Gurpreet was on his way to drop my amazon package but sent a notification no one in to sign for parcel and says he left a calling card. This courier lied as no calling card left and CCTV showed NO delivery being made. Checked the location of the calling card shows "oldbury" but my address is Kings Norton. Either the driver can't read English or to lazy to actually do his job properly. So I thought rather wait for another non-delivery I cancelled the order and advised amazon uk to cancel any contract they have with dpd as they are the new yodel. Dpd - DPDont Deliver! Just like Über no telephone customer service available - THIS COURIER SERVICE NEEDS TO BE REMOVED ALONG WITH UBER BUNCH OF USELESS EGOTISTICAL RETARDS!

Paid £28 for next day delivery on Friday. It’s sunday today and they f***** saying larval will deliver on Monday into my business premises. Lost £500 customs just because their bullshit services. I wish I can give them -100 stars

Useless to say the least!....parcel ordered by express delivery on Monday 18/9/17 for a commitment on Saturday 23/9/17....simple delivery from London to Nottingham,but on checking tracking app,saw it had been to Southampton, Hinckley,and Lincoln!.....customer service state the tracking had not been updated and parcel was now "lost in the system "!.... Just under sixty pounds wasted and now extra expense will be incurred for the commitment on Saturday 23/9/17......DPD have spoilt things big time due to unforgivable incompetence on their part.

Got a message saying that driver was unable to deliver. Checked the picture and it was a street 0.5miles away. No door bell, no call, “pretended” to be unable to deliver. Lazy and and very unprofessional drivers. Try to avoid.

Do not use DPD. They failed to deliver a next day delivery parcel. So I called to arrange collection as the parcel was needed that day. We drive 70 miles to collect (and 70 miles back) from feltham depot to be told, 'oh, we put it in the van by mistake'. So it was not there. I complained to DPD complaints department to be told 'there is nothing we can do'. Unacceptable

I wish i could give zero stars to this company as they don't even deserve one. I've had problems with this company on every occasion they were involved in the delivery of a parcel. Their drivers will every possible way to avoid getting the parcel to you - from making up lies, record false information on their trackers, take pictures of different houses to pretend they've been to your property you name it they will do it all. There were even times i paid extra to have an evening delivery the driver came in the morning left it with a neighbour and when I checked the tracking service at 5pm it was still saying the parcel was on its way. I try avoiding companies that use them but I recently ordered from John Lewis didn't even know they use them and the same thing happen the driver said that i wasn't in when i was in the entire day. After writing a complaint to them they apologised and upgraded my delivery to a specific slot today between 10:39-11:39am as you can imagine the parcel still not with me and when i emailed them back they didn't even bother responding it's appalling. I don't know if the workers in this company are just purely evil or they hate their jobs or they hate people in general because nothing can justify the lack of respect and consideration for the customers whose orders pay for their salaries it's repulsive.

i was due to have my parcel delivered on Monday 18th September as i was not in i emailed them to say that leave my parcel in a safe place i live in a 3 story flat so they came to deliver but made an excuse to say that they came they emailed me a picture to show they showed up which they did i told them to ring a different buzzer number so my neighbour can let them in so after seeing this i got another email to say my parcel would be delivered on Tuesday 19th September which also failed i got emails and texts to say it would be delivered for 11.44 to 12.44 which clearly wasn't later i got a email saying the delivery is running late and will deliver by 6 at 3 o'clock i got a further email to say that they had been and i wasn't at home which i was at home and kept an eye out for them as i knew they were coming then i rang them up to Enquire on my parcel the man i spoke to me said i have parcels which are not due for delivery just yet i said yes that's right but this is a different parcel to my other ones which was due for next day delivery he then gave me a different number to call so i did just that and the man i spoke to was rude to me and told me the driver had a break down when he couldn't have if he had already been i was also told by the first man i spoke to that the number he gave me was the delivery drivers number no names mentioned when i asked him is this your name and are you the DPD driver he laughed at me and said S**** HAD A BREAK DOWN but will still be delivering but i caught all their lies because this driver wasn't evan from the same city or their office and dont trust them at all or their services absolutely APPAULLING. DPD have got to be the worst experience i have had with deliveries and parcels they also sent me a blank picture through email to say they had been and no one was in another big lie they have done this to me on more than one occasion and now they tell me it will be delivered tomorrow which i doubt very much just a BIG time waste worst EVER service i wouldn't even rate them 1 star!

Shocking customer service. I Ordered a part to fix my leaking boiler (water still dripping) and got sent a time slot from Dpd of 10.30 to 11.30. I rushed home for 10.15 to find out they were early and now I have to wait another day for the part to arrive. So no hot water or heating and still leaking and as the plumber is due today I also have to pay him! Can't speak to a real person when you call For and website is as useless as the time slot I was given. Why can't the drivers re-deliver the same day like other company's do? Especially when it was your mistake!

15th September 2017: Ordered some stuff from John Lewis for delivery. They chose to use DPD to deliver. Received text and email confirming a 1 hour time slot for the delivery. Waited long before and after the time period. Then i get a message saying the driver tried to deliver but nobody was there to receive the delivery, which was a complete lie. Then I chose to receive the item from a DPD shop. DPD accepted the request but they chose not to deliver at the shop next instead deliver at the house. Another time time slot for deliver was given again but nobody turned up. Then I called John Lewis to complain and request that it gets delivered as there was plenty of working hours remaining. When John Lewis spoke to them they said they cant deliver again and somehow it was my fault for requesting the delivery to the shop. Why give me that option at the first place? 2 days wasted now. Have to wait for tomorrow and see what happens. I would't recommend DPD at all to anyone. I occasionally used to send parcels using DPD but now i know what they are like. They will lie and not care about wasting your time. 17th September 2017 Update to the review; After complaining to John Lewis on Friday, DPD offered to deliver it on Saturday free of charge and I was re-assured it will come to me on Saturday 16th in the morning before mid day! And I would also get a call from the driver with the ETA! But to no avail, DPD failed to deliver again on Saturday. Waited all day. Complained to JL again and they said to go and pick up from the DPD depot. I had not much option but to do this as DPD proved themselves incompetent again and again for a simple delivery. Luckily i was able to pick it up from the depot without too much surprise. The guy at he counter couldn't believe how bad service i received for this parcel.

They onfoward to Fastway for deliveries to Australia, who are well known for being the probably the worst carrier in the country. This alone nets them a zero star rating from me. Just stop trading. PLEASE.

Dreadful Parcel Delivery service, aka DPD: usual story - received delivery time slot; was home with carer present during allotted time slot; received email saying delivery not possible because nobody home!! Wtf!!?? Rang customer disservice to be told that redelivery would happen within the hour. 3hours later i phoned again to be told of redelivery between 3.30 & 4.30 - explained i'd be out then & was told to leave signed note on back door so driver can collect it when he delivers. Did as requested & came back at 6.30 to find no delivery & my same note all soggy & rainsoaked still attached to window!! Deliriously pathetic drivers! Hopeless & pathetic company at every touch!

This company is rubbish ,to get round the online tracking they said i had signed for the parcel and taken delivery when they did not even come. Rang them up to listen to 8 minutes of a musical headache before they answered ,then promised to deliver first thing in the morning and as to date still not arrived .Anyone thinking of using DPD do not bother and i though parcel force was bad .

On more than one occasion they have delivered my parcel to COMPLETELY the wrong address, and have never re-delivered. They have also sent me a photo of my house saying that no-one was in to sign....I am in the window in the photo, waiting for my delivery!!! WORST delivery company ever

Absolutely the worst company to deal with. First day didn't even bother to try and contact me when they arrived - only got texts after they had left. In fairness, I wasn't in but my neighbor was expecting it. They said they'd try again tomorrow so I stayed in the whole day. When my slot came about, no show. When I called they said it was still on its way and then at the end of the day, they said we tried but there was no answer - BS!! When I spoke to them again about this, they basically said come pick it up from us, before 4pm. WISH I HAD A JOB I COULD JUST LEAVE AT WHENEVER I WANTED TO GET PLACES AT 4-BLOODY-PM - MAYBE I SHOULD GET A JOB AS ONE OF THEIR USELESS STAFF. I don't know why any company uses these guys - actively going to be avoiding companies that only offer delivery using these donkeys.

Parcel was set to be delivered by TIM yesterday (12/09/2017) between 17:04 and 18:04. Tim arrived outside the house around 17:30, checked in the back of his van and drove off without delivering. Alarm bells ringing. Next I track the parcel again and it says it will be delivered between 18:00 and 22:00 (yesterday). Needless to say that didn't happen. Now the parcel says: Your parcel has arrived at our Clyst Honiton depot ready for delivery. More like you guys have lost yet another parcel I urgently required.

The package they delivered was fragile, the contents were broken, the box was tapped up were it looked as if they had dropped it. I think Dpd stands for Dopey parcel deliveries.

I agree with all the bad reviews. No attemp of delivery and it was returned to depot. In the tracking system said it will be delivered on the day between 6am to 10pm. I was at home for the whole day! Avoid companies using DPD if you need the goods on time. Would give negative star if it's available!
