As I tried to amend mu previous review but could not I am writing again. I am angry that there was a £52 upfront charge plus if I want to cancel it costs over £40! I'm strongly considering it even though my insurance doesn't start until the end of the month.

Char, ging 20 quid for an amendment to a policy is a total rip off. However, the ultimate rip-off is charging 50 quid to cancel during the cooling off period. "Managed online" means "You can't contact us to complain or to obtain any help". Shame on you, Yoga. The name is misleading: you're not so much contortionists as con-artists.

I feel i have been mislead by Yoga insurance. I purchased breakdown insurance and then noted that if breakdown occurred i would be towed 10 miles and then charged £3 per mile. Had i known this i would not have taken insurance. Also noted one call insurance is named in documentation. You cannot phone one call everything is online

Purchased car insurance with a starting date of 10 days later but cancelled as current insurer gave me a better deal. Disappointed to be told in an online chat that I would still be charged £49.99 even though it was only an hour since my 'purchase' and told quite bluntly and in no uncertain terms that it's clearly stated in the T's & C's. This of course is quite correct and is part of Yoga's policies but I feel a little discretion could have/should have been used especially as my payment was still 'pending' and the start day was days away. Buyer beware!

Cancellation fees are excessive, even with the 14 day cooling off period.

Cancellation process useless, informed did not wish to renew on members portal, policy still got renewed anyway now want me to pay £50 to cancel, cannot speak to anyone says no way of contact, probably so people give up and pay the cancellation fee.

The online form to input your driving licence only recognises those with number, number, letter, letter at the end I.e. 99PP. If like me you have P9PP you are screwed

Made a mistake by allowing car insurance to renew. Can't talk to anyone and website impossible to navigate to be able to cancel. Left sending messages into the ether with no reply as yet and no return of money taken.

Generally bad experience - the customer portal is not intuitive; web chat is unbranded / hosted on a 3rd party site and looks like a phishing scam; I made a mistake while entering my bank details on sign up and got a rather aggressive "Your policy has been cancelled" email with no explanation. I get that Yoga is a business, so they're primary concern is to take your money - but it's at the expense of good UX and customer service. Not impressed.

Insurance cancelled within hours of organizing. No email or telephone number contact! I am a pensioner and cannot deal with everything online. I wanted the insurance policy sent by post which it stated could be done in the portal. Spent several hours trying to find where this could be found.....nowhere obvious! They charged £50.00 to cancel after causing much stress and anxiety which I can't afford !!!!!!! Very expensive and stressful mistake be warned!

I am on automatic renewal for my car insurance that I didn’t want. I no longer have the car. And money is being taken out of my bank account today. There seems no way to stop this. No way of communicating. Live chat sends me to my policies but I can’t see how to cancel. I want it cancelled now and no money taken out.

Their live chat software is the most bug ridden and faulty pile of dog shyte I have ever used. Their assistants, if you can get through to one of them, are not worthy of the name. All I want to do is change the date of my direct debit since they didn't set it up for the date I initially requested, and I've wasted three hours trying to talk to someone about it. If their customer service at this level is so shocking, I dread to think how bad it's going to be if I need to do something complex like make a claim.

Wanted to add my son for one month while he is staying with us. Unable to talk to anyone so had to add him for the rest of the policy, eleven months, costing more.

I insured my car with Yoga Insure by mistake thinking that my renewal date was coming up. As there is a 14 day cooling off period I thought I would receive a full refund. However a £50 admin fee was deducted, I do not think the fee is in any way proportionate to the minimal amount of admin work (if any) tjat was required. I cancelled the insurance within 24 hours after realising my error, it was all processed online, no phonecalls at all. Maybe an admin fee of £20 maximum was justified, but £50 is extremely unreasonable in my view.

The system is difficult to use.. unfortunately it wasn’t until I had got the policy (a week before it was due to start) that I realised the mistake of not adding business insurance.. I added it at a cost of £20, which I paid by card.. when I looked at the policy it had not changed.. I contacted online help and was told it would be an additional £88 to add it.. this made the total more than any of the other companies.. I asked to cancel it and have my deposit repaid to be told that it will cost £49.99 to cancel it.. it hasn’t even started.. doesn’t start for another 5 days! Unable to face a hit of losing £49.99 feel forced into having a policy that’s £6 per month more expensive than any of the other companies.

The renewal cost &7 ludicrous excess payment was ridiculously excessive, especially considering I have not made any claims. I have found a good alternative insurer for less than half the price and a fraction of the excess. You are rip-off merchants! It s also outrageous that you took payment in advance of my policy end date, thereby obliging me to pay an cancellation admin fee for a policy I don't want. You should be ashamed of your prices and practices.

I’ve just taken out this policy for second year wish I hadn’t poor customer support no phone number to call when you need something and I’ve just tried to add a very trusted friend to my insurance and it’s declined without any explanation. Dreadful I need this as I’m going into hospital. Wouldn’t choose this company again
