They overcharge for delivery. And the food never comes on time (mostly it takes 90 minutes when they promise 48-52 minutes, and sometimes it has taken 2 hours - if you're hungry and want food to come on time, don't use this service). The last straw: The food just didn't arrive. So I complained, and then they said they couldn't find the driver. They ended up giving me a refund and just a $5 credit, after ruining my whole dinner).

I ordered from Door dash once & they forgot items & gave me a wrong order. I complained to them and they gave me a credit....so I tried again and they left out some of my order AND gave me the wrong order again. 2 different restaurants too the drivers don't check orders or ensure they do business with reputable businesses. I only gave 2 stars because they at least show up.

Have been really disappointed with DoorDash lately. Food cold, not even warm, $6 delivery charge and additional $2 for service fee then you need to tip the driver on top of food being pricier than going in. I get it you pay for convenience but this seems a little, lot, excessive. Will try out Uber eats.

I have to express the disappointment in doordash the last several times we have used this service. While this is a great concept and has saved us in time and effort many times in the past, the service has been slowly declining. This is not reflective of the drivers, but perhaps the lack of doordash's and the restaurants ability to meet the increased demand of orders. Last night our food came to us completely ice cold and incorrect. The only reprieve was a $5 credit? That does not even cover the cost of all the cold food. We ordered 6 meals! Previously, the dasher called me to tell me that the restaurant had not received my order and the time before that, we were missing a food item! There needs to be better quality control, checks and balances...as this is not only affecting the reputation of doordash but if the restaurants.

I e been using Door Dash for well over a year on a very regular basis. They make so many mistakes that I don't even bother complaining anymore when they spill drinks or forget items. It's a regular thing. Now I'm not using Door Dash at all because the price of delivery has skyrocketed beyond anything reasonable. It used to be a few bucks for delivery. Now they added a service fee on top of the delivery charge on top of tipping the driver so now it costs upwards of $25 or more just for the delivery fee. It's a no go.

I have ordered from Oishi on Nov 12th and the experience is really horrible. I placed the order at 5:24pm and the schedule deliver time is 6:25pm. I got a text at 6:26pm saying the dasher is waiting in the restaurant. I called the restaurant to see what the delay is and they said they have just received the order 20mins ago. My ordered had finally arrived at 7:25pm (An hour late). The dasher gave me the food and said that everything is in the bag, when I open it and found that 2 items are missing. I called the dasher back and he said the restaurant told him everything is in the bag and I asked if he has count it, he just kept saying the restaurant told him everything is in the bag. I called the restaurant and they told me that they count with the dasher together and everything should be right. the restaurant said it is ok for the dasher to come back and pick it up. I called the dasher back and he said he have 2 deliver order now and he will go back after that, and it might take an hour or two. I get really frustrated. I went on the app and put that items are missing and need re-delivery asap. The message came back saying someone will look at this in 1-2 days. My friend ended up going to pick it up herself and I got a call from another dasher saying he went to pick up the missing item and someone else has picked it up already. Here are the problems: How come I put in the order at 5:24pm but the restaurant said they didn't get it till 6:20pm? The delivery was ended up late for an hour. When there are missing items, I have to do all the calling and it is really frustrating. I didn't know the system will automatically send another dasher to pick up the missing item, I wish it can be communicate better. I got charged $1.99 service fee for the 2nd delivery, this is not my fault and I'm being charge???

I ordered 3 entrees, 2/3 were incorrect (i received cheaper versions of what i paid for)--> same order without meat and shrimp.

Have been using DoorDash for 3+ months. Have REALLY tried to love it since I just moved from Shanghai and enjoy the convenience of home delivery. Unfortunately, they have messed up too many times and I will never order from them again. They have messed up orders on multiple occasions, and twice never even delivered my order. Tonight was the second time they showed a "Delivered" status but no food came. Their customer service folks also never respond, so you're left in the dark. Do yourself a favor, don't use Doordash. They suck.

They charge a service fee and delivery fee, and plus delivery tip. Also, the delivery time got delayed.

They upcharge prices so much. Was ordering for a local pizza place and they prices were 25-30% higher through door dash. Be sure to check before ordering. Have had good and bad experiences, but the upcharging is ridiculous when they're charging delivery fee and you pay tip for driver. Tried grub Hub instead since their prices were the same as the restaurant.

I had a card from you when you first started doing deliveries. It was good for a free delivery. The food was delivered on time, in fact the girl who brought it was deaf, which I thought was good that you employ disabled people. When I received my order there was a charge on it for a few dollars for delivery. I had no way of contacting you to let you know that. I even gave the woman a tip. What was I supposed you? I haven't used your service since that occurrence.

I ordered my soup around 820am and delivery was set for 920am. The app showed that the order was received by the restaurant and being prepared. THEN for the next hour and half, no progress was made. After 920 came and went, I reached out to my dasher #1 Zacher, who told me he just received the order around 950 and was now on his way. 950am came and went, so I texted him again and asked if this delivery was still coming as I had to get ready for work. No answer. I texted again asking for an ETA and a new dasher #2 replied. His name was Gerald and he just logged on and received my order. Apparently Dasher #1 cancelled the pick up with our notifying me after an hour and half of waiting for him. Dasher #2 actually called and apologized but said he was on the way and got my food to me in less than 20 minutes. Dasher #1 should be fired. Door dash, you need to not allow pick ups to be canceled by the designated dasher or give us an option to cancel the order, so we can get timely food thats not an hour late and cold. Cold SOUP SUCKS!

Being a full time professional and also a busy Mom, me and my husband have been generally ordering dinners 2-3 times a week through Doordash for a while now. Initially the service was great and the delivery was always on time, which is great since we get a variety of restaurant food without the overhead of going out. Unfortunately, about 4-6 months ago, we had a streak of late deliveries (~30 minutes) and/or food came cold/messed up (think the food container hit the floor board). We lost confidence for a bit and did not use their service. Recently, we tried them again and service seems to be recovered for the last month or so (and we started ordering regularly from them again), until we experienced our worst experience tonight. I placed my order and got ETA of ~1-1.25 hours for delivery. I got notification about 45 minutes later that my order was picked up at the restaurant (less than 5 minutes away). Well, an hour after that, the kids were starving and the food was no where to be found. I frantically tried to call and chat support and barely got through when the driver showed up. The food was cold and the milkshake was all melted. The driver claimed that the restaurant messed up the order and insisted that he picked up the food only 20 minutes ago. I didn't buy that. At the end, I was offered $15 credit for my $46 order. For a long time customer, not only was the delivery experience frustrating, but I thought despite the apologies from Support, it was an underwhelming customer service experience as well.

I initially received excellent service until a few issues most recently. It was handled well until the last delivery where I was give. A credit of 6.50 for two issues In a row. My friend was visiting from out of town and wanted breakfast. We ordered Denny's. And the first order was cold and not the complete order. I called your customer service and they were very responsive. I got the second order and it was the incorrect order again. I sent an email to your customer service to get 6.50 credit. Absolutely not acceptable. Waited half a day for nothing. I'm now using another service because of the terrible 6.50 event.

The problem with door dash is the limited hours. Iasbwell as the lack of real time monitoring - like Postmates. I tried door dash - once - and after not being able to order before 11:30am or after a certain hour - I searched for another app ---> Postmates is better - they are 24/7. They will pickup and deliver anything. You are going to have a hard time while they are around and growing.

need additional capabilities on the app. For instance, I would want to sort through restaurants by type or by estimated time to arrive. Additionally, the flat delivery sounds like a good, simple value proposition but there are other apps (grubhub, seamless, etc) where you can get delivery from those same locations for less than the flat fee for DoorDash. Also, the bike delivery person coming up to your door with a smooshed bag of your delivery doesn't denote a quality experience that I would have expected. Not really sure what the competitive edge for this app is relative to the others in the marketplace.
