My experience with One-Call has been terrible and I would avoid at all costs. I am going FCA for help. Reece the chat handler, was a excellent, he went through all my file with me and got me the info I asked for. He was polite and professional. Apart from my discussion with Reece, the whole experience has been a negative one.

Email documents did not arrive meaning I could not drive my car back from Gatwick as I was unsure if I was covered legally although the fee had been taken. No human to talk to. At 2200hrs on a Saturday??

I only wanted to change the vehicle on my policy nothing else. did it via the portal was told it was complete. checked it had not changed tried 5 times in one day to "live chat" only to find out it had "not gone through. and had to do it all over again on the portal for the portal to tell me it could not make my changes go to "live chat" ridiculous. I do not like the fact I cannot simply phone and speak to a person

Policy documents not received by email . Policy cancelled within 14 day cooling off period, still incurred a £60 charge , very disappointing. HP 1 dealt with issue politely after a 4- 5 minute wait in queue.

Tried to change my insurance as I have bought a new car. Couldn't do it by phone, online or via live chat. Really frustrating. Now have to try again.

They couldn't have made providing prof of no claims any harder. I used the site twice to provide the pdf document from the previous insurer. First rejected because they allegedly could read it, the second because apart from having full reference and the name of the insured, policy number. etc. It did not have the company logo. looking at the reviews I am not the first to have this issue. Makes me worried that if I need to use the insurance the will be equally as difficult! The adviser who helped was courteous but clearly was not allowed to act on his own initiative.

Nothing wrong with the customer service. However the waiting time was so long and then the payment system was down when I finally got through. I now have to call back and wait again in a queue.

Attention to detail lacking, ignorant staff who need a lot more training in customer service. Lodged formal complaint about the setting up of the policy. Avoid at all costs.

Operator seemed as though she couldn't be bothered with the call and seemed dis-interested. Was hoping to transfer new car onto my policy however price was way more expensive than other quotes I had received which was surprising as One Call is normally so competitive. Very disappointed with call and price.

Once I got through to an actual person, they were great, but it is extremely difficult to get through to a person, chat was off, cannot receive emails, too many options, it's very frustrating

I have had car insurance for over 40 years but I have never before had the following text messages: 1) that you cannot verify my driving license details - after wasting an hour getting onto your Chat facility I was told you DO have my driving license details 2) That you do not have proof if my No Claims Bonus. I have never had to contact my previous insurer before - I have now

Quote for renewal was too expensive. Lady came back with better deal with known company but still awaiting email and documents. Insurance runs out soooon???

It took me two days to change my vehicle. Chatted to Natasha first day, I paid £24 admin fee and then nothing. Had to queue next day on chat again, spoke to James who told me it had not been processed, I checked because I was picking up a new vehicle same day, just as well !! Also my excess was increased to £650 !! why...I never really got a good answer, don't think I'll be renewing next year.

I was cut off from live chat several times, each time I had to go back in the queue. That was extremely frustrating. The guy I chatted to was nice and helpful enough, but I felt like He was just readings script and got confused when I asked questions about what he said. That was incredibly frustrating for both of us

One call use a claim company called Commercial Legal. They sent our payment cheque to a wrong address, took 3 weeks for money to be sent. Courtesy car taken back, no money, unable to buy replacement car. Don't use them. Bobby brew

Easy to sign up and price-competitive. They want your business. Not so good when it comes to settling claims though in my experience. Less than generous - for an accidentally irreparably damaged laptop I got back around 30% of the price I had paid for it new 8 months earlier

Great price. Then site crashed without finishing. Wrong start date issued. Tried to amend but site not opening. Live chat a nightmare. Apparently an email sent to amend start date. However still saying the same. Site won't let me amend the date. No actual phone number to speak to a live person. Worrying I won't be covered as I collect car in an hour 40 miles away
