“The communication with their team (Chuck) was fast and efficient. The samples they sent before making orders were also very helpful. The ordering process was very easy too. They provided tips of measuring and feedbacks, which made the whole process very smooth. I enjoyed their work very much.”

“We ordered a Moheda cover for our couch, and of course, I was expecting to be custom made for it after paying such a large amount of money. We received the cover, and the product was faulty, it was not the way it was described on their website and photos, being very loose at the right side of the couch, super uncomfortable when sitting, so I stated that I'm not going to keep it. After back and forth emails for more than 10 days, they finally gave me an address where I can ship the product, but stating they will keep 35% of the amount, and not sending me a prepaid shipping label. So now i have to pay $180 for shipping and eat the 35% from the cover. That's unacceptable, and even on their website it states that if the cover is loose, they will provide a 100% refund: "If there had been fault on our part i.e.,- Sending you the wrong item(s) - Covers do not fit (too loose/too tight) We'll either refund you the full product value for a return" They should have mentioned that the covers for Moheda couch are loose from the beginning, before shipping the item, but they mentioned that in an email after I complained, suggesting i should use the pillows to keep the cover on it's place. Like common, I'm not paying more than 400$ for a cover to be loose, and the only way keeping it in place is using the pillows that I have. "Since the Moheda is originally upholstered and not slipcovered, there’s nowhere for the fabric to attach to so the best way to keep the frame cover on is to place the back cushions on top." Such a bad experience and headache with them, they are not true to what it states on their website, it is unacceptable Comfort Works!!”

Sorry to hear about your experience with us Lorena, It seems that it might have been a mismatch of expectations with the slipcover that you received; As mentioned, the Moheda is indeed an originally upholstered couch and the only way to give it a 360 degrees, tailored makeover is through re-upholstery. Slipcovers would always be a bit more relaxed at the end of the day, and provide an easy way to clean a sofa since they're a 100% removable. We sincerely believe that we have provided a product that was made to function and look as it should, which is why we have to charge a restocking fee should you decide to return. Once again, a simple solution using upholstery twist pins (which we can provide free of charge) to help secure the covers down even more would have done the trick, but it was also a solution to which you had declined to. We do stand by everything we make and if there truly was a fault on our part, we'd be able to refund you in full for the slipcovers. However, this wasn't the case and am afraid the restocking fee would still apply should you decide to proceed with the return. Regards, Chuck

“Great products. Our IKEA sofa is ten years old but so comfortable that we do not wanted to give up on it just yet... We ordered for the first time from Comfort Works 3 years ago and loved our new sofa but again, as we moved, we wanted a change. We ordered a new dark gray wool cover set and it is absolutely amazing. The quality is top notch for way cheaper than their competitors. We had actually ordered samples from multiple outlets and a blind test helped us pick our perfect new sofa covers. It was twice cheaper than the second choice and much softer... So kudos to Comfort Works for the great quality, the quick overseas delivery and the great customer service!”

“I had four sofa covers made in various fabrics. All were a perfect fit and nicely made. They arrived quickly. When there was an issue with one batch of fabric i was notified there might be a delay. When new material came in my order was rushed through to meet my deadline. Customer service was excellent, import taxes were refunded. A great company to work with.”

“Love this company from start to finish. They sent samples, answered my many many questions..all with a friendly and patient tone. Once I ordered they were super efficient, updates and service was excellent. Fairly priced ( almost half that of Pottery Barn ). To be truthful I was a little skeptical to order from overseas ( due to some dodgy clothing sites ) but after reading reviews I decided to go for it and am so glad I did. I would highly recommend Comfort Works.”

“Recently I ordered a KARLSTAD cover for my Sofa. Not only was the cover shipped faster than expected (I was painting and redecorating my house and the cover arrived before I even finished!) The custom service was great. Not only they answered all my questions quickly and accurately they also took care of the problems I had with customs. The cover is wonderful, fits well professionally fabricated and makes my Karlstad sofa like new. Thank you Comfort Works for all your effort, you did a great job!”

“Comfort Works helped transform my old sofa! It looks completely different and new, and in turn has transformed my living room without actually buying a new sofa. They sent me the fabric samples quickly and it really helped me choose which color I wanted. Also, Felicia helped me customize my slipcover to a fitted version I saw on their blog! I have the IKEA Ektorp sofa which has a skirt, but the fitted version they've created exposes the legs and the sofa looks so modern! It came with Velcro strips that were easy to install. Overall I'm so happy with the service and quality of the product!”

“In March 2016, I purchased three slipcovers from this company. Two were for the Mellby armchair in the "Gaia White" fabric and the third was for the Karlstad (3-Seater Long-Skirt Sofa Cover) in the "Liege Biscuit" fabric. Long story short. The covers have performed well except for one. The one made in the Liege Biscuit turned out to be defective and while the company replaced it with a cheaper one they refuse to refund me the price difference. They instead have offered a store credit, which is frustrating because I don't foresee any slipcover purchases in my future. If you want more detailed reviews of the covers and post purchase experience, read on. The two white cotton duck slipcovers were very loose upon arrival. I sent a photograph to the company and they agreed to pay for alterations. But I wondered whether I could live with it and discovered that after washing them in the machine (with cold water) that they shrunk into the right size. I suspect that like a pair of jeans these cotton slipcovers got stretched out during production. After multiple washes they still fit well. As for the Liege Biscuit slipcover for the Karlstad, the cover fit perfectly upon arrival. It looked great and it even repelled the cola that I accidentally spilled on it as well. But in September 2016, I received an email from the company informing me that the cover should no longer be machine washed due to shrinkage issues experienced by other customers. (The fabric was originally described and intended to be machine washable.) The company offered to reimburse me for dry-cleaning costs for up to two times within the 2-year warranty period. Well, I told them that the machine washability was a very important factor in my purchasing the slipcover, and that I would like a refund (as I did not want to be incurring dry-cleaning costs after a couple of years). They explained that they would prefer to send a replacement cover in an alternate fabric. In February 2017, I finally settled on getting a replacement cover in the Lino Brushed fabric. It did not have the same look-and-feel nor the stain resistance of the Liege Biscuit, but at least it could be machine washed. According to Australian consumer laws, I am within my right to a full refund on a product that does not match its description. Furthermore, Comfort Works' website also states that they will grant a full refund if the defect cannot be addressed by an alteration or replacement. Well, if I received this full cash refund and then purchased the cheaper replacement cover afterwards, I would have saved myself $90. But instead I'm left with a $90 store credit, which may not get used for years to come. I do not believe this is an unreasonable or an unusual request. As you know, Samsung recently offered its customers either a full refund or an exchange with a refund of the price difference between devices when it recalled the Galaxy Note7. In hindsight if I knew this is what would happen, I would've pushed for a full refund at the get-go. And perhaps I would've forked out more money and bought a pure linen slipcover from their main competitor (starts with the letter B). Buyer beware.”

“I had a great experience with this company. The whole process, from ordering sample fabrics, to them guiding me through measuring the sofa ( I had a custom order), went very smoothly. The final sofa slipcover looks beautiful, and fits perfectly. I would highly recommend this company.”

“After browsing the internet to find an appropriate slipcover for my beloved sofa "Allerum" I bumped into Comfort Works. What joy I felt to click through the various possibilities of fabrics and colors for my furniture. To make my decision easier I ordered 8 fabric-samples. In the end my choice fell on "Kino Willow" a lime/linden color. My sofa blazes in a new coat, and boy, am I happy!!! Thank you so much, Comfort Works Greetings Gabriela”
