“I love doordash, order often. For all you folks leaving nasty reviews, please know that, drivers have no control over what time a merchant decides to prep our orders or when doordash decides to send the order to the driver. All they do is pick up and deliver our food. They do t make it. They have to make a living and your bad review could cause a single parent for example to lose employment, over something they literally, have no control over. Be fair. It's just food. Stop being nasty. Take your concern up where it belongs. Some of you people probably don't even tip. Shame on you. If your driver is setting at the merchant after pickup time, you chose a merchant who doesn't care what time the order said it was due by. Stop being evil.”

“I love doordash, order all the time, and hope everyone dropping negative ratings realize drivers have absolutely 0 control over your order processing time, that's the restaurants doing. They make the food & on their own time. Not the driver. Also, they have no control over when an order is sent to them that, is doordash themself. Doordash controls when an order is sent to a driver and it isn't always timely. Stop leaving bad reviews for things you don't understand. It's wrong. These people have to make a living and could lose their job over a merchant or doordash short coming. Be fair. It's food, not a brain surgery people. Grow up!”

“Food was delivered on time. I ordered from a restaurant in another town so the food was on the cooler side but still tastes good. I did a scheduled order rather than an ASAP. I think this makes a difference.”

“I was shocked to read all the negative reviews. I ordered Chinese food. It was delivered hot and good about 30 minutes later. They even texted me on the progress of the order.”

“DoorDash has the worst customer service experience! I was really sick with a baby at home. I placed an order for delivery and notated “Enter through the side gate” the delivery guy calls and says he’s in the front. I told him I was sick with a baby and if I have to come down stairs it will take a while. I told him to come to the side street where there’s plenty of parking. He said he couldn’t because his leg was messed up. He stated that it’s not his job to come upstairs. DoorDash called me and I explained everything. They stated they will tell the driver to come upstairs but I never heard back and I never received my food. I called the customer service line and spent 20 min explaining everything and they told me to contact the restaurant. I asked for a sup and the rep refused. Then after 20 min a so called sup said he will call me from his phone line and I still haven’t gotten a call back”

“This door dash thing is awesome! I can order absolutely anything I want free delivery on tons of restaurants. Very nice drivers. My orders are always correct. It's fast it's easy!! Who ever invented this smooches to you!”

“Love Doordash. But the APP is NOT working properly. My wife made an order earlier today, 12/14/19. The APP gave us an estimated arrival time. Then the APP said the dasher is running late. Then we got notification that the dasher was approaching. Same thing just happened like 20 minutes ago. App said dasher picked the food up and gave us an estimated arrival time. Then the APP said the dasher is running behind, which said arrival time like 2AM. Like Waffle House don't deliver, at least not here. Then we got a notification saying the dasher is approaching. APP is off”

“I drive an 18 wheeler and bever had a problem getting food delivered to my truck! Tonight I was stuck at a rest area having a oversize permitted load. I was able to get food delivered to me! The customer service was 100% great and the driver was amazing. I added cash tip because of the hastle of no actual physical address for the rest stop. Only a near by physical address.”

“I AM A DASHER ORDERING THROUGH DOORDASH IS A PRICEY SERVICE! DRIVERS DEPEND ON TIPS TO MAKE A PROFIT! CUSTOMERS WHO DON'T TIP WILL BE LAST PRIORITY! YOU WANT GOOD SERVICE MAYBE YOU SHOULD STOP BEING SO CHEAP AND GO GET YOUR OWN FOOD! PLAIN AND SIMPLE IF YOU DONT TIP YOU ARE AT THE BOTTOM OF THE LIST THERE YOU HAVE IT!”

“I am a doordash driver. This is a pricey service to use. You get the convenience of us delivering your food to your door. My ratings are almost perfect. The people who complain the most never gives us tips and always such a far distance for us to drive delivering their food. We dash in the rain,sleet, and snow to deliver your food. Let me also mention most of the times the restaurants are super slow especially ordering from fast foods which even take longer than the traditional eat-in diner!! Did I fail to mention parking downtown is a disaster when there's absolutely no where to park!!! Sometimes we have to pay and have even gotten tickets on our vehicles. Delivery apps are pricey so I suggest to you do it yourself if you can't afford it. I once got an $80 order and got a $0 tip so if you want an perfect order I suggest you go get it yourself!!!”

“The people giving the 1 star reviews probably don't understand what's happening. As a driver, when I get an order for something that has no tip or a low tip, I decline. Most drivers will decline it as well because we make our money with tips, not by bringing food for the bare minimum delivery pay which is often less than 3 dollars for us, and barely covers the gas to deliver and nothing for our time. You're charged more than that but the driver isn't getting that, they get paid through tips. Folks, if you can't afford to tip and tip well, you probably shouldn't be using the service. As far as the order being correct, often when I pick up food, the restaurant has sealed the bag it's in and I can't see it to check it. But, if not I always check to make sure it is what I am shown is ordered. I have seen orders though where what I see is the order and what the customer actually ordered are different, again, not my fault. Also, make sure you give the correct address. We can't bring your food to you if you gave us the wrong address. Also make sure you give instructions for difficult to find addresses like in apartments. Help us find you and we'll all be happier, especially at night when it's nearly impossible to see addresses from the street.”
