“Competitive quote but would like paper insurance documents to keep in the car. Also don't like automatic renewal. Won't use them again. Too remote. I wonder what would happen if I actually needed to make a claim!”

“There was no way to confirm your selections for my insurance before payment only then did the selections become confirmed and although you'd made an assumption on something that I hadn't offered you proceeded to demand a large fee if I needed to cancel”
“Setting up a new policy is straightforward, however, the document confirmation is extremely confusing to say the least. If you’ve added extras like Legal, hire car etc, the confirmation letters are poorly written and lack customer information to ensure confidence, consistency and transparency! Could do a lot better.”
“I wasn't impressed as was already a customer and my renewal was due. I was quoted double the amount to last year and obviously shopped around for a better price. On a price comparison site I found yoga were offering me a quote for almost the same as I was already paying for exactly the same cover. So I had to cancel the auto renew and then reapply for new deal. What a lot of hassle when as an existing customer they could have just offered me that price in the first place. Made me angry at how easily people can be ripped off . Not good yoga!”
“Whilst your prices are certainly competitive it is impossible to talk to anyone in your company. I recently wanted to change a vehicle on my insurance, instead of telling me that i should get a quote for my new car and once accepted to cancel the existing one you charged me over £40 for "changing vehicle". Customer service leaves a lot to be desired. Also takes ages to get an email for a forgotten password.”
“Seeing that Yoga asked for a review the day after purchase, here's my experience so far. The integration with the compare websites worked like clockwork, my no claims and driving licence verified automatically and the purchase proces straightforward with my documents arriving in about 5 mins after my policy started - great 5* start!
Day two of my policy and my car still shows as uninsured on the motor insurance database. Why does it take up to 7 days to update when other insurers are updating it multiple times a day? Whilst I am legally insured, I'm likely to be pulled over by police and will be at their mercy/risk of seizure/and a whole load of inconvenience until Yoga update MID in what should be an easy IT integration (especially compared to the complexity of quoting/purchase/policy creation process which works great). It also prevents customers from taxing their cars online.”
“It took quite a long time to get on to a live chat. When I did I requested a paper copy of my policy documents, but was repeatedly told that it is ideally no longer company company policy. After making the request for the 3rd or 4th time I was finally told by the operator that they would action my request - 6 days later I am still waiting for it to arrive! Had I fully understood the fact that Yoga are a fully online platform, with no access to a person on the end of a phone I wouldn't have purchased my policy. But for the fact that there is also a heavy penalty for cancelling, even within the 14 day cooling off period, I would also be inclined to cancel.”
“Took out car insurance. Only had it for 18 hours. Policy hadn’t even started. Thought there was a 14 cooling off period. Changed me £49.99 to cancel it. Rip off.”
“You sent me my documents in PDF via email and was able to print them off. Then I was provided with a username and a link to your website. There is nowhere on this page to create a password, disappointed with this, as it should be an easy process.”
“Everything is fine and I'm happy With the service. I'm just not happy that my insurance has doubled in price. I've made no claims and not needed to use my insurance all last year and when it's come to renewal my insurance had been doubled. If it doubles again next year I will most likely have to go with another insurer.”
“When making an adjustment to my policy, adding a personal registration no. I was charged £20.00 twice. Could have been my mistake but I found It impossible to contact Yoga to arrange a refund.
There was no option to cover my query and no way of talking to them. I did leave details through the web contact but they have never been back to me.
I even rang the underwriter who denied any association with Yoga!
I spent a couple of hours trying to make contact to no avail. Extremely frustrating.
I appreciate the company is web based but there should be a telephone no. as a default setting. Websites are not always perfect!
I will be hesitant about using them next time.”
