What a shambles! DPD should be ashamed of themselves. No Xmas prezzie for my daughter after phoning relentlessly (seems they never answer calls as i was on hold almost an hour) emailed them on 22nd and nothing. Received an email in response on 27th to say parcel lost as its never been scanned since 23rd and it would be down to me to have the matter investigated. Lies somewhere as i had visited their depot on Xmas eve in an attempt to retrieve my parcel in time for Xmas and was told it was already out for delivery! How can they lose parcels overnight. Dreadful company definately the worst i have used to date and they clearly do not care about their customers.

Like others I would review as minus if I could. I ordered a delivery from Samsung which arrived 3 days later than expected as it was held at the depot for an unknown reason after I had tracking information to say it would be delivered that day between a certain time. Hours after the time has gone they had said it was changed to tomorrow and I would have an updated time before 1pm. I never received an updated time so instead changed the parcel to pick up at the shop as it was closer to the depot so should be easier. After finally picking up the parcel as it arrived so late I sent this back. It is now 3 weeks since I took this to the DPD shop and the parcel has gone missing. DPD are impossible to contact through phone and email and I am being refused a refund as they haven't received the parcel. Thank goodness for credit card refund protection. In future I will not be buying from anywhere that uses DPD

Absolutely dreadful company they tell lies and cover up their mistakes. I arranged for a parcel to be delivered next day from Darlington to Haddington, I was told adverse weather on 23/12/17 caused no delivery, hmmm strange I know that was a bright sunny day. Perhaps the glint from the road affected the driving, when I asked about it via a human 27/12/17 I was informed next day didn’t cover Saturday delivery and they had no staff anyway. Come on guys if you are going to lie then at at least all of you tell the same lie. DO NOT USE DPD LOCAL.

I have ordered item from gearbest which hass ben handeld by DPD UK on 26.11. It supposed to be a christmas present for my parents. Till now the tracking number (5998599211) has not been updated and the item is since 26.11. a Southall. I have contacted several times the DPD UK customer support service, but till now novebody was able to provide me update about my shippment. I have bough more then 150 items from many places, but I have never waited for my item for so long. For me big disapoitment, I hope that all my futures goods will be sent by different company than UK DPD.

I wish if I could give them no star at all. I am a new seller at Amazon and made a big mistake of sending my parcel through DPD. After a couple of weeks, Customer raised complaint through Amazon and he was refunded the amount and Amazon suspended my seller account due to these issues and me being a new seller. When I inquired through DPD, I was informed my parcel is still at the local collection point. No apology and rather I was advised to collect it from the location and try to resend again as new parcel. Absolutely rubbish service. I’ll put this on Facebook and LinkedIn. I will also go to every feedback forum and give this over there. Riz

If i could give zero stars I would. Appalling customer service. Drivers who lie about delivering, sign for parcel themselves. Disgusting company who don't give a damn about there customers.

parcel meant to be delivered to a local shop morning of 22nd dec , still not arrived . tracker says its still in transit. no Xmas present for son really the worst company to deal with..should be ashamed

Awful service. Online app says they've tried to deliver and left card but all lies. When I call Peterborough staff lie and say it's out for delivery the next day but again it doesn't happen. Staff don't care about their customers!

when DPD first started out they were one of the best but now they are one of the worst and don’t see them being around much longer as the big companies who use them will eventually stop using them.Drivers are incapable of carrying out simple instructions such as delivery to neighbour-Customer service are shocking and rude and that’s after you have waited 30 plus minutes on the phone.The DPD phone app is inaccurate and has to many flaws if I could give them zero stars I would. Note: If your waiting on a package out of the Dartford ( Kent ) depo then pray you don’t get “Dwight” as your parcels driver this guy says he has attempted delivery but never leaves a calling card so he probably never comes at all So avoid him like the plague.

Absolutely dispicable company! When I asked them to deliver to my neighbour as I was going to be out, they tried to deliver to me instead and now the parcel has gone missing in the system. Do not bother trying to call them either, as no one is actually at the other end, it's a deception and I was waiting over an hour and no answer, even when the automated message said call times were more than 5 minutes after 5 minutes! They ignore emails and leave you completely in the dark about if and when your parcel will ever be delivered! This company must be breaking the law somewhere and I shall be reporting them to trading standards. Unfortunately I ordered from Apple and did not get the choice of courier, I would NEVER EVER use them and would recommend to everyone to avoid them at all costs! Unless you like being messed around and having many hours of your time wasted waiting for a parcel that may never come and never being able to communicate with a human!

Where is my package I paid for amzon prime it was meant to be delivered 4 days ago? I have now sat on the phone for over 40 minutes when I should be enjoying my spare time with my children yesterday your site said my parcel was out for delivery now it's back at your Dagenham depot what the hell is this I don't understand how your company is doing this to so many customers?? Your reviews are terrible your causing business to have bad reviews because of the lack or no service you are providing my children do not have there Christmas toy now because of your ridiculous delivery system I will be posting this over the internet now and making people aware of how you work, you shouldn't be allowed to say you are "delivery experts" it's a complete joke and lie. I hate using your company causes me stress and a wastes my time on every order! I'm keeping proof of everything and will be sending this to my self thanks for ruining the few days I get off with my family over the Christmas period as I'm sitting on the phone or checking for updates so Merry Christmas DPD thanks not delivering one of the present that my children put on their list and they will be expecting Christmas morning

DPD local driver in Merthyr - hope you’re happy with your haul of goods you’ve had. I’ve heard from lots of people who’ve had items go missing over Christmas. My item was due to arrive on the 19th December. It never came - I received a notification to say that my request to change my address had been accepted yet I never requested an address change. The change to the address was the same as the delivery address originally given and the parcel would now be delivered on the 20th. Waited in again on the 20th and kept tracking my parcel. It didn’t arrive during the time slot given but the tracking said that I was next so I stayed on the doorstep and waited. No DPD local delivery van came. I then received a notification to say that the delivery couldn’t be made as my address was incomplete!!! I now had the option for the parcel to be delivered to our local Matalan store so I chose that. Had an email to say that the parcel would be available from the 21st... and now the parcel has gone missing. The sender has requested a parcel search (I tried to contact DPD but as their customer service is so atrocious I couldn’t get in touch with anyone!!!) and I’ve been told it can take up to 7 days to complete a parcel search. I could tell them in less than a minute where my parcel is... still on the back of the delivery drivers van waiting for a post Christmas boot sale or sat under their Christmas tree wrapped up as a gift!!! Cheers DPD local for your AWFUL customer service!

Everything went wrong... missed the day of delivery because parcel was ‘misdirected’, I received no one hour delivery slot, it was eventually sent to the wrong address and person, customer service was appalling and unhelpful, the driver was sent to retrieve it, and he advised me that at least 5 other packages that day had been misdirected to wrong addresses that he needed to retrieve and re-deliver. Dreadful experience.

Got a very unhappy child here been waiting for her phone since the 13th hope the driver is happy with his new phone or the cash he as made from it I will never use them NOT TO BE TRUSTED

For three attempts I have waited for DPD to arrive an uplift a package. Three days waiting for a courier who doesn't arrive. One of the worst courier companies out there.

My order for fresh poultry and meat was supposed to be delivered today. I received a message this morning saying the one hour time slot would be between 11am and 12pm. The DPD app, on my iPhone confirmed this time until 11.45 when it said that I would be the next delivery and the tracking map on the app had the driver located about a mile from my house. Great, as I was due to go out for lunch at 12.30am. 12pm came and the parcel had not been delivered. I checked the app again to be informed that the parcel could not be delivered today due to 'bad weather'. The vehicle was - apparently a mile away from me a quarter of an hour ago and the weather was drizzly and grey, which is pretty much normal for the UK in December. No snow - no ice - just a lie or an excuse - I imagine the food for my Christmas dinner is sat in their Birmingham depot! I shall in future avoid on-line purchases from companies which use this company. Guess it's a case of you get what you pay for, but personally I'd prefer to pay extra for a competent courier.
