I've ordered from Door Dash several times. The drivers are great! It's the website we order from that is not working well and the company will do nothing about it. I've complained in emails to the home office about this same problem. I just spent another 2 hours making a big grocery order from a local grocery chain, HyVee, here in Iowa. It was about 44 items in the cart and added up to $145.00 before any fees added on. But when I clicked the "place order" button, the site directed me to sign in like with Facebook. This erases the entire cart order!! I had already signed in with my address, as usual, in the beginning. There is no other way to sign in before ordering. The company will not change this. Signing in AGAIN at the end of our order wipes out our entire order and starts us from scratch again. All our time going through the whole supermarket's groceries and ordering is wasted. I'm so tired of this! Right now I am crying. I needed those groceries and I don't drive.

ASAP means nothing.,... don't believe the hype placed an order at 11:08 a.m. it is now 1:13 p.m. how is it ASAP...,.. you figure it out.

I don't understand the point of providing delivery instructions when the dasher doesn't bother to read them. Delivery instructions are there for a reason - to provide the dasher with needed information and the customer with some piece of mind that they will get what they ordered, as they ordered it. Multiple times, I've left the same delivery instructions; so far not one dasher has followed them.

The name doordash implies that they will bring it to your door, so far 50% (6) of the dashers this past 10 days has requested that we come to their car. I'm staying in a hotel, and paid extra for them to bring it to the room, as I incrementally increased the tip only a few brought it to the room. What's the order was complete, the door dash app would say your order has been brought to you per your instructions, which is incorrect. The dashers took the tip and were unwilling to actually bring it to the "door". Try making people earn the tip before you give it to them.. EPIC FAIL

I used to have pretty decent experiences with Doordash. The drivers now pick up multiple orders (I don't blame the drivers for wanting to make more money) and sometimes my food is picked up from a restaurant and then sits in the driver's car for 30-40 minutes before being delivered. The food is always cold, soggy and gross. I complain and get some of my money back, but what I'd really like is an edible meal that I paid a lot of money for. I canceled my dashpass and rarely use them anymore.

I have ordered DoorDash 3-4 times and the service is getting worst each time. The first time was great! My driver texted me to let me know my food was delivered. The next time was late but the driver was nice. The last two times, the driver didn't let me know the food was delivered, no utensils, even though it was requested, and no notification that the food was there so it was cold when I got it. I'm not using your service again. I will switch over to a service that is much better for the price!

They literally charged my son double the bill. You give all the excuses you want but that is ridiculous!! They charged a total of 61.00 for Wendy’s!!!

Just spent $23.00 in food I can't eat!!! Drivers and restaurants have to be aware of what is in the order, and what goes with it!! You can't have sushi without SOY SAUCE! I'm looking at you GINZA (Fruitville Rd., Sarasota). A 3 roll order without SOY SAUCE?? Please!! I am getting tired of spending good $$$ on lousy orders. I am taking a "vacation" from Doordash. Quality Control Guys...Quality Control.

They use so many drivers that your lucky if you get a good. Support does not respond to inquiries. Drivers are directed to drop on the table by back door. Their drivers leave the food anywhere they want. Just not by following our COVID directions. Drivers should be trained and sensitive in today's world. Most importantly when you pay them door dash should respond. In my case I wanted my tip returned.

While I have not had a terrible experience with Door Dash, their "service fee" is much higher than Skip the Dishes. However, they offer no additional service.

Restaurant manager here that uses the doordash service. To give people some incite on how it works from a restaurant point of view. Basically the order comes in, we confirm it and prepare it immediately. The doordash app assigns a dasher sometimes cycling through up to FIVE dashers (decent sized city) before finally assigning one. When the order is completed on our end we press "order ready for pickup" on their tablet. However from my knowledge (I could be wrong, I don't use doordash as a customer) the customer does not actually see that the restaurant has their order ready. Only the driver does. So this means the customer has the potential to blame the restaurant for taking to long even though it is all on doordash's end. Also a problem I've seen 70% of the time is the drivers press the "dasher waiting for order" button UP TO 5 TO 10 MINS before they even arrive at our restaurant. This I know the customer see's on their app and makes the store look bad. Overall, the service needs some serious moderation. I've had very professional drivers and some who look like they just got off a 10 day meth binge.

Had previously used Door Dash 5 or 6 times, but one Saturday night we decided to order about 5:15 for delivery from Boston Market. It said delivery would be between 45-55 minutes. That should have been my first clue. Boston Market doesn't take that long! One and 1/2 hours later they finally delivered. To Boston Markets credit they didn't plate our dinners until the driver was there so they were hot when they arrived. Either Door Dash doesn't know how many people they have on or they don't shut delivery off soon enough. Will probably not use them again.

I used to not have any problems with this company. My last two orders have taken over an hour to make an appearance on my doorstep. Called the restaurant if my order was waiting and they said they never even got a ticket from them. Tried to call customer service multiple times and did not respond. Ended up cancelling my order and waiting for my refund that will take 5-7 business days.

I like DoorDash.... BUT.... THE PROBLEM is that their app does not let you send a messages to the restaurant with specific instruction how do you like your food like extra sauces.. extra chili.. etc... Like UBEREATS …in UBEREATS... you have an option to send a messages to the restaurant to prepare the food exactly the way your like it … I do not mind paying extra as long I get the food EXACLY the way I like it

Unfortunately the service from door dash has gone downhill lately. Several orders delivered incomplete, and tonight after receiving confirmation that my order had been picked up, I was informed minutes later that it was canceled. I have to wait 3 days for a refund and zero offers from customer support to try to remedy or make it right. I am D.O.N.E WITH DOORDASH. Too bad for them, I spent hundreds of dollars/month.

Signed up for the free trial of dash pass....but still didnt like the cost so I never ended up using it the night I got it. Fast forward one month and no email since the initial email about dash dash and telling me I would be charged. Last week I honestly thought about it and said to myself I must have already cancelled since there was no emails and didnt think on it again. Check my bank account at 530 am today for other reasons and shows a charge posted today for it. My bad for not not fully confirming (or else i would have given a 1 star) But I am disappointed that they are so money hungry that they dont send even one other email saying your card will be billed on such a date with a reminder at least for the FIRST billing and a thankful fpr being a member. Yes it tells you way at the bottom of the initial email 1 month prior because I looked through my email this morn but honestly, every other thing sends me a short reminder with a thanks for being a member and that I will be charged starting on a certain date....cancelled it this morning but couldnt find anywhere to do anything for a refund. I never used it and I only ever got emails to activate an offer for 10 off my first delivery and get free delivery with that if I did. Lame.

Usually doordash is decent. Today I got fucked on my order. They sent it to wrong location and sent me a drop off message that it was delivered. When I told them I was standing outside and my food was nowhere then they blamed me for them going to wrong address. How can you get it that wrong when looking at a gps. It literally gives you the gps location and I attach my phone number. Lazy and ignorant.

So far the delivery has been great and on time. now my issue is with customer support. I have recently change my phone number and don't have access to the old number. You can't change the phone number with out getting a text code. I know it says you can have it sent to e-mail but it never comes. I know they have the correct e-mail on file since the tech support team sent me an e-mail. The only other option is to cancel the account. Guess what you can't cancel without a text code. This doesn't even offer the option of an e-mail. THIS IS SO STUPID

The initial quoted time of deliver is routinely wrong. I frequently have had deliveries 45 minutes late. Normally I'm flexible but when I am ordering dinner for our family at the end of a long day and trying to adhere to a kids bedtime schedule, 45 minutes makes a big difference. I choose a restaurant based on the estimated delivery time and when it changes significantly after paying it is very frustrating.
