“Cheapest Quote not necessarily the best.
Took out this policy which met my needs and also the cheapest on the comparison site.
However, when checking policy details I realised my additional drivers were no added to the policy. When I contacted Yoga chat line I was advised that I hadn’t requested additional drivers and had to do a new quote. There was then an additional £96 charge. When I requested to cancel the policy I was told that there was a £49.99 cancellation charge ( already taken from my account ) even though policy only taken out two days previously and not due to come into effect for another 19 days.

“I filled in all information required, including my 17 years old learner very happy so far, a middle range quote..till I checked and thank God I did as I would of found had the police or a 3rd party been involved that he wasn't included.

“All I am trying to do is get a quote to add a named driver on my policy. You really make it hard. Spoke to you bot, then allegedly a customer advice online, emailed you after finding an email after a lot of searching - no response. I will never go with you again no matter how cheap your quote is. DO NOT USE.”

“I was a customer until June 2023. My renewal never reached me as BT made it impossible to continue using my @btconnect email address. Having received no reminder, I only checked recently, by which time any renewal Yoga issued had lapsed. It is impossible to reactivate the account or policy, and it is impossible to speak to anyone at Yoga Insurance to gain advice as the only phone number available is a claims line, which is outsourced anyway. Hence, there is no customer service whatsoever. The chatbot was utterly useless - one of the worst I have seen. The attitude to customer service is neatly summed up by this review, whose first questions to me are all about the delivery of a parcel.
I eventually prevailed with Yoga by completing a wholly new proposal via uswitch, where Yoga came out one of the cheapest and I felt it was best to renew quickly as my insurance had expired, and I had already spent several hours trying to work out what to do.
I have yet to read the policy documents, which are voluminous, so I don't yet know whether there are any 'gotchas' that will invalidate any claim. I hope to complete this task tomorrow.”
“Difficult to navigate your cancellation of policy on website. My premium increased from £24 per month to £94 per month. How can you justify that?????

“Trying to log in but I've forgotten my password, requested a new log in password over two hours ago and still received nothing. Went onto the apparently live chat, which is not live its just automated. I clicked on cancel policy as this is what I want to do and the advice given is to log onto portal. I can't as I need an updated password. No other options available, no one to talk to.”

“I had no renewal notice , and only knew when email arrived saying thank you for renewing which I did not authorise as I told by email not needed , now being threatened with debt collectors !!! For £50 this is really bad never had this before they make money causing people like me terrible stress for something I did not even know they did , im 64 and seriously I'll could do with out this”
“I too have had problems cancelling my car insurance, I cannot get through to anyone by phone, email, or on line. My renewal date was 7th September but I definitely don’t want to renew it. It was very competitive last year but far too much quoted for this year.”

It is due for renewal on 21st September and I categorically do not wish to renew.
I have requested an email to reset my password a dozen times and nothing comes through to my email account and before someone there says check your junk mail - I have.

“I literally secured a quote accepted it then when I realized the extra charges which I had not originally noticed I cancelled it. The policy was due to start on 15/9/23 I had it for 1 hour then I was charged £49.99. I will be more wary in the future what a rip off!”
“As I tried to amend mu previous review but could not I am writing again. I am angry that there was a £52 upfront charge plus if I want to cancel it costs over £40! I'm strongly considering it even though my insurance doesn't start until the end of the month.”
“Char,ging 20 quid for an amendment to a policy is a total rip off. However, the ultimate rip-off is charging 50 quid to cancel during the cooling off period. "Managed online" means "You can't contact us to complain or to obtain any help".
Shame on you, Yoga. The name is misleading: you're not so much contortionists as con-artists.”
