I signed up online with a promise by the website of three hours for delivery and installation of a battery for a 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit. That was at 1:30 PM on 12/5/22. At 5:30 PM on 12/5/22 I called customer service because the delivery did not happen. The service agent told me that the assigned technician was out sick and would not deliver the battery that day. I agreed to a 10 AM delivery on 12/6/22. At 11:00 AM on 12/6/22 I called customer service yet again to report that the tech had not yet arrived. The agent told me that the tech was in the field and had my name on his customer list. Sherman Williams arrived at my house at 1:45 PM. Oh, BTW the first customer service agent said I would receive a discount from the agreed upon price. No evidence of a discount has been received.

I paid extra for your services as it said it was quick and service would be performed between a window of 2-4 pm. I never heard from you guys and had to call several times to find out the driver was delayed till approximately 5 pm. I missed an event and had to take an Uber to another event. They originally told me battery change would take approximately 20 minutes as when he arrived at 5pm (late) my car wasn't finished until 7pm. I asked for a refund and they said they had to ask management and I still haven't heard back from you guys. Very bad experience.

Well I started out making you phone call just to get an estimate on what it was going to cost for three batteries for a 1997 RV they put me down on a schedule as of Wednesday the 25th I think it was or 26 well they were going to be here by noon no show no call I waited a couple hours I called both times I called that day they said they could not get a hold of them electrician or the mechanic whatever it was so then that day went by then I called the next day and they said well it's a holiday and they won't be able to get into the warehouse till Monday so I get a call from the guy on Sunday saying he will be here Monday that he's got to go to the warehouse at 7:00 in the morning and pick up the batteries and he would be at my house by from 9:00 to 11:00 well by 11:00 no show so I made a call they couldn't get a hold of the kid again so after I put in my complaint about charging my account before I even received the batteries at all they said at 4:00 they were having somebody come out so the guy comes out takes the batteries out of my RV put some in the back of his truck which I wasn't aware that he was taking my batteries that were in my RV and putting new ones in that he was allowed to take them or he said I was going to get charged $22 for each battery if you couldn't take it what I don't understand is I wasn't told anything about taking the batteries then if I would have said there's no batteries in the at all he would have had nothing to take so I didn't see why he had to take those batteries The interstate battery still worked because it run the vehicle we drove the vehicle we moved the vehicle so I knew that the interstate battery was still fine but the other two probably weren't cuz the lights in that in the inside were not working so the guy puts them in turns it on test it left the front hood down and then left with an attitude like I came all the way here to do this it took me an hour to get the batteries at the AutoZone and I'm taking up my time away from my family cuz I was called at 4:00 at the last minute to do this so he had a little bit of an attitude what made me mad is they took the money out of the account before I even had the batteries in my RV and then they said they were going to give me a $15 discount because of all the problems I went through we're $15 didn't do nothing and that's considered a third party that came so where are those batteries going to go that was taken out of my RV I was very disappointed on the communication no I wasn't contacted at all that somebody wasn't showing up or they were running late or nothing I continued to make the calls after 5:00 the office is closed so I couldn't really get through to get any information on what was really going on and because of the holiday afterwards I couldn't get anybody and then one of the guys text me and told me he was going to be at my house on Sunday and I said what are you talking about you're doing it Monday he goes oops I had the wrong phone number I said okay then he text me coming and said he'd be there in 17 minutes then he text me again and said I'll be there in 25 minutes so I called him personally and asked him what are you doing what are you saying he says will it took me a whole hour to have to go to AutoZone to replace and buy the batteries that fit the RV I said AutoZone I didn't know that they carried them so I'm going to call AutoZone and ask him how much the batteries are I want to find out how much with me being charged two or three hundred for each battery and the bill was 900 something I want to find out how much these batteries really cost I'm just saying the business and the communication was lousy so I hope these batteries last two years so I don't have to recall and get a replacement because the problems I had just trying to get the batteries in and then you charge my account before I even receive them is not a very good business thank you

The service was great. The service person showed up on time, quickly assessed the problem with the old battery and exchanged it for the new one in just a few minutes. The problem I have is that I ordered and paid for the top end DieHard battery, but a Duralast battery, which seems far less expensive than the DieHard online, was installed instead, but I was still charged the price for the DieHard. I will actively discourage other people from using your company for this reason.

I purchased a Platinum battery from them, paid $400 for the battery and installation. The installer came late, but was friendly, and that’s the reason I’m giving 2 stars rather than 1 star. He installed a GOLD battery instead of a platinum battery. I told him this is a good battery and he said this is provided by the corporate and I have to contact them. I contacted them and as you can expect, they said we give you whatever brand and model we want and you purchased platinum, so what?! Get the gold and be happy about it and as a customer you can’t do anything about it. Someone should file a class action against them.

I gave two stars because the service arrived several hours late. The ETA would be useful if used honestly. The service provider only did the minimum and rushed me. I paid well over $300 for a battery that I'm not familiar with. I got no paper work, guarantee or anything else. I'm not very pleased with this serivce.

Paid for a Battery with delivery & installation, never showed up at scheduled time (1-3 pm). Called to see what was going on, was told to wait 2 more hours. They never showed up again. Now calling to set another Delivery Time for tomorrow...fingers crossed.

ETA was listed as 2 hours. Tech didn't arrive for 2 days, after multiple calls and promises that he was "on the way". Once he finally got here the installation was very quick and everything works fine.

I was promised and scheduled same day service to replace a dead car battery. However, after confirming the appointment, I was called (from a Personal cellphone, not a company phone number) and and told that the service would not happen until the next day. Unacceptable! Then, trying to cancel the order proved very difficult. I am unimportant.

UNRELIABLE. I paid for service and scheduled service. Nobody showed up. Nobody called to say they weren't coming. I called, nobody answered. I entered the chat, nobody responded. Apparently, nobody is on duty after 7:00 pm CST, but the automated phone attendant doesn't say that, it say please hold, someone will be right with you. Likewise, the automated chat attendant doesn't say that it's unattended after hours, it says somebody will be right with you. Showing up the next day with apologies for being "late" isn't good enough. Also, when I was contacted by "Reviews.io" and indicated a negative review would be forthcoming, it gave me no opportunity to list a number of stars, and it was fairly obvious that the review would not be posted. I therefore posted this review directly.

Made an appointment from 1p-3p. The technician did not text me until 305p, saying he was on his way. When I went in to see what the status was for the length of time it showed 23 minutes. At 340p I sent a text asking if he was coming. The response was YES. He showed up at 405p. He never apologized or made me feel as though my waiting for him mattered. He completed the battery replacement and was gone around 420p. If a new battery is needed in my 2nd car, I will find another company to replace it.

First of all your installer, Masood did a great job (5stars) I have called your company several times with no response via text or e-mail. All I wanted was some sort of invoice or bill of sale. ANSWER YOUR FRICKIN PHONES FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I do not recommend this company

The technician was amazing! The customer service and trying to reach someone from 1800 Battery was terrible. I started to think this was a fraudulent website and contacted my bank to dispute the charge. Just because of the stress of trying to reach someone and not getting a response; I will not be using this service again. I attempted to call (then used the texting option), and live chat. All three mediums of communication went unanswered.

First day was a no show with no communication. Second day I had to call to confirm anyone would show up. Was assured I’d hear something with in an hour. Two hrs later I got a text they were 4 min away. So with hardly any notice I finally got battery installed. I expected some credit/discount for inconvenience but didn’t receive anything. Will not use/recommend 1-800

Never showed up on the day of service. Technician went home for the day and I was never notified. They promised the technician would arrive at 8am the next morning and he was almost an hour late. Also very overpriced.

I probably would not use 1800B again. The battery showed up 3 and a half hours after the order. The battery showed up and was the wrong size. The tech had to go get the proper size and it took an extra hour. And it cost me $60 to get the tech in and out of the paid long term parking lot because they didn’t communicate properly with office to bring the proper battery in the first place.

Technician not very knowledgeable. Said it was my starter that was bad. With further investigation and expense it turned out to be the battery all along.

I called in last Tuesday to order a new hybrid and 12v battery for my mom's Prius V. I was told that they would order the hybrid battery and it should arrive within a day or two. They even scheduled an installation on Friday. Weirdly enough a technician called me on Thursday telling me they would be available to install the battery that day. I was surprised that they were able to get it done sooner than scheduled. However, it turned out that they had the 12v battery in stock so they came by to install that but not the hybrid battery. I called 1800battery to find out what was going on with the hybrid battery install. Turns out that the order was "still being processed" and that it would come at earliest on Monday. I called in today (Monday) and was informed that that they just received a tracking number today and the battery would be arriving this coming Friday. Hopefully there won't be any further delays. I just wish they did a better job communicating install times with their customers so they can know when to reasonably expect services to be completed. Also, if they run into any delays they should do a better job communicating those to their customers. If I didn't call in I would not have received any updates and expected them to arrive at their originally scheduled time. Kind of disappointed at the moment, but if the installation goes well and the battery performs it is still a better economical option than going to get it done at the dealership. Fingers crossed.

When the technician arrived, he was efficient, friendly, capable and fast. Unfortunately, he arrived nearly two and a half hours after my "window": I was told he would be there by 8:18 a.m. and he arrived after 11:35 a.m. Before he arrived, I spent a long time on hold on my cell phone - which I could not charge because my car battery was dead - trying to get confirmation that he was actually on his way, since he was so late. If your original email had said to expect him after 11 a.m., I would not have been sitting in a hot car on asphalt for all those extra hours. I would have gladly shown up at around the time I should have actually expected him...and would not have dealt with illness caused by heat exposure. It is far better to underpromise and overdeliver, than to overpromise and underdeliver when your entire business is based on helping people who are stranded with a dead car.
