I ordered a Dyson heater on the 15th January and I still have not received the product. I contacted them via email on the 20th January asking where it was but didn't receive a reply until the 23rd, I was told they were waiting for stock which would arrive on the Wednesday and I would receive the heater on Friday. I emailed again on the 27th and I'm still yet to receive a reply. Not a happy customer.

Purchased a Breville kettle (£35), when I used the kettle it was excessively noisy at times when boiling (a loud banging and thumping noise), on the first time I returned the kettle staff checked the kettle in my presence and no fault could be found, I explained that it was an intermittent but regular fault, salesman explained that as the kettle appeared to be in full working order there was nothing they could do. Returned again 2 weeks later with the same fault, I also made a recording on my phone of the fault, kettle checked again and again staff could not find fault. I have now thrown the kettle in the skip and purchased a new kettle from a different retailer, I had been a customer of Donaghey Bros for the past 30 years but will never purchase another item from any of their outlets ever again.

Ordered a dyson which arrived faulty, sent email asking for an exchange or refund and following their terms and conditions they would collect. I got a reply simply stating to call dyson which I thought is not my problem to do so, replied this in an email and no response for over two weeks. I send four emails in those two weeks with no reply. Luckily I paid through PayPal or so I though as I opened a case with them and PayPal couldn't even get a reply, another week passed so I escalated the claim and till PayPal couldn't get a response, a failing on PayPal as well which I am also complaining about as they have not kept in contact with me. This is still ongoing and over a month has passed and I still have this dyson to be collected and my refund to happen. I would not recommend this company, today I also made a decision to call them on which the girl I spoke to thought it highly amusing that I haven't had a Working Hoover in all this time, but actually seemed to get the accounts manager to respond via PayPal. I am utterly disgusted and will never use this firm again.

Spent £550 for fridge-freezer, item supposed to be delivered within max 7 days, on 5th day received first and last email with delivery information - in 5 days, after 12 days nothing happened, I sent email with enquiry about my item, never received answer, On 14th day after purchase I received call from delivery company, guy told me fridge would be in 2 hours. So wife had to take day off, and she had to carry fridge because they send 80 kg item with one man. No communication, long delivery, terrible delivery company. Better spend extra £20 and buy somewhere else.

I have a very bad experience with you as I buyed a oven and paid for it and they cancelled my order and said that they do not have it in stock although on their website the oven i brought was in stock but at a higher price. I sent them messages and i have not receieved any replies

I ordered a £500+ Dryer from Donaghy Bros on Thursday evening as our old one gave up, it was showing as In Stock with a 3-5 working days, the following day I received an email to say the item was in Stock with their Home delivery company in the UK and they would be in touch with me to arrange delivery......and that was the last I heard. The following Tuesday I rang the delivery company and was told that they didn't know anything about my order....I contacted Donaghy Bros who said that there had been a mix up and the item wasn't actually in stock in the UK and that they were awaiting a delivery of stock from the manufacturer and they weren't sure when I would get my dryer. After contacting Donaghy Bros on Wednesday I was told that it would be delivered on Monday so I arranged to work from home so I could be there when it is delivered, after again chasing Donaghy Bros Friday morning I have been told that it will now be delivered on Tuesday....... Not once have I received a call/text/email from them keeping me updated, all in all pretty poor customer service !

Received email letting me know that delivery would take place on Friday 24th , at 3.30 on that day , having taken the day off to take delivery, I had not heard anything, so decided to phone , found out that my goods had not arrived in the warehouse yet . Surely I should have been informed of this beforehand. I have just wasted a whole day waiting . Still not sure when I will get my goods even though I paid for them over 2 weeks ago.

The worst company i have ever dealt with. I was assured before odering that an extractor hood wiuld be delivered to me by the 22/06, i contacted them on the 22nd to be told it wouldnt be ready for dispach until the 29th (a phone call or email would have been nice!!!) kitchen is very nearly fitted so they've left me in a bit of a pickle. Thanks Donaghy bros. Avoid like the plague.

Post ordering communication is non existent. I placed my order and heard nothing, other than a request to do this review after 2 days! I then emailed them to ask for the status of my order stressing how could I do a review if I did not have any service to review? I was never notified the item had been dispatched and it just turned up 5 days after ordering! I have still not had a response to my email a week later! The item arrived slightly later than advertised (4 working days rather than the 2-3 stated). Obviously there was no information to allow me to track the courier delivery as I've had no correspondence full stop!! Very poor!

Ordered a Roberts DAB radio on the 31/05/2016. According to the website your company had them in stock. I paid through pay pal and the money was taken straight away. The next day I received an email saying you no longer stocked this particular radio and that my money would be refunded. Why are you advertising a product you don't have? I received an email from Pay Pal to say the refund is pending. It is now the 6/6/2016 and the refund is still pending. As the payment was taken straight away , I don't see any reason why it cannot be refunded straight away. Very disappointed with Donaghy Bros who have not provided a very good customer experience.

Hi John, Thank you for your feedback. I fully understand how frustrating it can be when this happens. The RD60 Beach-hut has now been removed from our website (as it should have been when it was discontinued by Roberts). With regards to your refund, I can confirm it was processed the day after your order was placed, 01/06/2016. Paypal may be temporarily withholding your funds which in my experience would be perfectly normal in these cases. Ordered a Bosch washing machine for my parents following the positive reviews here. It started off so well with a nice email to say my order had been received and that it would be delivered in 2/3 days and that was it for comms unless i called them first. The washing machine arrived but no one was home as we weren't told when it was going to be delivered. So it got bounced around by the delivery company (FedEX i believe). Now when i say bounced around i mean literally as when we finally did receive it, the top panel was broken, the plastic cracked, the side dented and the front panel was loose. Along with this it was rainsoaked as it didn't have proper packaging (no box). That's not all. The delivery company was expecting my dad to help them move it. We stressed that he couldn't as he has severe arthritis. Because of this they delayed the delivery for two days and still turned up with one driver so dad had to helped. They made the damage worse by putting it upside down. Now this is probably to do with the delivery company and so be aware that the Donaghy Bros may deliver by themselves in Northern Ireland but not on mainland UK. Now it gets worse. I called numerous times and sent an emails. He assured me that they would pick up the damaged one and replace it with a brand new one with a new delivery company. We were supposed to be notified on the same day..... About a week passed and i had to call back numerous times with useless people on the phone who guarenteed me that someone would call me back (though they never did). Finally they arranged a time for collection of the damaged one and the delivery company didn't even show. John guarenteed me that the replacement would be with my parents by the following morning at 9am with 2 people to deliver. On arrival the delivery man laughed saying they don't even leave by 9am and guess what he was on his own again! Guess what again, the second one was damaged as well. John gave us our money back thankfully. He is the only one that is any good, like i said the rest are useless. Too busy out at lunch when i called. Basically i would avoid this company like the plague. The amount of stress they cause my parents is not on. This is not cause of the damaged goods (which was the delivery companies fault) but because of the terrible customer service. 3 weeks after i ordered a washing machine and two faulty washing machines later, i now have to start again :(

Hi Sunjay, Thank you for taking the time to write this review. We do value our customers feedback, this include both positive an negative feedback. You and I have spoken a few times regarding your experiences and again may I pass on my sincere apologies. We have spoken with the delivery company that was involved, our MD has taken the problems that you endured and raised them with the MD of the delivery company. We do try hard to make all of our customers experience a positive one, but sometimes things unfortunately do not always go to plan. Your Washing Machine should never had been delivered upside down, this is something that we have raised with the delivery company. The item though was not rainsoaked, these items are all factory tested and do contain some water because of this, as the delivery people handled it upside down the water in it ran over the machine. It is my opinion that the cracks and other damages on the item were caused by how the delivery people handled it. With regard to the 2nd delivery, we did pass the details to the delivery company that your parents were unable to assist in any lifting, why this was not followed up is another thing we are raising with them. In saying all that, you are the customer and regardless of the let downs by the delivery company, we do appreciate that we are responsible. So for all that you've had to endure, we are sincerely sorry. Kind Regards John

Item was supposed to be in stock, but turned out it wasn't & wouldn't be available for a couple of weeks. Then tried to fob me off with a display model without initially telling me this is what it was and with no money off.

Company accepted the order and some days later replied to say "We are disappointed to let you know that we cannot supply your order, 3891 for Miele Complete C3 Powerline, as we are unable to get stock of this model currently from Miele." The reality is this model is widely available everywhere, the real reason is probably they were unable to provide at the cost they had advertised.

Hi Sajid, Let me please offer my apologies, but also assure you that we ARE able to supply the product at the price we had advertised it at. This product has proved very popular because of the price we have it and therefore we simply went out of stock. When we contacted Miele to get more stock in, Miele were out of stock. I can only assume that the other companies you have seen it in have got physical stock, but are maybe not as competitively priced as us. You'll notice that our price is still the same and that we are still taking orders for them, some of our customers are waiting on the stock to come in again and some, like yourself have chose to cancel. But again, let me assure you that it was simply a stock issue with your order and not a problem with supplying the item at the advertised price. Kind Regards John
