“This dash cam wasnt expensive and on offer at £15.99 but it's a really poor and cheap piece of Chinese rubbish that is so bad that the mount won't even successfully stay on the windscreen. I wish I hadn't bothered and gone to eBay instead.”

“Added a postage surcharge of £7.50 AFTER payment was taken without any prior notification. Called to complain and was told a refund would be issued but needed a further phone call days later before this was made. Customer services come across as indifferent and were not interested at all as to the severity of adding charges without informing the customer which is a breach of trading standards. Overall: Good prices but just hope you don't ever need to deal with customer services”

“The incorrect address was on the package so it wasn't delivered to the correct address and had to make 15 mile round trip to collect the parcel from the depot as you could not speak to a human being just an automated telephone number Once the package was opened the Road Angel device wasn't sealed and the quick instruction pamphlet was missing along with the dash mount. the items were just rolling round the bottom of the box, and not even mount in the presentation box... there was no protection for the product inside. So all-in-all pretty poor all round, and additional cost and time to go collect my item form the depot.”

“I had vary good service the parcel was well done , The speakers I have not fitted yet but they are going in my Limo a 1988 Cadillac this will make a good set up with my Alpine head unit and amp so I am looking forward to setting it all up . Many thanks”

“i have to say from the moment i rang them with a question to when i actually called back to order i felt like a loyal customer ... the way it was dealt with was brilliant it's just a shame they closed the manchester branch .. would highly recommend them. (not fitted the speaker yet as putting new carpet in first).”

“Most helpful assistant but it took over an hour to progress my order due to computer difficulties relating to Road Angel. The Gem plus arrived without the start-up instructions in the box. A copy has been promised but not yet received. As an upgrade customer, who had just paid his annual subscription on a Road Angel Professional, I faced further time on the phone trying to get a resolution. Again the assistant found a solution but it was not easy for him. I have yet to try the device in my car and fear that I may find it is not correctly registered, in which case there will be further phone calls. I hope not.”

“An Excellent service, I ordered Alpine SPR-60 speakers for my car, they arrive on the day they said they would and were well packaged . They were in the sale so i got them at a good price, they really transforms the sound coming from the original sound system unit, and the sound coming from the cheap original car speakers. I definitely recommend Car Audio Centre and thank them for a fast and efficient service.”

“Poor service and no communication. Ordered 3 items with one day delivery and only 2 showed up. Phoned to enquire where my other item is and was told it was out of stock (which it isn't according to the site) and would be delivered to me early the following week. By the Thursday I was annoyed as I still had no communication regarding my missing item so I phoned again. I was told the item was getting shipped to me that day from the manufacturer and would definitely arrive on the Friday. It is now Saturday afternoon, the phone line is closed for the weekend and the person who answered my email says that I should phone. If the company had bothered to talk to me rather than me having to phone them this review might be more positive. If they had out of stock on their website then it would be an improvement. If they acknowledged that the item had not been delivered rather than been lumped in with the rest of the items which are marked as dispatched on my online account then I may have been more favourable. As it is then I cannot recommend Car Audio Centre.”

“Terrible customer service. I placed an order with express delivery. On the day it was supposed to arrive I received an email stating there was a problem with my card address so the order couldn't be processed! Why wasn't I contacted when the order was placed?! The guy on the phone was rude and unhelpful. The card address is correct so I can only think the issue is due to the incompetency of Car Audio Centre. Now reading the other reviews I see this is not unusual.”
