“Items ordered online on 26 January 2023. Received confirmation same day from that such items were out for delivery by Evri, arriving on 2 February 2023. Another email received on 28 January stating there was a tracking error but made an assurance that items were despatched from your warehouse and you were working hard to ensure delivery etc. etc. Further email received 30 January stating that Evri was unable to provide a further update to my parcel, however, you, Aldi, would look into it and possibly issue a refund if parcel could not be traced. Subsequently received email on 31 January stating that a refund was being processed to my order!
This is the second time in 4 weeks that this has happened with my orders and I am fed up and disappointed with such ineptitude.
Aldi, please STOP appearing to put the blame on Evri and Yodel for your despatched problems. If you are overwhelmed with orders, do take a look within to discover the source of the problems that you are having dispatching your customers' orders. As a German company you are meant to be SUPER EFFICIENT!!!”
“One of the most obnoxious tills people served me at aldi Truro today at 17:15. He rushed the customer ahead of me through the till by piling my items through while they were still packing, then tried to rush me through next. There appears to be two sections where people are meant to pack right next to each other. I took to pack my items in the clear section so I could take care and sort out the mess he created, whilst my children were going to pack the other side. The tills person then started to ram the items from one aisle to the other, hit the pay button for the card machine to beep incessantly and then storm off. It made the whole process much slower and awful for all who witnessed it. He returned angrily without an apology. I was so flustered I couldn't find my card, and another customer paid for me to get the queue moving prior to me finding it in my coat pocket. The worst and most demeaning customer service I have received anywhere. The two sections are a ridiculous idea for the sanity of customers and staff, and I will make sure to take my time at your business from now on.”

“Basically I got told by the male cashier wearing the bandana in Hessle Hull that Aldi maybe isnt the shop for you.Shopped there every week spending at least 90 pounds havnt been in since cant face it 4 weeks ago .”
“There was a incident at our local aldi store.
I emailed my complaint customer complaints line apologised and stated they would send me a gift card a month later I received it. It was to the value of $100 but there was nothing on it. I was told because it was a high value card & security reasons they would activate it. a week later I check balance.now saying invalid card. Aldi customer service is rotten & complaints line are liar's.They had no intention on honouring there word.”
“Hello, a few months ago Aldi opened a store at 11601 Regency Village Drive, Orlando, FL 32821. Everything is good, except the customer service of one cashier (Jackie), she was very rude, impolite, she throws the food in the shopping car without any care, that happened to me two times, notify the managers regarding this, she should not work with customer service, because what happened to me must happen to many people. I hope they take action on this cashier.
Thank you.”
“When shopping in the Sandhurst store today, I picked a box of champagne flutes reduced to 99p, they were on display with a ticket. When going through the checkout I was told that these can't be sold because they are not on the system, I asked whether they could be scanned as a miscellaneous code and was told that this couldn't happen. A manager was called over and said that HQ instructed that all remaining Christmas stock can't be sold. This is absolutely horrendous customer service, stock should have been removed from the shop floor and I really don't understand why my purchase could not have been honoured, I wrote to the Customer Service team and received an obviously pick a paragraph scripted response with a few paragraphs, the last paragraph included:
Unfortunately the product is no longer available so maybe that is the reason why it cannot be sold anymore maybe they forgot to pull out the item and we are very sorry for this happened and we hope you understand.
In most cases I would have let this go. But we are talking about a 99p glass that Aldi refused to sell, yet it was on display with a price label.”
“Every item of food does not need to be increased in price tho every thing has by now come on Aldi where is the customer loyalty time to give people a break”
“On arriving at Aldi shop in Airdrie checkout I removed my used Aldi carrier bag, which by the way was all crumpled up from my pocket in front of the checkout girl so she could acknowledge I had not purchased it new, obviously an old bag.
When all items were scanned she did not issue me with a receipt as requested before I paid, after payment she asked me twice to touch my bank card again to machine before I finally got my receipt, in total I had to use contactless three times to obtain my receipt which I thought was a bit off.
When I got home I noticed she had charged me 20 pence for a carrier bag that I did not purchase and thought this strange as she did not even scan my own carrier bag.
I would advise anyone shopping at Aldi not to use an Aldi carrier bag, why was this allowed to happen.
Not a lot of money but then again its my money.
.”
“I really love Aldi's there red beets are the best they're cereal is awesome. I buy a lot of they're products and they're very reasonable . Thank you for being there”
“On 15/01/2023, I had excellent customer service at Aldi in Kidbrooke by employee Gian and I would like to share my experience.
I had problems passing my groceries in the self checkout, and the employee Gian gave me all the assistance, with a lot of education, patience and professionalism…
I will summarize the story so the text does not get long.
Some grocery items were not registering automatically, I had 2 boxes of broken eggs (my fault), my credit card Bank It didn't work, I had to go home to get another one, I paid half of the groceries at checkout and the other half at Self-checkout . Bad day for me, but I had full assistance and guidance, it was my luck. 🙂
Before that another situation had happened , when I went to remove 3 packs of 2 liters of water, which were piled up and could fall when removed, the employee Gian was passing by at the time and asked if I needed help, and he removed the packs for me. 🙂
Honestly, it's very difficult to find attentive staff who are ready to help.
But, today for the first time, I had this great experience. I hope Gian has a great future at the Aldi supermarket, because he is a rare person to find.
Thank you so much Gian”
“I bought a ferex inpact Driver on the 30/12/22 it was completely useless does not work it was 2.99 when I complained about it to customer service that they sold rubbish to me knowing it doesn't work when I was advised by customer service to return it and ask for a exchange for one that does work the manager said that he would give me a new one but only if I pay £15 pounds not the £2.99 I was charged originally I rang customer service and was abused by Genna a customer service Aldi person this is nothing but rubbish being sold cheap instead of throwing it in the bin I'm not shopping with Aldi again been ripped off with rubbish goods”
“Purchase a Specially selected free Range whole Chicken. Followed cooking instruction to the letter the chicken was over cooked and dry on the breast and pink at the side of the legs and blue underneath. Only had quart of the beast and the rest was thrown in the bin. Had no choice but to serve it because it was Christmas day was so upset and embarrassed Christmas lunch was ruined. Dont Believe the Hype on Aldi food like i did. I have been going to Sainsbury for my Organic Free Range chicken for 15 years and this has never happend. I will never shop in Aldi again you get what you pay for.”
“I bought Aldi's rack of lamb. as a treat for my husband and myself. We had it tonight and it was horrible. It cost me £14'95 and it was all fat. 4 small loin chops which were thick with fat. I have often cooked rack of lamb at home but never had such little actual meat to eat. Never again will I spend so much money on so little about of edible food.”
“Gluvine - Foul. Pigs in Blankets Quiche - Foul. Unfortunately, times being like they are and such expense in cost of living meaning we have to shop here with such low quality bad tasting produce!”
“Bought 5 pounds of beef from aldis on clyde park n 28th street 2 days ago got it home to separate it and it smelled like straight sewage! I will never buy stuff from yall ever again. Oh and on top of the meat being bad when u buy fruit from them with in 24 hours it goes bad!!! Would love yall to make this right but I highly doubt it!”
“Used them last month. Found them very disappointing. Although they are cheap. Their own brands are extremely low quality and they compromise quality for this. For example. A pack of 4 frozen chicken pies for a very cheap price of about £1.60 must have had 1 cube of chicken in each pie. Chicken is very cheap meat. Having literally pastry mash and pease for supper made my blood boil that day. I will never buy their own brands again. Stick to big labels if I use them again. Which are a touch cheaper than other supermarkets.”
