I have never seen so many awful reviews for one company and these also reflect my own experiences of DPD. I cannot understand why any company would want to employ their 'services' as they are so unreliable and dishonest. Then there is their terrible Customer Services that seem to be employed to stick two fingers up at their customers. DPD are a totally unprofessional, rude and dishonest company who obviously have very little respect for their customers and clients - they should be avoided at all costs. Suppliers take note and find someone better or you will continue to lose customers and DPD will continue to 'lose' your parcels.

An employee of DPD stole my pandora jewellery, the parcel was delivered only containing just a gift bag and delivery note. The box was ripped with a hand sized hole! The driver put the parcel on our wheelie bin (just by our front door) while my partner was signing for it the rip in the box wasn’t visible. The driver virtually ran down our path jumped into his van and drove off. When my partner picked it up he noticed the rip and looked into the box, no surprise, a gift bag and delivery note, but no jewellery. I have contacted DPD via email several times, but like other reviews they are not interested. If you want to speak to the rude, confrontational “customer service” team the connection cost is £6! They are obviously trying to not deal with complaints and issues of theft by their members of staff. They know pandora refund the money spent, in my situation I didn’t want a refund, I wanted what I ordered in good faith. The items are now out of stock, so yes I have my money back, but I am very unlikely to get the special edition items that was ordered for a special gift. I wish that reputable companies would use reputable couriers.

I shudder when I see DPD will be 'delivering my parcel safely'. I have no idea how they are still in business but I have not once had a parcel delivered when it should be and where it should be. I never call customer services for anything else but with them it's every time. Currently on hold with them, they have a message asking you not to shout at their staff when you call - really says it all.

If I could give this company no stars I would. They have been holding a parcel for me sent from Spain for over 15 days, have changed the delivery dates without notifying me twice and when I call them they admit that they have damaged the parcel and so now I have to go collect it myself because their drivers will not deliver it. They also lied and said that the sender had requested it back hence why they could not delivery it to me. The sender has confirmed that this is not true which makes me think they might have either severely damaged the contents or got the parcel lost or stolen. Their customer service agents don't even try to help, they find excuses not to be able to do it and to have you wait for someone to call you the next day.I am beyond frustrated, please don't use them!

Terrible delivery and customer service!!! 2 parcels of mine disappeared, one before Christmas and one after. Did not receive tracking numbers, delivery confirmation or email. Parcels "signed for", the driver "accidentally" gave to one of my neighbours and when I asked him to tell me where he had conveniently forgotten which one. I have had more expensive parcels left with my neighbours and they have all been received. No return calls or information from customer service. Formal complaint issued to DPD and both companies I purchased from.

Giving one star to DPD is unfortunately providing them with at least one more star than they deserve, and I feel that I am detracting from companies that actually deserve their one star by doing so! It’s my own fault really. I should know better than actually expect a professional service. Perhaps if I accepted mediocre, then it would save a lot of hassle. Anyway, my experience with DPD has been shambolic, including: The driver taking my parcel to the wrong address, then claiming it couldn’t be delivered due to ‘incomplete information’! Then, despite being told that it ‘will be out for delivery on 2nd Jan’..... wasn’t, and in fact disappeared from the depot due to it not being scanned! There was also the two times that I utilised the online ‘chat’ facility on the DPD website, and was disconnected by the operator both times, because I wasn’t prepared to accept the information he was providing. And lest I forget, the saga of my emailing DPD, in the hope of getting some semblance of an answer to my issue, The relevant departments contacted by me, all had reassuringly professional titles, but that is where the professionalism ended. My replies consisted of waffle, the dreaded ‘management speak’, more waffle, and the distinct impression of being mugged off !! You would think that someone in the ‘executive’ admin department would at least be able to spell, and construct sentences..... But, there I go again, expecting a professional service!!

Well DPD absolutely F'd up my Christmas and left two very dissapointed children (al though probably two happy DPD employees children!!) Parcel promised on 4 occassions well in time for Christmas and now suspisciously 'lost' !!! DPD service is atrocious !! They are dishonest and very rude when and if you can get through to complain - they are just taking your money and running in the most cynical and fraudulent way - they seem unaccountable and make complaining and chance of compensation nearly impossible - Time to get together and take legal action against these fraudulent crooks....

Waited in 3 days running for delivery and 3 times received message saying couldn't deliver no-one in blatant lies no attempt to deliver even took a photo of the school next door showing it's gates closed, I don't live in a school!!!online chat cut me off each time I complained and return call form filled out but no call received and got the drivers mobile number and he just said I'm not coming back despite being 5 mins away. Terrible company will cancel parcels now and will inform suppliers why and will not buy anything from anyone that uses dpd as their courier.

Driver says no one was in despite gate being opened and I being in! Photograph taken by the driver which shows the gate being opened. No phone call to see if I was in. Made no attempt to drive through the gate and find our unit. Disappointing as they have let me down due sheer laziness and Nike who trust DPD to deliver the goods. It is extremely disappointing.

I have contacted suppliers to report DPD s many failings and attitude including a total disrespect for their customers and THEIR parcels. I have informed that if they use DPD I will not buy from them as DPD are so unproffesional and their only consistency is their unreliability and disgusting Customer relations. They are abusive liars who seem to dispise their customers and clients !!! What company can continue like this and survive ? Suppliers please take note and use a company that is more reliable and respectfull - if not your business will suffer as DPD have got such a terrible reputation now and from my experience this is understandable and I fail to understand how this company can continue without huge changes - I will certainly not miss them and feel sorry for the few drivers who do care but are badly let down by such aweful management and disfunctional systems.

One star because I cant give zero stars. DPD totally useless. The DPD app gives false information. They give you a window and dont turn up. This has been going on for over 7 days now and still I'm waiting for my parcel. If companies use their services surely their business will suffer in the long run. I'm calling the retailer to cancel my purchase as clearly its a waste of time.

DPD have missed the paid for delivery slot AGAIN and I want compensation but there is no response from them and it seems that they don't want to be accountable...Their Customer Servives line is just an insult - they are either inundated with complaints or they are under staffed...either way when/if you get through then you will find that they are useless, dishonest and abusive. Be warned and do not trust DPD - they do not care about their customers and do not deserve your business or trust,, Awefull company who must soon self distruct.

I paid £5.99 on the 26th of December for precise day delivery. I chose the 28th of December for delivery (as it was available, so saw no issue with the short date,) and I was assured that I would receive a one hour time slot for my delivery but never did. Installed their app to track my parcel and find that it has been received at Rumney depot, and that was the last place it was seen. It's Sunday today, and I've had no response or apology for the disappearance of my parcel. Also was at home both days so there's no way I could have missed a possible delivery :( I've messaged, phoned, emailed and tried everything to get some sort of response with no luck at all. To give them a second chance, thinking perhaps they were very busy as it is the holidays, I requested re-delivery for today and again - nothing. No time slot, no update on the location of my parcel at all. Not even a single response from DPD. I would call them again, but I was sat on hold for a good 20 minutes without any response yesterday so I don't see the point. I'm very disappointed, and will be sure to avoid DPD at all costs in the future. The number of negative reviews are astounding - how this company is still in business is beyond me. I totally understand this time of year is chaotic and extremely busy, but if that's the case then precise day delivery should not be available to choose and pay for :( I've contacted New Look in the hopes they can either chase up the order or refund it, but either way I'm going to have to buy a new pair of shoes anyway!

Another failed and now 'lost' delivery....DPD have all these systems in place and yet they are the first to ensure that they are abused with their lies and deceit - terrible and unreliable 'delivery' service - they must go under soon as who would risk using them with their aweful attitude towards their customers and thier property. Suppliers should not use DPD as they have lost the publics trust - do they care? it seems not - they are just liars and very abusive.

I had email giving me a 1 hour slot for delivery. I tracked the delivery and it said 15minutes away from my house.I was in all day and then an email saying oops sorry we missed you have left a note. Nobody ever came so I had to collect from a shop the next day. I had paid a fiver for delivery and had to collect it myself. I don’t like liars and think they are the worst delivery service.

Using Devious Parcel Dissapearance is a total waste of time. They are totally unreliable, dishonest and extremely rude. When your parcel is not delivered on time (VERY LIKELY) and you try and ring their pathetic Customer Services you will usually be trying to get through for over 30 minutes and there is a good chance that they will then put the phone down on you after lying and being absolutely useless. IF you can get through to a supervisor it is likely that they will be rude and confrontational - this is unacceptable - the calls are recorded and if anyone cares these people should be sacked !! It makes you wonder just what sort of person manages and trains these morons in this useless and unreliable, deceitfull company that has no respect for their customers or themselves - AVOID !!

These guys are useless. I have literally been emailed by them on 3 different days saying they would deliver my parcel (a phone) on those days and they never turn up! They lie about it too. They said they missed me on one day and left a calling card...No they certainly did not! I know they did not even turn up, I was listening/watching out for them during the one hour slot they gave me and way beyond that as I was in all day but they did not knock on my door or turn up in the driveway. I have emailed them several times with directions in case the driver went to the wrong address but they have not even replied to my emails. I can't call them cos my phone is broken hence why I ordered a new one, the one I'm waiting for them to deliver! I have never had such problems with other deliveries from other companies. If they don't deliver my phone soon I'm either going to have to get them to return it to Carphone Warehouse & I will collect it from the shop or I will just request a refund. It's not like I live on a new road or in the sticks, my road is in Bristol city and is several hundred years old.
