Terrible communication. Customers should not have to babysit your services. ASAP 2-3 hours doesn't mean show up nearly 6 hours later . Stay in contact with customers, update them frequently if you're delayed for any reason - otherwise you look disinterested and unprofessional.

I did not receive much of the service stated on the website. I was told that the battery would be delivered in 2 hours, and it did not arrive until 3 hours. I was expecting to get info tracking the delivery. None was provided. The old battery was to have been tested prior to replacement. It was not tested. The service technician was not a company employee. He was an employee of another company subcontracted by 800 Battery. Would not recommend this company.

THE only issue I had was the person who answered the call, did not speak clear nor give precise instructions as to what will be done

After two attempts and need inconveniencing a friend to drive me round trip to where my car was stranded, the THIRD attempt and waiting for over three hours between 8am-and after 11am, a tech finally arrived. Between all the appointments and cancellations, I spent over 12 HOURS on getting a battery replaced. A battery that cost significantly more than if I would have gone into a local battery store. I became so skeptical and suspicious about this company that I double checked this company on google to make sure I hadn’t been scammed. It was a very nerve racking experience.

I spoke with Al initially. He was helpful. An appointment was set up for 10:00 - 11:00 the next morning. The install tech said he was running late and would make it as soon as possible.. After some time I called and he said he has been dispatched to other appointments "the other appointments have been waiting" . He advised me to go home and wait for his call. I received a call to meet him "he was on his way". When he showed up, he presented two batteries that were too small to effectively start the diesel. He insisted these batteries were "ok". I know the correct battery and this was not it. He called in his manager told him to install the incorrect battery. Wasted day. I checked in with Al, he said a refund would be processed. As of now I have not received a refund.

1-800-battery promised an 8 AM to 10 AM window. It’s 10:35 AM now and their installer has yet to arrive. Annoying

My first battery died soon after I got it. The company charged me full price for the second battery and has yet to reverse it, even though it was covered under warranty. They also showed up five hours late.

Really bad experience with this company. Kept promising that the technician would show up after three days and I was just about to cancel the whole transaction. And told the representative that I was pisssed about being jerked around for three days and they finally sent someone at 8PM on a Sunday night. Never again. If you advertise that your company serves Sarasota FL then why did the guy have to drive an hour to get to me. Because you don’t have anybody actually in Sarasota. So I was lied to from the beginning. Bad way too do business.

Tech arrived after dark and had difficulty finding the tools to do the job. He seemed distracted and had difficulty removing old battery and installing new one. He did not connect the positive cable correctly and when driven to the deanship for service it was noted that this was draining the charge on the new battery.

Technician arrived 3.5 hours after appointment window. Noticed they were sent out with the wrong battery and had to go to a local store to purchase the correct one while I waited. Returned with a lesser quality batter with significantly fewer CCAs than the one I had ordered, and then left me to deal with customer support to get a partial refund for a battery that will likely not hold up to the cold environment I live in. Very unhappy.

Told them I had an alternator problem and needed a tow truck. Sent out a battery charger instead to no avail (predicted). The responder was very nice and understood the situation and apologized. The dispatcher didn't care. And the fee noted ($75) eventually became $81 due to "mileage". Not a good initial experience.

Poor communication. Took 2 days to replace my battery. Tech was super professional , but the experience wasn’t good. I could have towed my car and had it replaced by a reputable shop. Finally installed at 10 pm at night .

I ordered a battery from 1-800-Battery of Olney on Saturday the 5th of March. I picked an installation date of the following Monday, March 7th between 2 and 4 PM. On Saturday, March 5th, the day I ordered the battery, an unmarked car backed into our driveway and said he was there to put in the battery. I said we were eating dinner and he would have to come back at my appointment time the following Monday. On Monday, the same person came back to do the installation. I asked for documentation and the warranty for the battery. He said it would be emailed to me from 1-800 Battery of Olney. I called the company the next day and said my email order was all I was getting and that I could claim a warranty just by using the order number. I don't see how this could be the case since nowhere on the emails does it say Die Hard Platinum or any serial number or item number. I would not use !-800 Battery again.

Don't be fooled by the website! The battery you think you are ordering may not be the one that the technician brings. I thought I was buying a Die Hard $220 battery. They tried to install an Exide $119 battery. I called the 800 number for help and was told that they don't guarantee the battery brand. Be aware of that!

The appointment was 4-6 pm on Friday March 4th. 4:55pm, "1-800-Battery is on the way and should arrive in about 2 hours. Track your driver here: https://onf.lt/a82e9e0e8f" 4:59pm, missed call from 1800battery 5:10pm, I called back 1800battery. no agent available 7:28pm tracking links showing "service completed" I did not see anyone 7:30pm, I called 1800battery. office closed. Certainly I am not happy with the experience. I emailed info and was informed that Ricky the techinician arrived service location and made a phone call. I did not pick up thus, the service was cancelled. This process could be improved. I asked for refund.
