“i was in the market for a 90's vehicle in high demand. Carfax allowed me to check history at my fingertips, the minute a new add came up. I quickly found out that the model I was after is very prone to odometer rollbacks, salvage, and other title issues. I eventually found a diamond in the rough with low miles, and in great condition. Had I not used carfax I believe I would have settled for a lesser car.”

“I purchased the FIVE CARFAX approx. two months ago for $56.00, used ONE and now have been blocked from getting the remaining amount because my other purchased reviews "Expired". That's BS. VERY DISIPPOINTED because it was not clear that purchased reviews had a very short time limit.”

“I found a car for my daughter on Craigslist that seemed to be a great deal. However, it wasn't as good as I thought! The carfax showed that the car actually had more miles than the odometer was showing. Thank God I checked the car fax!”

“I purchased Carfax and Autocheck at the same time when I was shopping for my next used car in the first quarter of 2015. I found out that some of the cars showed no accident histories on Carfax, has accident histories on Autocheck. Carfax is not doing a good job in reporting accident histories. Luckily I bought two car history checking services to compare, otherwise I could have purchased a used car with an accident history without knowing.”

“I found a 2011 Hyundai Genesis on EBay that was listed at least $6,000 below Kelly Blue Book in Muskegon, Michigan. Upon reviewing the Carfax report, I saw that it had a salvage title. I called the dealer to find out why it had that title and they told me that it had hit a deer which damaged the right front fender. They said the car was exceptional and that the repair was excellent. I bought the car and flew up to Muskegon. It was as advertised, and I drove it back to my home in Florida. The car performed very well and it is one of my best buys ever. The Carfax report detailed the damage very well and gave me the confidence to buy the car.”

“Carfax helped prevent me from purchasing 2 different disaster cars. The first was a 2006 Pontiac Solstice, in which I purchased a CarFax report 30 minutes before purchase to find out the car had frame damage, & 2 previous wrecks. The second car was a 2008 Saturn Sky in which the report revealed the car had been stolen at one point, had a salvaged Title, been wrecked 3 times. Needless to say, CarFax saved me!!!!”

“CARFAX SAVED MY POCKETS! TWICE i was ready to buy a 2004 Acura TL milege on cluster said 160K. After carfax check the car really had 235k and 2007 Acura TL cluster stated 91k after carfax the car had 190k. Thanks to carfax i saved stress and headaches !.”

“My Wife and Myself were looking for a good first car for our Daughter, we found several vehicles for her, and let her pick a couple to eliminate some, we then used Carfax to help us eliminate all vehicles involved in collisions and incorrect mileage. Finally we found the perfect car for her thanks to Carfax! Plus they love the CarFox.”

“I would like to say thank you to carfax for saving me from making an expensive mistake. I found a really nice truck from out of state that I was interested in. After running a carfax I saw that the really nice truck was totalled at one time and had a salvage title. To make matters worse the title was washed and was being passed off as a clean title . The truck was being sold by private owner and I would have purchased it in cash on the spot being stuck with a truck that couldn't be titled in the state of N.J. After looking at numerous trucks and running car faxes on all of them I was surprised at how valuable this service really is. I am now the proud owner of a vehicle that I know the history about. “I have used CARFAX ever since its existence although I recently purchased a 2010 Mercedes Benz S550, I was told by the salesman he had the CARFAX details but he never showed it to me and I forgot to ask besides I trusted the brand. I totally regret it 3 days after I checked under the hood and some things just didn't feel right, then I decided to run the CARFAX record and OMG !! I brought the car back to the dealer and returned it, I was so glad they actually took it back otherwise would it be a nightmare, so never again, CARFAX is right tool when purchasing a car.”

“I was set to purchase a car for my daughter and came across a 1999 Dodge Stratus with only 29,000 miles. The seller said they were true miles and it was only driven to and from the store. I didn't believe the story so I bought the CarFax and learned the store was true. This was the best money I ever spent beside buying the car so cheap.”

“Carfax helped me twice while I was buying a car. I liked one 2007 accord. But carfax showed me that it was stolen and saved me from big loss. and my present one 2007 camry was clean carfax one owner that boos my confidence in that car. And I made the deal.”

“Carfax allowed me to find that the vehicle I was interested was a buyback and had been in 5 accidents since 1997. As a very experienced automotive enthusiast, I will never even look at another car until I see its Carfax. With a carfax in hand I was able to negotiate the price from $3500 to $500. Thank you so much!”

“I was looking at a 1976 caddy that was advertised 95000 original miles. The picture showed the plate on the car and I ran the carfax. I sent the seller an email and told him it had 180000 on it. He was mad saying I couldn't do a carfax without the vin #. Lol I told him I did it by his plate. He sent me a bunch of nasty emails because I flagged his ad. Lol . Thanks to carfax I wasn't stuck with that car.”

“We are a family of seven, my wife and I and our five children. CARFAX saved our butts so many times that I will be a customer for life. One of the cars we looked at the seller was advertising clean title with no accidents and one owner car. “Due to the info available on CARFAX I have been able to find some very fine vehicles and uncovered some really nasty vehicles also. Some people out there have no morals at all. With the paper trail found thru Carfax I have found several cars/trucks which have unannounced junk/totaled/washed titles run thru several states until the title came out clean. Also several sellers have reported false mileage readings thru DMV. Thankyou Carfax for what you do in reporting online any and all info on vehicles for all of us .”
