“Very very bad service, sent parcel from UK to Zimbabwe this is the worst ever service it's been four weeks and no one is helping . I want my parcel back”
“Utterly disgusted and irate at the lack of care shown by DHL when delivering my parcel. If I could give zero stars on this review, I would.
On Monday 4/7/22 my parcel ($2500 Coat) was delivered to the wrong address in Potts Point. Some lowlife at the wrong address signed for my coat and stole it!

I have been informed that DHL outsources deliveries to third party couriers. My coat was delivered by a third party courier who obviously didn't check for correct delivery address nor the ID of the receiver!
Zero accountability shown by rude and dismissive DHL Customer Care staff who keep giving me lies and the runaround.
I have been informed that the courier who delivered my parcel only works on Monday. Apparently I have to wait until next Monday 11/7/22 to allow the courier to attempt a retrieval and redelivery - really?!?!!!!!
Failing that, I will be offered reimbursement or replacement from the shipper. I cannot receive a replacement coat as my coat has sold out completely.

“Horrendous customer service. My package was delivered to a service point nearby and I was told I had to have a code to pick it up. I have requested the code multiple times, rang dhl multiple times and all I was told is that another company send the codes so it’s not their problem?? I then asked for the contact details of this other company and was told they did not have them! The lack of communication is appalling. I have emailed them, rang them and messaged them on both twitter and facebook as per their contact information on the website and NOTHING has come of this. I am going to lose my mind if I don’t get this package soon. Absolutely do not recommend, steer as far away from dhl as physically possible if you want any chance of getting your package.”
“I paid to send an urgent letter to Europe using their Express 1-2 Working Days service. I dropped it off at their Service Point and was given a receipt and copy of the Waybill with the Track no. and Delivery Address on it. When I got home I checked the tracking and nothing came up so I left it a couple of days and tried again. Still nothing. Contacted DHL who said the tracking number doesn't exist. This is the tracking number created by their systems. After a week of them blaming everyone else I had to send the letter again and pay again. They are refusing to refund me my money and today 2 weeks after it was originally sent they say they have found it and will send it. Two weeks too late. I want my refund. Beware of this company. Their systems can take your money and give you a fake tracking number and they don't care. BEWARE!”
“Paid upfront for shipping and handling. Once in route they are now charging me for handling fees. These are hidden fees and they won't give me my package until I pay their extra hidden fees of $20.
I am entering my package and customs is charging a tax which I'm okay with. But DHL is charging handling, a hidden cost, that they charge to every package over $100 usd. This is a fee they won't tell you about until you put money down. They they charge more.”
“DHL is the worst delivery service ever. Waited on a delivery and they said the first day they couldn’t find the address but they have delivered here before. They put it off to the next day and they said they had too many packages to deliver mine. Spoke to a manager today that couldn’t seem to understand why I was upset or wouldn’t even let me speak(arrogant). Then she said I didn’t have a text saying the package would be delivered yesterday, when I offered to sent it to her. She further stated that was yesterday sir….I Explained to her that I waited until 9pm and they never showed. Then the nerve of you all to say I’ll get it when your driver doesn’t have too many packages. You all suck….Period.”
“I have bought 2 items recently that DHL have bought to my house and they have refused to give them to me.
I have a long driveway with gates at the end and an intercom. The DHL driver wont hand me the package, claiming that the law requires him to take a picture of the package in front of my open front door. I have refused to allow him to do this and asked him to hand me the package. Both times they have refused and so taken the package away again. What is wrong with this company?”
“All we needed is to ship overnight one piece of signed paper from San Francisco to Las Vegas so we can close escrow. The escrow company said they couldn't get the job done because of some holdup thus delaying the whole closing process another day. Highly disappointed.”

The small package that was of a free item cost me 400GBP extra of unexpected fees. DHL were of NO HELP.
The only customer they care about is their business accounts.

“Have waited all day for package. Called at 2 was told by customer service to expect call back. It’s 5. I called. Well I was told computer says delivery today but that’s just a guesstimate for sure re Tuesday by 9. Excuse me. This is a business here till 5. Oh do you want to reschedule. Worst delivery. Oh also got a email saying I was not here at 4 to receive package. What a load of —it”
“Had 3 deliveries booked with these over 4 months. Not managed to deliver one of them correctly. God knows where they get their drivers from. Delivered one to number 2 complete with photo even tho the delivery address was completely different. Just left one outside and said no one was in even though I'm housebound. 3rd one the driver used a Google map photo of him in the carpark but couldn't get out of the van to deliver it. Next they will be saying we have to put our prices up to cover the cost of the fuel our drivers waste”

“A supplier of mine sent me something from Turkey 9 days ago to The Netherlands.The shipment time took one day to The Netherlands a country that's as small as Delaware.With modern facilities and logistics .
it is now one week later the goods (one envelope) hasn't arrived and DHL didn't even bother to send one communication until today because I told the shipper to contact and push them.Now got my first communication not even a explication sorry we had x delay because of x reason NOTHING ...but wastes worse is I got this notice saying they would come and its nearly 3 pm and guess what DHL hasn't arrived yet and they com to this area only in the mornings.... Thumbs down for this pathetic service....next time by regular express mail which is half of the time half of the cost and comes certified with tracking online.”
“I changed the delivery address to local collection point. My parcel was delivered there and shortly after that, I recieved an email and msg that my parcel is ready for collection. When I went to pick up my items, I brought an ID and proof of address, like they ask me but they refused to give me my parcel because I didn't have code. There was no instruction how to get that code on the email, nothing. I spent hours trying to contact customer service. Nightmare.”
“No point giving them any directions or a three word location because they'll take notice of them. They don't care that you take the day off to receive your delivery. There is no customer service, emails just get ignored. In my case they leave my stuff on the floor out in the open on someones doorstep that I don't even talk to. I now won't buy anything off companies that use them. Terrible service, terrible company, completely useless.”
“My first experience was when they delivered a £2000 PC to the correct numbered house but in the wrong street! Then had the audacity to send me a photo of the number which apparently proved they had delivered it. Luckily I took the time to wander the streets in my general area and found the 96 that they had delivered it to, and the person accepted that I was the recipient.
More recently I paid £8 delivery and they gave me a delivery slot and then after I waited in for them the time slips by over 30 minutes so I called them and the woman I spoke with said it was back at the depot with no reason!!! No card, no explanation. After that call I got an update email stating it will be delivered too late for my purposes on Monday, utterly useless company. I intend to check every time I want to buy with a company if they use DHL and if they do I wont do business with them unless they use a different company.”
“horrible service ! I’m soo glad i didn’t pay for this. The merchant did & she wants her products back that came to me by accident. We’ve been gIven 5 Different dates that DHL was supposed to pick up. To this day the package is still in my living room. No one is on same page. Some say the package was picked up, some say it’s the wrong address, some say the driver is en route to my home. If owners or management is reading this. You shld hang ur head in shame that you have the most disorganized company ever. I don’t know how u are in business but I’m going to keep leaving bad reviews on every site until u pick up this shipment !”
