with a tracking code. I contacted customer services via LIVE CHAT who was NO help at all and just gave me another code Sunstar store in Winsford refused to enter. It seems to be idiots employing idiots and not capable of doing a job.”
“I paid for a two day delivery, dispatched Tuesday now five days no parcel. Said it would arrive today. Saturday.
So stayed in. All day. Nothing. Shut on Sunday. So will see if it arrives on Monday.
That is awful. It's currently sitting in the van since Friday evening. Tracking tells me.”
“Waste of a time company, my parcel has just been sat in their depot for days haven't even tried to send it for delivery, as for customer service, that's another waste of time.
In short if you order something online ask who they use to deliver if its these get it from somebody else.”

Webchat is a waste of time they don't know what they are doing. Telephone is also a problem because you don't get to talk to a real person.
In the end never got my package which was need for an graduation party and had to rush out to buy another gift.
Never ever again and I tell all friends and family don't deal with any company that uses yodel.”
“Delivery slow but OK. My concern is that you cannot rely on any live chat or telephone messages about delivery dates. I was repeatedly assured by more than one person on the live chat that although the telephone message and website said that the parcel was still in the "local depot" it was "with the driver" and would be delivered that day. I made important arrangements in reliance on their assurances but it did not arrive. I was happy to pick it up from the depot myself to avoid further delay, but was told that this would not be permitted.
This is not the first time I have wasted days of my time messing around with Yodel. If I had realised the seller was using them I would have sourced the item elsewhere.”
“Ordered an expensive item from a seller about a week ago, and they've decided to use Yodel, big mistake. Last Monday on the app they said it will be delivered to me. Nothing came, got told it will be with me on Tuesday, nothing came ect. I went on the site and talked to several employees by live chat and kept being told its at the depot and it will be delivered, Nothing came once again. I went back on chat and I was told the parcel is missing, missing?Yeah missing, it wasn't even scanned, so god knows where that it is or what member of staff has taking it. It doesn't stop there, they make me get in contact with the seller-company instead of them doing it. Now the seller has launched an investigation to find out where my parcel is. Absolutely awful service and company, I'm surprised they haven't been bankrupt yet. To all buyers and sellers please avoid using Yodel. A group of 5 year olds could run and manage that company better then what the current staff do. I don't even want a refund i want what I worked hard for”
“Parcel was not delivered. Reason given was that there was no-one to accept delivery. Untrue! Delivery driver attempted delivery at totally random address, which was confirmed by Yodel after checking their driver tracking. Was told very sorry but nothing they can do and parcel has been returned to sender now. DISGRACEFUL service.”

“If you use Ebay ignore Ebay recommendation that Packlink is premier company to send your parcels it certainly is not. Ebay show on all their pages how Packlink have a better service than Royal Mail they dont. Packlink & Ebay are no cheaper they lose more deliveries than Royal Mail in fact i never have issues with R/M. Plus Packlink are difficult to deal with and Ebay will not help you they will only suggest Resolver. All worthless.”
“Dreadful couriers just dump parcels in lane no attempt to deliver to door. Latest one couldn’t find house despite postcode and what three word reference.
Refuse to deal with suppliers who state they use Yodel unfortunately they often don’t specify.”

Reporting that the item has been delivered when it never was is deceitful and a very bad business practice.
These people should be sacked before your company losses all creditablity that it still has.

“My parcel was due for delivery between 10:47am & 12:47pm today. I was tracking this delivery and when the driver was 1 stop away the message changed to "at the depot". I opened a web chat to be told that the driver attempted to deliver my parcel which was untrue. Apparently they had no way to contact the driver (who would still be less than a mile away at this point) to ask them to redeliver and that I would need to take another day off for them to 'reattempt' tomorrow.
This is not the first time this has happened with Yodel, the delivery service and also customer service is often very poor!
I may also add that this is a large item and therefore can not be left in a safe place etc as needs to be signed for.”
“Received a photo of package on my doorstep and time of delivery. Returned home and parcel had vanished. Live in a gated community with CCtV so was able to check time of delivery - no delivery at the time stated. Contacted Yodel who said my tracking number was incorrect - I stated that it wasn’t as they had apparently delivered the parcel and the photo was the end result of that tracking number. I was told to contact seller for correct tracking. I did and it was correct. Contacted Yodel again who said they would look in to it. Day after supposed delivery a Yodel driver turns up with said package and hands it to me, takes a snap and legs it! All very suspect. All I can think is driver photographed parcel on my step and then took it away with him - doesn’t seem right! No card to say attempted delivery and not left with neighbours who were in.”
“Consistently useless! Not the first time, a problem everytime guaranteed. Marked as delivered as I tracked driver at home, no delivery, no idea where it went, delivery photo (attached) is a blurry mess. Apparently the driver has lied and insisted the parcel was delivered, despite me being at home the whole day. Incompetent company, zero customer support, do not use. Any business using them for delivery will be avoided by me.”

Waited 3 times for delivery, each time given new delivery dates....twice at midday suddenly appeared on app driver is delayed & then nothing. Did a webchat, very helpful at saying all the right things, but again still waiting for my parcel.
First experience at such a shoddy experience & now wait from the seller to see if they can help further escalate this for me.”
“My large item from Debenhams didn’t arrive, tracking said problem with my address and to use live chat. I did this and verified my address…still no delivery three days later. Phoned Yodel and it’s was an automated service with no option for my problem, no human to speak to, just an email service. I never expected Debenhams to use this atrocious company, so now a long haul ahead to get my money back…Just be aware that Debenhams use this courier and if you run into a problem there is no human contact available. I’m done with Debenhams now for this reason.”
