I’ve ordered a half a dozen times through this company. I have seen the negative reviews which inspired me to write of my experience. I’ve purchased Dynafit binding parts, soccer cleats and many bike parts thru tradeinn over the last few years. They always provide tracking but the link never works. However if I message them they have always reply quickly with the tracking number which does work every time when entered manually. I’ve always received everything I have ordered. I’m in Canada. It gets here faster than any of the large UK online bike parts dealers: usually 2 weeks max. I recently had an issue with a pair of hydraulic brake levers. It was a warranty issue and the manufacturer agreed it was warranty but the product had to be returned to the retailer who would then send in for warranty. I had used them for 6 months. I dreaded this, but had no choice. I contacted tradeinn (bikeinn) and they responded within 48 hours advising they would send me a prepaid waybill for DHL and that they would then send the product to the manufacturer. I packed the levers and sent them off. They sent me an email about 10 days later comfirming receipt and advised not to contact them as they would have no info, but they would work with manufacturer and get back to me. 4 weeks passed and nothing. So I did contact tradeinn, stating that it was unusual for this particular brand to be anything but expedient and accommodating with warranty so I should have grounds to inquire on status at that point. They actually replied within about a day and said they would try and find out. I figured I’d hear nothing back and contacted my credit card company to commence a claim but had them put it on hold as I would give the retailer several more weeks to come thru out of goodwill. It was tedious but tradeinn had, thus far, done everything they said they would. Tradeinn sent me an email within 48 hours of the former email to advise that they were sorry and would be refunding my purchase. They said funds would show against my cc within a few days. 3 days later the refund was there. Fine by me. I don’t know. Not great. But certainly pretty good for a huge online retailer of just about anything sporting goods related and pretty deep lines for all products.
