“DHL, well where do I start. I took a day off work as I had to sign for my delivery.... it never came. It was friday so I had to wait until monday to contact anyone. Monday comes.... another day off work... I contact dhl and their live chat "staff" called Pedro, promised he set priority on my delivery..... guess what.... never came.
I also got an email from customer service, and this is beyond belief.
Firstly its in 3 different fonts. The English is HORRENDOUS, and it states: (bear in mind this is Monday) Your item couldnt be delivered as we are unable to deliver monday, it will be delivered today and you should get your delivery soon.
Ok, it WAS MONDAY!!!

“We are a UK based company in the UK importing pallets from Europe. Supplier arranged shipment with DHL. There is no contact number to discuss with anyone in the UK, only an email enquiry form.
It is impossible to talk to a human being in the UK. Road is closed-change to a nearby delivery point, but impossible to communicate this.
We have been waiting weeks for the delivery too.
Use a small business next time, where they talk to you and they value your business. Sheer contempt from DHL.”
“The tracking number for my package has it at Reagan Airport in DC since March 7, 2022. DHL refuses to declare it lost and therefore the company I ordered it from refuses to refund my money. Everyday I receive the same email from a different DHL employee stating that they will provide a status on my package within 24 hrs. When I call they tell me the same thing. They are the absolute worst shipping company I the planet. I think they are conspiring with Chinese companies to defraud people. I will never willingly purchase from a company that uses DHL as their shipper.”

“I received an email that my package would be delivered by the end of the day. 2 hour later I received new email saying I wasn't home during the delivery... I have been home all day waiting that package to arrive and I didn't get any kind of notice, phone call, text message, knock on the door, anything to telling me they were behind my door!
Because of that I had to reschedule delivery time and cancel all of my plans for that day.”
“Your customer service is the worst service I have ever encountered!! First off we was told our package would be here on March 22!! It was delayed due to weather!!! We didnt have bad weather, but was assured that it would be here the following day, they 23rd. At noon I called to see when it was too arrive. I was told it wasnt arriving, but I could go pick it. I drove 114 miles to be told it wasnt there. But again was guaranteed it would be here on the 24th! We have been lied to so many times. For the last 48 hours, I have called to talk to a supervisor and so has my husband. We was both told they would return our call within 2 hours!!”
“Expected three boxes yesterday. Two were delivered the 3rd is apparently stuck in Cambridge. Live chat doesn't work at all. I'm unable to build the hutch until the run arrives. No updates on why the three boxes were separated.”

That’s why they don’t have an actual customer service number, no I have to traipse around London to some far away shop and carry a wardrobe home, absolute joke of a service, especially when you consider how much you pay!!!! “Horrible experience with DHL, they dropped my package at USPS and then needed me to fix a typo in my address, I updated my address with them over the phone and they have since lost my package. I have called EVERY DAY FOR A WEEK and every person I talked to says they are going to get to the bottom of it and find out where it is and call me back and I haven’t gotten one call back. 0 out of 10 do not recommend DHL!”
“I had sent a document on 12.02.2022 from Germany to India but it has not got delivered yet. Status has not been updated since 22.02.2022. i have called dhl a few times and they tell em the flight to destination has left on 25.02.2022. But today is 10.03.2022. Are they sending letter using ships? No one knows where my documents are. Horrible service.”
“AVOID AT ALL COSTS! This company is nothing like International DHL, they are terrible, cost our small business over £5000 in lost consignments. They often deliver in 2-3 days not 24 hours like advertised. I would hate for anyone else to loose out- use a proper service like DPD instead for your small business”
“The delivery man has obviously dopped the box...which was labeled FRAGILE btw. Items inside were all broken. He didn't even have the guts to leave it to my door (because, of course, it was a box filled with shattered items and you could tell by the sound of it.) The parcel was also unsealed. The worst delivery experience ever. That's why we ordered these fragile items online in the first place - because they were too heavy to carry without breaking them. Well...”
“Terrible service. The item was finally delivered on the 3rd day! I've had previous problems with DHL in the past, when on two occasions my item was delivered to the wrong address. It's a pity we can't choose our courier.”
“Email in the morning, your parcel will be delivered today. Never arrives. Next day same thing, email saying will arrive today, never arrives. You'd think if they failed an urgent delivery one day they'd give it a higher priority the next wouldn't you. Nope. This cycle can go on for days. If it's urgent or important don't use DHL”
“This is a company with a horrible service. They lost my package at the end of December 2021. I filed for claim in January 2022 and until now March 2022, they have not yet given me a firm answer as to where my package is or whether they are going to cover the cost of missing product since I paid for the insurance for lost items. I called the customer service people on different occasions but to no avail. These are the most unhelpful and unfriendly set of people I have ever talked to. Be professional, DHL!”
“This is the worst shipping/delivery company out there. They always send a message saying they « attempted delivery » but never actually try. I literally watch the van pull up in my drive way And back right out. What a joke. They also gave my personal phone number to another unhappy customer who was calling to complaint (so the customer ended up calling me). They do NOT even deserve 1 star…”
