“God help you if you deal with these people! First red flag should be that they have no telephone number to call in case of an issue! Also, 2 orders I had with them both went horribly wrong! Firstly, an item broken in transit by courier I had to claim for, they need pictures of the damage in order to claim!!! How on earth do you provide that when you sent the parcel that wasn’t broken- you cannot claim without pictures! Also, they claim that couriers who do not arrive, pick up items that never left and do not bother to try to investigate this occurrences! Steer well clear of this company, they literally do not know how to communicate- hence no contact details for them!”
“Dreadful. Do not use. For en entire month they failed to tell us our parcel was held up because it had a prohibited item in it, then when we eventually discovered what had happened, they refused to resolve the issue. 'Customer services' were slow and unhelpful. In the end we had to spend many days on the phone to the actual courier, Parcel Force, which returned the parcel. We will never use them again, and i'd strongly advise anyone else not to.”

“Between Parcel Monkey & DPD Ireland, 12 days for a UK - Eire parcel delivery which is poor, would've been quicker delivering to County Kerry myself. Finally got progress due to tagging both companies on Twitter so social media is progressive.
I did get a 30% postage charge refund right enough for the inconvenience and poor service, some of the staff I communicated with via chat facility and Twitter were co-operative in trying to resolve the issue right enough. Re-use of P.M is a consideration right enough but service will have to improve considerably.”

“Booked parcel with pm parcel force to deliver it. Parcel force had severly damaged the box and the item. PM states they cant give compansation as I didnt pay for extra cover. If item was damaged but box in tact I would take resposabillty for damage but as pictures sent to parcel monkey clearly show the box looked like it had been thrown around. Holes as big as my hand a one edge of box was virtually destroyed. I went on chat and keep getting fobbed off with an apology and please wait for management to contact me. Im waiting and still waiting......... up date have now been blocked from contacting them in any way....told to wait for management to contact me Not wait a minute whilst we block you. AVOID. “DID NOT DELIVER OUR PARCELS AND REFUSED TO HELP OR REFUND
Awful experience. Charged nearly £30 to deliver Important parcels for a research project into Women's health and diabetes at an Oxford hospital.
The parcels were not taken to the correct delivery address provided.
The recipients telephone number provided in case of problems during delivery was not used. The parcels were simply returned to me.
Parcel Monkey then claimed the named recipient had refused delivery. The recipient was eagerly waiting for the parcels and did not see or refuse the delivery.
When I sought the help of Parcel Monkey they refused to help in any way, they refused to redeliver and they refused to refund my payment .
As there is no Parcel Monkey Customer Service you can actually speak with or a telephone contact number I had to raise the issue by 'chat' who were unhelpful. They said they would 'refer it to management' and could provide no time frame for a response and they refused to answer any other questions. When 'The management' response arrived it was simply an email stating that the issue was not their responsibility. No help, no apology, nothing.

The service you paid for is complete and therefore we cannot provide you with a refund"

I've had a couple of instances now where Parcelmonkey's partner in the US (USPS) have made a complete mess of things. On the first occasion, I was charged an additional £15 for not having properly recorded the parcel dimensions. Having measured them several times, I know 100% that the measurements provided were correct. Upon "investigation", I was quoted measurements that were physically impossible for what I was sending and told that the only way of overturning the charge was to provide photographic evidence of the packaging that I had sent to the other side of the world...
I have also had the pleasure of wasting a great deal of time after USPS mismanaged another parcel, lost it in their system before finding and returning it rather than contacting the recipient (whose contact telephone number and address they had). I was expecting compensation, but not a bit of it. Not only are they not compensating me for this failure, but Parcelmonkey are seeking to charge ME to reunite me with a parcel which their partner mismanaged.
Like all poor outfits, there's no one you can speak to. God help you if you have to make contact with their customer service agents by email. Every message is answered by a different agent and while the occasional one seems ok, for the most part you get a saccharine reply that ignores the reason you took the time to write and never delivers a solution. It's not that they're rude, it's more that they can't do enough not to help.
Parcelmonkey needs to make a lot of changes to how they run customer services as at the moment they've done nothing more than create a blueprint for frustration and dissatisfaction”
“Would not recommend this company to anyone. They charged us a lot of money for a delivery that never happened. They broke the material in the process and disposed of our parcel. Despite the fact that we paid extra for insurance on their website, they are now offering a ridiculous compensation that barely covers their delivery fees.”

We sent a parcel very well packaged with fragile tape and they still managed to break it, they get you to take out extra insurance then don't compensate as its in their list of items which they don't guarantee! “Extremely unreliable, booked in on a Friday for a Monday collection. Was told it would be between and 8am and 9am. They never arrived, waited until 7.30pm and then the next day told me I need to reschedule and no apology.”
“On 3 of September I have ordered this company to collect package from UK from LN8 3FH and to deliver to Germany.
After 7 days I have asked them where is my package. The answer was that the package is not collected for unknown reason and they were ready to refund me for the service, but after one day, I have received another answer from them that the package is colleceted but it is not delivered for also anknown reason.
And now, the package is in Parcel Monkey in Southampton and they have asked me to dispose of the item, to collected personaly or to return item to sender or seller.
And they have let me known: "Please be aware that an administration charge of £5.00 applies should you choose for us to despatch your item, and in addition you will be required to pay any returns charges levied by the courier and shipping costs to it's final destination.
And I only want to see my package on destination address in Germany for what I have payed, please! And I have no intention to pay more that I have already payed.”
