Took the day off today to be in for an important delivery that needed was needed for today witch the reason I got next day delivery by 1pm and had a person to come later on in the day to install it, at 12:58 it shown online that they attempted to deliver but no one was in and a card was left with no dpd van drove past my house or left a card and the picture they put online to show your house was a black screen now I won't be in the next day to collect my parcel due to the drivers who can't do there job properly it's the last time I'll be using dpd and I think it's time they need to start doing something about it as the amount of bad reviews they have all over the internet

Driver drove past my house, delivered to the wrong address and got it illegally signed for.

Dreadful experience, my fiancé took a day off to wait for a parcel we desperately needed. I received an email at work to say dpd had missed us and they would try again tomorrow. No one came to my house and no. Are has been left. Tried to call customer service and when I got through, I was instantly hung up on before I could speak. Called again to which some girl was just saying hello? Hello? Hello? Called back again and finally got through to someone. I now have to go and collect the parcel from a depot 4 miles away. I am fully expecting to get there and my parcel will not be there. Awful company I wish the big online companies would stop using such an awful service.

I have never experienced anything worse than the service at Dpd. Twice they tried to deliver to wrong adresses sending me a picture of a warehouse saying no one was in. Then when you try and contact them all you can get through to is a robot that can only answer 3 questions not direct you to a number which might be more useful. I had to get Asos to co fact Dpd in order to get through to them even then they still won’t give me a time my parcel will be here by and my tracking number has just disappeared! Such a terrible company.

When the delivery man came he did not knock the door and took a picture of the front of the house. I paid to have it re- delivered next day at a cost of 5.00. No calling card was left and they claimed the delivery man came back and took a picture of the house, after the request for re-delivery. Bad service, rude customer services, liars and cheats.

DPD,where you can expect NO delivery If there was a zero review I would give them that. If you value your parcel, don't use DPD , my parcel seems to have been lost or stolen by someone at DPD. It was only travelling from Dundee to Birmingham.. Ringing their customer services is a complete waste of time especially when you get a message from their mgr/director stating not to be abusive to their staff. Its ok for them to lose your parcel but stay happy. Their is no accountability/liability on their part, there is no Supervisor or manager to speak to or get updates from. An investigation takes 3-5 working days, everything is kept inhouse so you dont actually know if they investigate anything or just sweep it under the carpet. Absolute joke of a company and judging by the reviews on here its the norm with them. I unfortunately had no option as parcel was sent by a third party who use Dpd ,but if you value your parcel, your time then maybe have a serious think about who you use,if anything goes wrong don't expect any sympathy or resolution. Maybe DPD should consider getting a complaints department,im sure it will be kept busy enough. If you look online at their reviews on most sites, they get 1 star, says it all

COMPLAINT 1 Received email 15.11.18 informing me parcel delivery was scheduled for 19.11.18 Would be informed of 1 hour time slot when van loaded. No further correspondence received. Tel’d DPD 20.11.18 @ 17.09 to query parcel whereabouts. Was informed the job had been subcontracted, ‘no longer DPD’s responsibility to inform of time slot’. We live in rural Perthshire. Said contractor had indeed driven up our drive a short time before I telephoned DPD. I had assumed he had done so in error, as often happens, went outside to speak to him, was alongside the vehicle when he promptly took off again down our drive. Frustration - my parcel had just disappeared! If memory serves me correctly the parcel was delivered the following day - or possibly 2 days later. I was out, it was left at the front door, not signed for. COMPLAINT 2 Returned from 3 day New Year break 02.01.19, parcel approx 175 cms long propped up at front door. Possible it had been there since 31.12.18. Tel’d DPD following day. By 09.01.19 we still had the parcel and no word from DPD. Checked package, mobile number! Tel’d intended recipient who came to collect and who had made attempts to locate parcel from DPD to no avail. Whether the 2 deliveries were carried out by DPD or by subcontractors makes no difference. The responsibility is with DPD.

I wish there was a zero star button, because DPD doesn't even deserve a one star!!! I've had this happen multiple times, living at various locations around London - If the driver is running behind schedule, they simply won't deliver your order and make some or other lie up like they were unable to gain access to your property. I refuse to buy anything from any company that uses DPD. I suggest you do the same.

I promise I will never use DPD again. when I order form a company I will ask the company not to use DPD. They seem to have a habit of not delivering your items due to tiny details. My parcel was addressed to my office but DPD didn't deliver because it didn't have the company name on it - why did it not prompt this when I filled out the form so angry. Will never use this company again.

DPD always used to be reliable but not it seems any more. Today, to problems. Firstly, they have managed to not deliver a parcel to me but instead shove it through the letterbox of my next door neighbour who is not in (so it cannot be retrieved). The driver posted a sorry we missed you note through the door and then ran off. I caught him and only then did he confess he put it through the wrong door. Would have been nice if (a) he'd read the delivery address correctly, (b) not shoved the item through a small letterbox; (c) when realising the mistake bothered to ring my doorbell to explain rather than pretend I was out. Second, they were supposed to deliver another item today (spent the whole day waiting). I randomly decide to check on the website given the mess up with the other item and no hour time slot and the website says 'as requested' the item will now be delivered the next day instead. Upon chasing up the company it was ordered from it appears that DPD failed to load it hence this issue. Poor show DPD. You are starting to look more like Yodel every day now!

Took day off work to receive an important and valuable delivery.....missed time slot...chased it up - took over 30 mins to get through to customer services only to be told that they could not trace the ref number and I must contact the sender...so how is it that I was informed about the delivery slot and how is it that the parcel can now not be tracked or found. This is going to take some time to sort out - my time and my expense ! DPD are just totally unreliable and it appears dishonest. Their customer services is a total waste of time and they do not seem to care. I will never use DPD again or buy from any company that employs them. Why would any reputable company use DPD with their awful track record and attitude towards customers and clients?

Sat in all morning for parcel. The company claims they tried to deliver but we were out and left a card! They did not attend and no card was left. Terrible service

Terrible service. DPD delivered my bike box back to me after it was refurbished. Unfortunately they damaged it in transit, then refused to help with collection for repair. They have this policy (presumably designed to limit their liability) that any claim must be made by their customer - the sender (who may not be the recipient). But in this instance the sender was of the view that they'd done their job and it wasn't they problem. The upshot is I spent over £100 on refurbishing my bike box but now its damaged agin - all thanks to DPD. Best avoid them.

Got an ETA @9:30 am saying delivery expected between 3 + 4 that day. I left instruction to leave parcel in porch or with a particular neighbour ( next door). I stopped the delivery driver on the road at 12:30 with all my ID available and he refused to give it to me . And told me he would leave in porch . 3:07 my ring doorbell was activated and DPD there told him to leave in porch and he refused saying it needed a signature and he walked away didn’t even bother trying my neighbour telling me it was going back to depot. I called at the depot and was told I wouldn’t be getting that parcel from them even though I had full ID on me. Also like another customer the driver put a nice bright red callling card into the frame of a bright white front door with a perfectly working letter box in the middle of it ,letting every torag that happens to come past know I’m not in .

I have read that DPD have received awards for their 500 strong Customer Services (Experiences !!??) Team !!! If a 'service' as terrible as theirs can win awards this must undermine the whole award credibility. It beggars belief and is like giving MBE s to the Great Train Robbers !

***ZERO STARS **** ZERO STARS ***ZERO STARS***ZERO STARS *** ZERO STARS* I received a parcel from Cadbury's delivered by DPD. The parcel had been ripped into and a vast of the majority of the contents eaten. The driver had made an attempt to repair the box with tape. The box had clearly been ripped into (clearly with desperation) whilst in the depot. It wasn't the driver, he delivers to me regularly. I haven't at any time received a parcel in such a state. I am aware that DPD are a budget courier, clearly household names like Cadbury are happy to put their name and reputations with such a poorly run company with such poor reviews. At some point DPD will take notice of their poor reputation regardless of the "Hubs" they rave on about. Bigger isn't always better, they are only as good as the staff they employ. The household names will hopefully pay attention to the poor reputation of this immoral company also, I have certainly brought it to their attention. I don't often choose to leave reviews, this is very unusual for me. I would give zero stars if I could.

Stayed in all day yesterday 10/1/19 dpd left a card on the doorstep not through the letter box, we have 1 bell on the gate 1 on the porch neither was activated. Have had to stay in another day today. I’ve been told the drivers have a few seconds to deliver so just place their card and get home early, will not order on line again
