DoorDash handled my order wrong

I literally ordered food from DoorDash at 5:30 pm I wait for an hour and a half on food the food comes it’s nothing I order literally the only thing right was the case of water. The dasher proceeded to take the food that belong to someone else back to them doesn’t bring my food back at all he says ooh well it’s nothing I can do contact DoorDash. I spent my last on trying to get this food for me and my family. Then DoorDash tells me they will not send someone else back out nor will they redo my order. I have to wait 5-7 business days on a refund when DoorDash messed it up. I will never use them again. They have got to be the worse delivery service ever very disappointed

I will definitely not be using this service again. Driver was told to call because restaurant was out of what I wanted. When he showed up at my house he tried telling me my order was complete. I said there was an item missing, when I finally got him to understand he said he would go back and get it. One hour later I went to restaurant, they explained to me driver was told to call me to order a substitute. I’m a senior and this driver could care less about me. Rubys did substitute my order for me without any help from DoorDash.

Terrible customer service! Half the order was wrong and one item missing. Made me jump through all kinds of hoops to get anything back. Been getting worse and worse. Seems like half the time these days there is some kind of issue that we have to deal with. Canceled my subscription. No reason for me to spend around $16 with tip for a delivery service just to continuously have issues, have to do jump through hoops and take pics and then the app won’t do anything for you so you got to deal with the lousy AI they use to save money, then have it want a pic of the missing item!! I will just go get it and save the money and get the order right far far more often.

We ordered from wing stop and they didn’t have what we wanted, the doordasher then lied to the restaurant and told them that we wanted plain wings? He said that he called us but we never got a call. We then called doordash for a refund and they redirected us to many different numbers driving us in circles to get a simple refund.

Due to the fact I pay for the monthly thing from door dash and they closed a restaurant I ordered from 17 min early is stupid I don't like how that works so that's why I'm giving it a 3 star

Order accepted at noon for pick up and delivery by 12:15 driver never showed up until 12:41 - guess who's food was awful, cold and wish i could remove tip!!!!!! Don't accept order if not willing to show up.

Second time this week, I place an order on the app, stated that I would receive my order within 15 minutes. As soon as I confirmed the time kept changing and became over an hour late by the time it arrived. I paid priority and not to mention the store was three block away. This issue keeps happening and I won't be using this company ever again. They don't have quality control on their dashers and anyone who paid priority is wasting their money. Not worth it. As well, never received the refund promised and they won't refund the amount of the food which I never received because the store accepted the order. Terrible company.

After 2 wrong deliveries I cancelled my DoorDash account but they continued to charge me off of Apple Pay every month. I called again and told them I had canceled and they needed to remove the charges and not charge any more monthly fees. They promised they would but removed the charge for that month only and continued to charge me monthly. I called them again and they insisted that they were not charging me and that Apple Pay had made a mistake. I contacted Apple Pay and they referred me to the bank that processes the payments and the bank investigated and removed the charges. I thought that was the end of the problem, but DoorDash just charged me for last month and this month again. I called DoorDash today and they looked at my record confirming that I had not ordered anything in approximately two years but they had continued to charge me monthly. She did not say anything about my record of previous calls to cancel the account. She promised to remove the last two charges and to cancel my DoorDash account. I’ll just have to wait and see, but I wanted to worn others how difficult it is to cancel this service. This company should be investigated for fraud.

Doordash has brought the wrong food to me twice that was also cold. has brought drinks to me half empty from spilling all over the bag. They are always late. So expensive for nothing.....

This company is horrible do not use them , they had allowed a driver to use foul language and refused to give me the food I , literally had to argue with the delivery person in front of my place of work. my order was for 113.00 , I called to get support from them and received none . They need to be reported to the better business bureau department. You spends of lot of money on fees and delivery then they tells you that you cannot get a refund, I didn’t receive no of the beverage with my order they are a complete mess.

I had a missing item in my panda express order. Customer service gave me a 15% refund that would arrive in 10-12 business days(the same day I ordered). It’s now been 27 days and I’ve received no refund. I called again(now 3 or more times) and its believed that my refund may have not been initiated…The last time I called, a rep confirmed it appeared that the refund was processing. I asked her to send me an email of status proof, she said she did but I didn’t receive anything. Now I have to wait another 10-12 days to see what happens.

They will completely rip you off. I was charged $52 and some change for my order but when my order was delivered the receipt stated that my order was $25 and some change.

Placed an order, they deliverd wrong items. They will only provide a refund up to 25% of the order total and 0% of any fees and 0% of any tips. I bought 2 pizzas and had them delivered and paid a tip and delivery fees. 1 of the pizzas was wrong 52% of my order total. Doordash said they will submit my request for review but that is policy and please expect an email response in 12 business days. I told them it is my policy to report bad service to my circle so they think twice before ordering. 🤔😐👎

Absolutely unacceptable experiences. Today again my order was delivered to the wrong address, and when I contacted the driver, they were incredibly rude and dismissive — no apology, no effort to fix their mistake. It was clear they didn’t care at all about providing even basic service. To make matters worse, DoorDash customer service was no help whatsoever. No real apology, no compensation, and no attempt to make things right or retain me as a customer. It felt like they couldn’t care less that I wasted my time and money. Totally disgusting experience. After this, I won’t be using DoorDash again — and I won’t recommend it to anyone.

My son's lunch order was placed for delivery by 12:20 PM, coinciding with his lunch break. At approximately 12:14 PM, DoorDash notified me of the order's cancellation. Consequently, I advised my son to proceed to the nearest fast-food restaurant. Despite this, DoorDash proceeded to remake the order without my authorization. DoorDash should not remake or reorder an item without prior customer approval. Fix your system
