Upon pre-ordering an item a month before its release I've been told the day before release that I will not be recieving said item on the day of release because I hadn't payed for delivery. Then apon complaint was not offered any sort of help. Amazon really do appear to be money grabbers with no concern of customer loyalty

This is the first and last time I order textbooks on student amazon. I paid for prime shipping and placed an order for almost $400 worth of books. Next day waited around for the order and nothing showed up after calling them and speaking to an extremely rude supervisor named Berna I found out they cancelled my order for suspected fraud because it was my first time ordering and the large amount of the order, but I was never notified. Now after reinstating my account and replacing the same order I paid for express shipping again and still have not received my package. Its now been a week, 7 phone calls, and two emails and still no package. There wasn't even an explanation as to why I wasn't contacted when my account was suspected fraudulent, the supervisor only offered me a $10 credit which wouldn't even cover shipping cost, and I've still yet to get any reply from my emails that I've sent. Its tempting cause their cheap but do yourselves a favor students and don't get your textbooks through amazon. The amount of time wasted and the frustration of dealing with there customer service staff isn't worth the trouble. Now I'm massively behind on my studies and still have NOT received my textbooks.

Received gift card. Numbers on back were not all legible. Amazon said unless i had receipts they would not honor their gift card. Leaves a bad taste that I have been a great customer for many years and they pull a cheap gift card scam on me. Very dissapointed.

I do not want to even discuss this experience and I am done with AMAZON as a Econmmerce site. I will never even be interested in buying through AMAZON and that is final. There are many site and including many Indian Site who can sell and service their customer better. In fact I place order with Ebay and got my stuff within 2 days flat. Who need AMAZON anymore. I thought AMAZON is amazing because in USA I had some very good experience. They have killed that also. Pls train those asshole looking after TWITTER replies and make them more educated.

My 4 month old Amazon Kindle Paperwhite goes to USB mode when charging, which means that I cannot use the device Plus, I have to reboot the Kindle to get it out of the USB mode. Did all of Amazon's tech support rep's suggestion but none of them resolved the problem. Plus the rep implied that I was responsible for this defective product. I had to insist that I receive a new Kindle; the rep didn't offer that as an option. I am supposed to go to the UPS store, purchase appropriate packaging to send my Kindle back to Amazon before they send me a replacement Kindle. I won't be getting a new Kindle but a "refurbished one," and they didn't guarantee that I would get the same generation Paperwhite.. My biggest complaint was that Amazon never offered to replace my Kindle and blamed me for their faulty product. I had to insist on it. Poor customer service. Amazon doesn't stand behind its Kindle.

It is clear #Amazon do not train any of their customer service people in any thing but trying to get you off the phone as soon as possible. I have had multiple experiences of lost or wrong items being sent only to be lied to about what action thier customer service team was going to do to put it right. Take my advice, go to a shop. It's easier.

My complaint is specifically about Amazon marketplace. I bought an iPhone 5 case from MUZE Store I thought it was a genuine case. It was a cheap imitation. I wanted to give it back but there seller didn't give me an address or any guidance it send it back. Amazon also didn't help. The seller contacted me after the 14 days cooling of period say he can't not accept it.

I've been using Amazon since 1999 and these days I was doing most of my shopping except for food and clothes through them. I put that in past tense because they are no longer my shop of choice. I used to put in around 3 orders each week with around 500 items each year. From DVDs, music, book, electrical, pet supplies you name it. Over the years I've been quite happy with the service but in the last 2 years that has started to go downhill. First in 2013 they started doing their own cheap delivery service which hasn't been brilliant. No longer a guaranteed next day delivery, often lost and to make things even worse you are left in the lurch not knowing if something is on the way or not. This last 2 weeks I've had 4 orders go missing or damaged and not delivered. I had a worrying order a few months ago where the item they delivered (a graphics card) was not the item in the box. The box was correct but the item inside was not. It was only when my son expressed disappointment that the card was not that fast I looked into it and discovered the problem. Of Amazon apologised and refunded me but I had no explanation as to how this happened and no assurances this wouldn't happen again. Another annoyance is that I use their "Prime" service (since 2007) only for next day deliveries and this was put up by nearly £30 last year as they merged it with their video services (which I'm not interested in - I'll wait until it comes out on Sky). I couldn't see the logic in this, next day delivery and video - what's the connection. I have complained to them on numerous occasions but it's like banging your head against a wall. They're polite and seem to care but they don't really read your emails and mostly send canned replies. All in all it's a shame as I have liked them in the past but they seem to become greedy and and are putting profits before quality of service now.

wont be using amazon again on the 30th sept 15 i ordered 4 dvds /teenage mutant ninja turtles £5 / dumb and dumber to £4.99 / dead rising watch tower £4.99 / kingsman £6.99 = £21.97 and they sent me an email saying on the 3rd oct 15 it is out for delivery then a few hours later i checked the amazon tracking site and it said delivered and handed to recipient. i contacted amazon and asked whats going on and said im in 24/7 as im disabled and i have an ip camera out front to so not like i would not of seen it. they said please wait 24 hours as the courier could of just said was delivered as they do that sometimes wow really even though on my account says handed to recipient. so i decided to go to a house around the corner 17 cleeve drive as my address is 17 woodview drive so the courier has in the past been lazy and post men and put my stuff through there door as a courier did it last year with a drinks order and it said delivered and signed for by shaw and i knew that name so i asked and they said yes and he brought the opened box down even though it was tracked he thought i would come get my property. but anyways i went round no answer and lights off so they're out. and what i catch a glimpse of on the porch hardly hidden from a pacing slab put on its side like a barrier. a amazon dvd shaped packing and i took photos as proof and the address and looked and said my name and address on so yes the couriers are bad and crap they put it in the wrong address. so i headed home with my property and pics of proof and got back a hold of amazon to let them know about it they tried to replace them i said no i have them now i said time and time again can i have an email address to send these pics to you so you can use them against the courier they said ive escalated it with out logistics department and they'll investigate it. i asked again she goes its ok we trust our customers she said you can keep the pics. i said yeah but i went through the hassle of going and taking them she said for the hassle ive issued you a £5 voucher on your account great like im going to use it. that will get lost to.

I was loving Amazon for their quick deliveries and large selection of items and quality of product UNTIL I logged onto my bank account and seen that Amazon.com had charged my account 99.00 for something called Amazon Prime (which I NEVER signed up for or gave permission for them to bill my credit card). I instantly called and had them refund my money and I also had them delete both Amazon and Amazon Prime. I will NEVER purchase another thing from Amazon. They lost my trust.

I've had trouble with my kindle fire. Amazon gave me instructions it didn't help. Talking with tech for 45 minutes didn't fix it either. He said " I'm giving your problem to a designer and we'll get back to you in 24-72 hours. It's been a week ans no return call. Time to go to the Apple store.

Amazon has always been great, used my own credit cards and bank cards. I closed most of my accounts and applied for an Amazon store card thinking it was directly from them. No it's not. it's from a loan shark second rate bank that is as close to loan sharking you can get. How is this legal? They make their own system failures and make it impossible to make your payments on time. Then hit your credit in a second, charge you a late fee and jack your rates. CROOKS!!! Amazon should be ashamed, do you not read the blogs about these folks on your own site? Losing trust in the fact you use companies like this, worried about doing business here all together.

Amazon Prime needs to get out of the video business. They offered Inside Amy Schumer for free for Prime members and then turned around and sold it to Hulu a short time later. Amateur move.

Since June 3, 2015, I have talked to six Amazon customer service reps regarding one of their updates crashing my KF and rendering it non-working. Each conversation required me to detail that the update immediately preceded the crash. Each time, they said they'd get back to me. My last call was on 6/6 and I am still awaiting a call back from "Jenny" who promised a resolution call the next day (6/7). Amazon has grown too big to care about individual customers. They don't need me or my business any longer.
