Driver delivered wrong order entirely. Spent 45 minutes on hold to get a refund. Still had to dispute the charge on my credit card when it was never processed.

i mean who doesnt like getting food delivered right? sometimes we dont mind paying the delivery tip and the fee but seriously this company has hidden charges. They upcharge all the food on the menue and than add their extra clearly visable fees so in reality youre paying saying 15 bucks for food but in reality if you look at the resturants actual prices that same food should have cost $5. so not only are they pocketing all the fees that you DO know about they are pocketing the moneyh for fees that are basically a secret since im sure they dont expect customers to use their brains and see how much the food actually cost through the store. Now that is shady buisness if you ask me... Ill stick to going to get the food myself or calling a resturant to deliver to me directly rather than deal with the secret fees. and lets not forget the drivers! if they see a $0 dollar tip you better believe youll get your food 3 hours late even if you had a $ten dollar tip in cold hard earned cash waiting for them. I could go on but ill leave it at this

During the shutdown this was a life saver but now? Their service has become terrible, food arrived cold because driver is always delivering another order, you get wrong orders and the delivery time is doubled. And they require tips for service in advance which means you are paying 30% for cold food delivered late. Tips means To Insure Prompt Service. Time for all of us to go back to cooking— at least the food will be hot.

Will not replace food or money when restaurant is willing to correct burnt food. Supports excuse is,”it’s in our policy”. Representative could not explain policy to me. If superior ever answer the phone I will cancel my free delivery. why pay for it monthly. When I have had problems starting from day one.

I am a dasher they app sucks i have a smoother work with Uber Eats. Doordash needs to step up there game. To much waiting, to many tech issues, and it sucks that u have to switch counties just to recieve deliveries. I hate getting snow balled with a bunch of orders below 5 bucks. At least make minimum orders 5 bucks we hate $2.50 - $4.50 deliveries. Its already bad enough most folks wont tip.

VERY BAD SERVICE FROM THE DASHER LEFT MY FOOD OUTSIDE ONTHE GROUND WHEN I GAVE SPECIFIC INSTRUCTIONS TO RING THE BUZZER. HAD TO CALL CUSTOMER SERVICE...WHICH WAS ON WITH THEM FOR 45 MINUTES. THEY WERE VERY NICE EVEN THOUGH I WAS ON HOLD FOR SO LONG. FINALLY THEY DID RESOLVE THE PROBLEM AND HAD THE FOOD REMADE AND THE NEXT DASHER WAS NICE AND QUICK....ALL THIS FOR A SANDWICH FROM SUBWAY!!! LATER ON IN THE EVENING ABOUT 4 HOURS LATER IT WAS FOUND OUTSIDE ON THE GROUND. EVEN DOGS GET THEIR FOOD IN A BOWL!

delivery took 1/3 longer than estimated. driver sat at a previous address to our delivery. not use why since they just drop it off at the steps and leaves. we were given a gift card to use but wouldn't use it again with our own money. also noticed they make it difficult to give feedback on their website. I try not to use Doordash when possible. I wish the other delivery services had the selection that Doordash has. That is the only reason to use Doordash, their orders are never on time like ever. I think its nonsense they don't let you rate them, just the drivers. I have had so many issues with them and when you email them about it they don't even respond. I have never had a problem with one of their drivers but Doordash are the worst. Their website has so many errors, orders always late and dashpass is a complete scam, I paid for it then noticed I was still being charged the same fees and when I asked about it they wouldn't even respond. Terrible service I wish they would get their act together.

I’ve placed 8 orders in total, 5 had major problems. I’ve had the wrong items delivered (I’m diabetic and need sugar free and I’ve received regular items, not as substitutions). I’ve had orders left at the wrong house on a completely different street, I had no idea where so I had to wait for the dasher to retrieve the items and bring them to my house an hour later. They don’t knock or ring the bell to let me know they have delivered my orders. I’ve ordered fast food and wasn’t notified until 45 minutes later that it was dropped off. Most recently, I placed a $97 order to KFC on Christmas Eve, when the dasher got there they said they were closing. The app said they were open till 5pm, I placed the order at 3:50pm, it was 4pm. I contacted support, I was told they canceled the order and issued me a refund, 4 days later and I’ve heard nothing, received no confirmation email. I contacted support again and was told no refund was issued. They said they would issue the refund since it was customer service who canceled the order, not me. I’m still waiting for confirmation. I’ve had issues with orders, dashers and customer service. I’ll never use their service again, which sucks since they’re the only delivery service where I live!

Ok here we go. This was my very first time using the app. I ordered my food from Chic Filet. The driver texted me saying he was waiting on someone else’s order before he can deliver my order. I’m ok with that it’s how they make money. As long as my food is warm I’m not gonna be butthurt. Well I got the food and the order was wrong. I left a decent tip for the driver. I texted the driver that the order was wrong. He told me to deal with the app. Ok so I deal with the app. They give me $10 for my missing food. But the tip stays with the driver. I had to get in my vehicle and go back through the drive through in person. What’s the point of the app if I had to do it my damn self. This is complete BS they mess up the order and you have to go back and get food. I won’t be lazy anymore. This app taught me a lesson.

Paying increased prices, fees, tips, etc PLUS waiting and getting cold food because my dasher took 1 or 2 other orders on their way to me- ridiculous. I used to use door dash all the time and I will be changing my usage habits to nearly never using until door dash returns to its orginal structure.

I was traveling, exhausted, and hungry.I used DoorDash. It said, “your Oder will arrive in 5 min.” Then, it said, “order canceled”. So, I went to bed hungry. That was not nice. Nor did they try to fix it at all.

As a driver this company is pretty scummy. You only get $2.50 per order base + tip (customer's bid). The non-tippers that gripe and complain on here are the worst to deliver to. Us drivers have a saying no tip no trip. If you don't tip at least $4 then there is a good chance you will have bad service or not ever receive your food. Doordash likes to pull a fast one by hiding tips and stacking a low tip with a high tipping customer. Support will tell us they will pay us an added base $3-8 to rectify an issue with a customer's order only to go back on it later and not give us what was agreed upon. (This is why no driver is going to go back to a restaurant to fix your orders if the restaurant messes up. We will just tell you to call support for a refund as we don't want to get screwed with a contract violation or work for free). We can literally have our contract terminated over the smallest thing even at the whim of a disgruntled customer. Most drivers are barely making minimum wage after expenses and DoorDash doesn't care much about the customers or the drivers or they would be much more transparent. Okay I'll be transparent on here so you all will be in the know. - Your tip is not a tip. It is a bid for service. If you don't tip you'll get bad service or none a majority of the time. (we see what your order will pay and decide whether to accept or decline the offer based on that and the mileage and time your order will take.) If you order something 5 miles away and don't tip at least $4 for time and distance than sorry you'll never get your food. - Us drivers do not control stacked orders. Orders are stacked if two orders going in the same direction are ready for pick up at the same time. If an order is getting declined a lot then they will try to stack it with an order that is also going in the same general location to make the payout look nicer. -WE ARE NOT ALLOWED TO OPEN SEALED BAGS OR CHECK YOUR FOOD - You'll pay on average $1-2 more on each item when you order off doordash compared to the merchant's website because doordash takes a cut of everything the merchants sells through them which makes merchants increase their prices to offset the added cost. -Us drivers will not work for free. If you order from 10+ miles away then you are going to either have to tip big $10 minimum or be prepared for a looonnggg wait as your order gets bounced around until it ultimately gets stacked. -The reason your food is cold most of the time is your fault or the restaurants. You may not like to hear this one but a majority of the time this happens is when an order is not worth taking so it sits. You may think a tip is extra because that is what they call it, but it is not. It is a bid for service that will greatly determine how your entire experience using doordash goes. The only time it is a driver's fault is if your order is damaged or missing drinks that aren't supposed to be in sealed bags (aka not mcdonalds or starbucks). -Lastly DoorDash customer support is only reading scripts and literally has sympathy statements in it when you are upset. They are all overseas with thick accents and paid maybe $3/hour so they don't really care all that much about your experience if it falls outside of their scripts. If you want them to say something that isn't scripted out then you'll have to try to speak to their supervisor (goodluck with that one they are hard to reach). TLDR; Drivers are contractors not employees. We don't make an hourly wage so your tips are not tips to us but a bid for service. If we took non-tip orders then we would effectively be paying to work. NO TIP NO TRIP. DoorDash is a horrible company that doesn't care about the customers or its contractors. They will hide your tips, stack your orders, punish drivers for going back to a restaurant to fix your food, and cycle you through a scripted support that will read you sympathy statements without solving your issue.

Doordash can be absolutely great at times. Unfortunately , I have been shorted items items at least half the time when ordering. Other times it takes longer than expected and the food arrives cold. Only only once have I had a rude doordash delivery person. Suffice to say that I will not install the doordash app and I will stick with delivery with responsibility placed upon The restaurant that I order from.

Poor deliveries. Dashers leaving food on or near trash cans, texting 5-15 minutes after they already left that the foods there. Not a great thing for people that order warm food in colder areas. Giving 2 stars because the delivery fees are cheaper than most competitors, however you will sacrifice any common sense delivery best practices. Canceled by DashPass and de-activated the account -- several issues with Door Dashers, wouldn't recommend, saving a buck or two ain't worth the cold food and headaches.

Put in a order food was tough and overcooked couldn't eat throw it away wanted my money back food was not up to standard door dash refund to refund my money on 32.00 I paid 61. Dollard ask me to take a picture I was so embarrassed cause they think that I would lie about food but I refuse to dig in the trash never again will I order from them been will them for a long time if that's the way they feel never will they have to worry about me again don't take my money and treat me bad can't say anything good but be careful goodbye couldn't not even chew meat. To tough and very dried out

They wont deliver food from restaurants 30 minutes before they close, which is plenty of time to get to a fast food restaurant and get the food. Additionally, I have ordered chipotle from them multiple times and every single time they will deliver me a burrito that I am able to finish in two bites. If youve ever been to chipotle you know how large the burritos usually are. I dont know if they just see that its an online order and skimp out on it or what, but its unacceptable. I will however say that doordash is sometimes pretty decent with resolving the issues and issuing me a partial refund if it occurs. For that reason I will give them 2 stars as opposed to just one
