Its so annoying using online chat. I only wanted a quick "chat". It took over half an hour just waiting for their replies!!

Live chat kept crashing then putting me back 20th in the queue each time! Finally got through to someone as I wanted to query the price for amending my address...but the price on the portal was right!! I find it absolutely disgusting that I had to pay £46!!to amend my address!?? I get that most firms charge and admin fee for pushing a few buttons but this is daylight robbery and thought that as I've stayed a customer with u that you could reduce the fee but I had no choice but to pay it....well I shall be shopping around in a few months when my renewal is due that's for sure!

I wanted to give details of a new vehicle and it was so difficult due to not being able to speak with someone. The whole experience has been a complete nightmare. All I want to do is speak with a call handler to confirm things and to obtain my new documents to reflect the changes. I have not been able to access the documents and it is imperative that I do as a matter of urgency.

If One Call were only half as quick at answering a telephone call as sending out the pushy `How did we do ....` emails and texts , then I would be a lot happier . Management please take note !!

It took me about 4 hours cancel my automatic renewal through portal. Waiting in queue in chat then getting cut off while chatting. Agent not allowing me to cancel asking questions even though I told her just cancel. She would not take no for an answer. I no longer wish to have anything to do with one call. It was not possible to cancel my renewal on portal and there was no telephone number ring to physically talk to someone. It's obviously done to try and stop customers cancelling renewal. Very poor customer service. I will advise my friends and family to avoid one call like the plague.

TWICE I HAVE BEEN ON LIVECHAT AND ON THE TWO OCCASIONS, AT CRUCIAL MOMENTS WHEN DECISIONS WERE BEING ACTIONED, THE LIVE CHAT CUT OUT AND NOW I AM UNABLE TO RETURN TO IT BECAUSE OF THE NONSENSE EXCUSE OF CORONAVIRUS.

I informed the person I chatted with that I was asking for a friend with a. Californian license to be insured for my car - she sent me a link - I was then told I don’t insure US so complete waste of time -

Live chat is the only way of making contact with this organisation - if you select the wrong option (eg query instead of renewal) you have to start again. Queues are not too bad - about 10 minutes, but the service can be unavailable.

I received a renewal for car insurance. It was extortionate. Got it it £130 cheaper with the same cover. You don't take care of existing customers? If you did they probably would stay with you. The lady did say she would 'see what she could do to help' It just feels like a bit of minefield. I rang another company, actually spoke to someone in person, which I prefer. Much better personal service and cheaper too.

I wasn’t able to do what I’d wanted on the portal. Was directed to live chat. During the live chat I was told that if I used the portal to make the changes it would be cheaper which I found a bit disheartening since I had tried to do that already so wouldn’t want to end up having to pay more. After a conversation I was then told that the cancellation system was down and could I get in touch in a few hours. I understand if the system is down then there’s nothing the person on the live chat could do however this is very inefficient and annoying for me as I don’t have much time to be able to organise it. I asked for someone to call me when the system is up and you are able to give me the information I need but apparently this is not possible. Which again is inefficient and time consuming for me to have to go through the whole process again.

I have an on going query since Wednesday 15th July, I had recently purchased a private plate which has already been transferred over by DVLA, I was on the portal trying to change the number plate with the same car and was referred to live chat, I have been asking for a simple request for this private plate to be added on to my insurance, however it had to be referred to an underwriter. I was informed that I will be contacted by email the same day but have had no response. I have tried live chat again yesterday and the same was told. Now that’s 3 days now and I have had no response, I need this to be updated ASAP as I am unable to legally drive my car. I need to someone to take ownership and resolve this issue.

Only company I know still not taking phone calls. Trying to cancel my policy via a chat thingy. Said i would need to click on payment link which didnt say how much i owed. Could go back onto chat to check

This is a very difficult one too review because in the end I was transferred to Keeley who was amazing. But the portal would not allow me to amend my insurance. I was given a telephone number which kept ending. I eventually got though via live chat whereby the agent tried to redirect me to the portal. It was only after aking to discontinue the insurance that I was directed to Keeley. The name ONE CALL is a lie

Was told my application was going to be processed within the hour for a policy paid outright and am still waiting.... dont tell me something and not follow through after waiting over half an hour just to chat on live chat and end up being told it will be sorted whwn its not 🤬🤬🤬
