I called customer service regarding my direct debt payments and the adviser kept pressing her mute button throughout the call with out asking myself I kept in having to ask if she was still there to which she would reply yeah- so due to this I would only rate this call 2 stars as I used to work for a car insurance company in customer service department and would not call this type of service very good

Very hard to understand, impatient assistant, irritated when customer does not understand terminology regarding insurance policy, overall, very stressful and unpleasant experience leaving one wonder whether the information one was given was reliable.

Not a good start. I wanted same day cover, after paying I was asked for driving licence details. I was then told that my 'application for insurance' would be processed within two hours. Almost 24hrs later (next day) I finally get confirmation, for the time inbetween, I didn't know if I was covered. Not great when you've just purchased a vehicle. I'm now having issues with proof of no claims and 'valid documents'. Apparently an insurance schedule with all details shown, including no. of years no claims isn't acceptable (this is from Tesco.com not some back street insurer). The whole process continues to be inconvenient. Online portal isn't that great either. Can't recommend and unlikely to renew with this company.

We spoke with AB4, who was very helpful. Unfortunately the wait to get through was very long (more than 10 minutes), and she wasn’t able to help us with one of our two issues. So - the person very helpful, the system not so much.

whilst the member of staff was very polite and helpful he did not send the requested email so I could send on my no claims discount information via the link

Have sent proof of no claims bonus and still my policy is wrong they keep telling me that it's not proper proof as it's a headed letter from Hastings direct with proof of my no claims bonus. can't wait to get back to Hastings direct

I was unable to change my policy online to register my change of vehicle so after failing to do so through live chat I eventually spoke to an advisor who sorted my policy. This was only Monday this week but still have not received updated documents. Telephone advisor was good the rest not (website and live chat)

Haven't had my policy 24 Hrs and nothing but queries all the advisers have been extremely helpful but getting through is a night mare,listening to you info unnecessarily having to wait until message has finished before allowing to enter option extension Not impressed at all

Very poor customer service and as soon as anything changes the company takes it as an opportunity to put excessive charges on the customer! £39 for a change of address, total rip off. My bank and my home insurance company didn't charge me anything. You can't even make the change on line. Very disappointing. It also took a long time to reach an advisor and they were clearly distracted when I was connected , no doubt dealing with many customers at the same time, customer service is a thing of the past.

I was under the impression that home emergency cover was free but after I paid I found that it was limited and that there is a £25 call out fee unless I pay an extra amount of nearly £40 which brings the cost of cover way above competitors quotes. Please be more open One Call!

Would love the opportunity to talk to them but have not got a phone number everything is via email and I don't seem to be getting the same service as everyone else. In fact I won't stay with them after this policy runs out.

Still trying to download documents! Tried when I booked insurance,didn’t send for some reason,tried on link and the submit button does not work. Wouldn’t mind but received rather abrupt emails and texts saying the insurance will cancel unless I send the licence and NI details!!! Arghh

Be warned, changing an address constitutes a change of policy. They have an admin charge for this process as, and I quote, "These changes incur costs" on their side too. For example, if you change your address 4 months into a 12 month contract, your premium will go up by more than £5 a month for the rest of the term. I suppose that's their business model, but it's pretty poor and doesn't leave one with a good taste in the mouth. Skip this company and go straight to the insurer.

The wording of the review question needs attention: "Please write a short review of One Call Insurance" I cannot do, as I have as yet no experience of how good or bad they are. If you mean "please review the signup process", then say so. If that is the intention, and you want to know how well agent "w2" did: he was good - I'd give four stars out of five. Not five as he was a little pushy on the extra cover I didn't buy, but I understand he's got to chase his commission (or keep his statistics up). Also slightly rushed on running through some of the standard texts, but I don't _really_ mind that. He was friendly without that being excessive: he's good at his job.

Worried with email, telling me my police would be cancelled. When talked to lady on the phone told I had not paid, but they had taken payment but had not processed it properly! All sorted , and lady on phone very apologetic but does not stop the worry.

Too long-winded and slow wait. Wanted a simple instruction completing - direct debit for last day of the month but call agent said “but don’t always have a 31st in every day of the month”.

Not everyone likes talking to a computer. I have waited around 2 hours in total to chat , Portal and even call simply to change my Vehicle. Chat kept going off Portal sent me back to Chat and i was number 11 in the queue to speak to an agent.:(

After speaking to 4 people and endless options I finally got through. Colleague dealing with my query was excellent and sorted everything for me. My only negative is all the options and when you choose an option you get more to choose frustrating a ten minute phone call took 25 minutes to reach the right person

slow and frustrating, I spent the best part of 40 minutes on live chat and then while waiting for him to come back to me with a quote, I got a message to say as I hadnt replied (no reply necessary as he was goign to come back to me and asked me to bear with him) The live chat was ended. we went round and round in circles and achevibed nothing I will be going elsewhere for my insurance quote TW4
