Wasn’t renewing this year as was too expensive. Payment was already taken from my account on Friday 30th although not due till 4th September. I called to cancel on 5th September. Hopefully full refund will be back in my account soon

Live chat never works and I cant change my Vehicle on the my portal why tell people that you can when i clearly can’t.

I needed to cancel my motor insurance policy. I had sold my car and moved abroad, however the policy still had 3 months to run. I was informed via “live chat” that I would not be charged any costs for ending my policy early, nor would I receive a refund for the three months that were remaining on the policy. Shame on you One Call👎 It took just one call to ensure that they would never receive a recommendation from me.

Just taken out insurance with them and tried to call @ 18.30 and message said it was closed when customer service is supposed to be open till 8pm only wanted to check to see if my proof of NCD had uploaded and Live Chat was not available either even though that said it's open till 8pm, think they need to check what time they close and change it to the correct time on the website

I have just found it so difficult doing my insurance online this year. Usually go to a broker. I found the policy I wanted online but not enough information about the breakdown cover, so I phone to checked, good thing I did it was useless without upgrading to gold cover. So renewed insurance and breakdown with person on the phone only to get a letter saying you didn't have my driving licence details and my insurance could be cancelled, did that, no confirmation to say you had it, so go to live chat that leads to can I contact my previous insurer for my no claims to get it sent and upload, can you no access this yourself? and then I'm spending time giving this review. All in all everything takes too long and what a headache. I do wish sometimes computer hadn't been invented.

Changed vehicle on policy, but unable to provide short overlap in insurance for dropping of/picking new vehicle up. Quite disapointing really as this is standard with my other insurer.

Good value - but I almost abandoned the site as their site is WAY TOO PUSHY to get you to add extras. I must have clicked no about ten times and it is almost misleading in its approach. It should be a ONE TIME question which respects when you click NO!

Spent nearly 1 1/2 hours on telephone & live chat trying to claim or get assistance for a badly chipped windscreen.Live chat took all my info at great length then gave me a phone number to call NWS windscreens direct.Contacted NWS & gave another lengthy load of info then told someone would call me back with a date/time for fitting new screen." hours later got text from NWS saying they were not my insurance companies prefered windscreen fitters so could no longer help me !!! Could not get on live chat back to Onecall so phoned up instead. I was 23 in the queue so had to wait over 1/2 an hour to get through to a call handler. They made me go through the lengthy questions & answers again then gave me a phone number to call which I did. Again loads of questions only to be told that I was speaking to NWS again and they are not my insurers preferred windscreen fitters ? Thankfully I explained my dilemma to the call handler who got to the bottom of it and gave me another phone number this time to National Windscreens,again loads of questions before they said they are the correct fitters and someone would call me back in the afternoon ? Thankfully they did call back and it is arranged for repair/new screen next week... So nearly 2 hours on the phone then waiting another few hours to finally get sorted but have lost 1/2 a day of my life & a whole lot of money on phone calls with the majority being wasted calls to the wrong people I was told to ring. A cheap policy and easy to get through to when starting the policy but slightly different and harder to sort help or start a claim !!!

The person I was discussing my problem was quite slow at time when replying to my messages. Apparently I provided my DOB as 24/05/1971 instead of 24/05/1972 and I’ve been penalised by £19.11 because of 1 year! Ludicrous is an understatement!

I was left frustrated by my experience with One Call Insurance. The call by your advisor was through and he was polite, but I felt as though I wasn't just taking up my car insurance policy but more it was the opportunity to bombard me with other upsell opportunities at every possible point. I recognise your team may have to mention some of these but as I had already selected what I wanted from the Compare the Market site I felt this was an unecessary, lengthy and unwelcome process which has left a negative feel about One Call Insurance.

I was asking about installing my son-in-law as an additional driver on my car insurance. When asked whether he had any motoring points or had been involved in an accident in the past five years I replied that he had had his car stolen on his driveway in the last three months - other than that there was nothing. I was immediately advised that my insurance company would not be interested as they would treat that as a fault claim. It was a very quick close down to my enquiry, delivered in a cold and clinical manner. I was not impressed.

"Stay clear ....... Had to cancel policy early due to renewal quote being too high. Found a new insurer and cancelled 3 weeks in advance. Then started receiving renewal confirmations emails. Called to ask what’s going on and they say policy was not cancelled now I have to pay £72 to cancel policy. Ridiculous, Just shocking and disgraceful behaviour towards customers 😡.

It us all morning just change a number plate on our vehicle and charged for for the experience to boot. Was helped out but Holly over the phone in the end ...live chat not for us I am afraid not helpful at all.
