Bottom line is that DPD are just unable to perform the service that they are employed to carry out. They are dishonest and disinterested. Their customer services is rude, aggressive and totally disrespectful to their customers. It seems clear that they despise their customers and lie to them on a regular basis trying to cover up the chronic failures in their system. DPD are totally unreliable and it seems they think that they are unaccountable. DPD should not be in business and soon won't be with their terrible attitude and management.

I have had a lot of experiences with multiple delivery couriers and DPD has been the absolute worst. My Sky order was sent via DPD- scheduled for a Sarturday 14.56-15.56hrs delivery, and yes, as many people on the internet are saying, I waited all day, took in seperate deliveries from Amazon (evidence that I was home!). I got the update on their tracking system showing that they were very sorry as my driver Varun was running 'a bit late.' This message was there till 10pm and no driver showed. I took screen shots of all the updates and for sure, the next day all had changed to 'sorry we missed you, our driver attempted delivery at 15.05pm! Complete with a card number of the card they left, which was again, like everyone is saying, none existent. Now if that were true, why would they have been apologising for the 'running a bit late?' On Sunday it stated it would be delivered 'today' and again no show. Got the parcel on the Monday with no apologies from anyone. I contacted their complaints person to tell them this is what happened with their Southall branch as I thought it was a local problem, sent them all the screen shots I took and explained the obvious discrepancies which did not support the lies which were now on their tracking system, all previous notices had been removed to suit their narrative. I got an apology and a 'we will look into it.' Next, I got the 'our tracker says the driver came at 15.05h' All the evidence I submitted didn't seem to matter. I got told that they will get the Southall branch to investigate. Not sure how the same branch I'm complaining about can investigate itself! I can tell from lots of the comments here and on Google that they do not care about customer experiences so do not hold out any hope for further communications. It's been more than a week since my last email to them.

DPD - 1) Get your drivers to deliver a few less parcels each and fine them for every delivery that goes wrong. 2) Have a maximum wait on your customer services of 5 mins (and that is too long) 3) Employ people in Customer Services who respect the customers and genuinely want to help. Adopt a customer satisfaction with staff after the call. 4) Insist that all supervisors give their name and sack any that are rude and confrontational with the customers. 5) Employ Customer Services staff who can actually listen and comprehend. 6) Sack the delusional fool who devised the pre-recorded message about callers behaviour which is just infuriating, insulting and guaranteed to further annoy the caller. Instead of this just concentrate on getting your staff to be less abusive and confrontational! 7) Try and respect every customer and their possessions as if it was yours. 8) When things go wrong, be accountable and sort them out quickly and efficiently with compensation. 9) Address your culture of dishonesty and fraud. 10) Provide the service that you advertise and publish your track record of first time deliveries on time against failures. If you find the above just too much for your inept management then just pack it in and stop pretending !!

Appalling service, no love for the customer whatsoever. You have to jump through automated hoops to get through to a human, my parcel should have arrived 3 days ago. I was told it would arrive today, I still have no parcel. If I could take a guess regarding their totally un-enthusiastic drivers, they either all over-worked or just bone idle, lazy gits.

You will have no idea when the parcel is going to arrive, basically. Once, I've paid for Saturday delivery, and only had it delivered mid-week after. Today, I got the one-hour window, and the driver, by the app, was nearby, but then the status changed to 'parcel couldn't be delivered', and that was it; I still have no clue where it is or when it's coming. The customer service people were polite and helpful, but they have no idea what's going on with a particular parcel. So, be prepared to put a few days aside to sit around and wait for DPD to do what hey are paid for if you choose them.

Their Customer Services make it clear that they just want their customers to F off and that's exactly what they will do ! - I will never use DPD again after them being so rude and ignorant to me - and that was one of their supervisors !! "Customer Experiences Department' - grand title for a department that seems hell bent on disrespecting and lying to their customers in their pathetic attempts to conceal DPD's pathetic and totally unreliable 'Delivery' (if you're lucky!) 'service' AVOID !!

They have had the same person as Director of 'Customer Experiences' since winning an award and promptly spiralling to the appalling state that this department (and their delivery service) is in. Heads should role when the best that they can do is be dishonest, disinterested, confrontational and rude after your 30+ minutes wait to get through and the insult of then having to listen to Sinead Crokes condescending and hypocritical recorded lecture to callers about how they must behave and not show their anger and frustration !!!!!!!! Dreadful approach and one that can only alienate customers and make them go elsewhere.

Appalling laxadasical business that clearly believes it doesn't need customers as it shows total disregard to issues and who's customer service agents don't even tell the truth. Hotels and shameful sign of a business run with arrogance!! Find an alternative company!! DPD clearly couldn't care less how many complaints they receive!! Astonishing behaviour.

If I could give no stars I would. It's a terrible company with terrible customer service. My parcel has been delivered to the wrong address and they've not been able to contact the driver suddenly. No calls back, as they promised, no updates. They opened a dispute and are now making me do the leg work! Absolutely terrible, will never use them again.

Most awful experience with any parcel company. I was notified my text message I would receive my parcel at a defined lapse of time. Nobody showed up. Before the end of that day I made a follow up of the parcel on DPL Website which said driver tried delivering the parcel and left a notice (neither of this was true) and parcel was returned to main agency to be delivered again next day. The next day I checked again on the DPD Website which this time said the parcel was sitll at the agency (!!!!). Calling the agency turned out to be very difficult as no direct number is offered. Finally getting in touch with someone, I was offered... to get the parcel myself. Which I did because I urgently needed it. I wasted hours in traffic because a large demonstration (about climate change) blocked the biggest part of the city.

DPD drivers are not delivering to correct address, just dumping at other premises within a couple of miles. At completely different addresses and postcodes. Webchat told me I should go and find the parcels myself.

I am boycotting NIKE and all companies that use DPD - it is time to vote by actions. DPD do not deserve your business or trust - they are a shambles. Dishonest and disinterested, Their customer services department is just an insult to their customers from the 30 minute wait to either be cut off or to talk to someone who hasn't the intellect or desire to even follow your complaint...if you can get through to a supervisor then it is worse and the chances are that they will be extremely unhelpful and rude - terrible company

Ordered a few things on ASOS and paid for next day delivery. Driver came when expected but had gone to my back door, taken a picture of it and left. I received a message from dpd saying that I was not in to take in the delivery which is simply not true. Phoned dpd to complain and they told me that they would get the driver to return which did not happen. I rescheduled my delivery for the next day, only for it to not come. I received a text saying that the delivery man had tried to deliver my parcel which was again not true as I was in all day. There was a photo attached of a random properly which was nowhere near my adress. It’s the 3rd day and I still have not gotten my parcel. The whole company is a shambles. The delivery men take shortcuts and do not deliver items if they are on a tight schedule. I am boycotting all companies including ASOS who are partnered with Dpd until they no longer are.

We have had 2 deliveries from DPD in the last month and both of them were terrible. Delivery 1) ordered the new Apple watch from EE online who use DPD to deliver their parcels, on th day of delivery no one calls and rings the bell and the next thing we know a message has come through stating that they were unable to deliver our parcel. My partner calls DPD who said that they will get the depot to call. This was at about 1:30 p.m. at 5 p.m. she call DPD back and a different agent stated that the label on the package did not have the first line of the address on it so they could not deliver it. We asked why they didn't call the phone number that they have to confirm door number they then stated that they don't do that and that they will not be able to deliver it again at all as the label is wrong. We called EE who arranged for my partner to pick this up from a pick up point the next day. No apology and no offer of compensation even though they were told that this was a birthday present. Deliver 2) my partners ordered shoes from Nike.com and deliver was through DPD. On the day of delivery notifications received saying that it is on its way and partners actively tracked it on her phone until it said that DPD were here, we waited for the bell to ring but nothing. 5 min later we received a notification stating that no one was home and a photo of our front door. We called DPDD customer service and spoke to Corey who allegedly tried to call the drover but could not get tgrouch and then we're told that there is nothing they can do. My partner then went on their app and arranged to collect from a pick up point AGAIN!! NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. NO RESPONSIBILITY TAKEN. AVOID THIS COMPANY!! Nike and EE I would take your delivery contracts somewhere else.

We arranged for a parcel to be delivered Saturday afternoon and I waited in - all afternoon, for the delivery. I tracked the parcel and, at one stage, it was supposed to be 15 mins to my delivery. Next time I checked, it said the parcel had been delivered and SIGNED FOR by my partner (stated her name). This was NOT the case and I have now spent the last hour and a half trying to contact DPD to find out where it is. Managed to get through then, after a few words, the line dropped out!!!!! Me thinks it might be because it's 4pm and the staff can't be bothered as they're waiting to finish!! Back on the phone now!!! What an inconvenience! There appears to be no come-back on DPD for this rubbish service. I'm not a happy customer and will go out of my way to NOT use DPD ever again.

DPD apparently tried to deliver my parcel 3 time (I have been in all week and checked cctv camera - they have not !!! - they now state that parcel is 'lost' and I need to contact sender. Their customer services is a nightmare to get through to and when you do it is clear that they don't care to the point of being rude and confrontational. Dreadful unreliable and dishonest company that should be avoided.

Giving 1 start cause I can't give 0. Ordered a parcel which contains food, stayed at home to accept it, the courier didn't come. They've added "parcel was refused" as reason but nobody did refuse anything! If you don't want to work, well then don't! But stop lying!! This is not the first time, I'm still amazed about how can you guys still have clients who use you.

My Parcel was collected from my home on 16/01/2019 at 11:40 am to return it to Samsung UK. I asked for a return label to the DPD driver who collected my parcel, and he informed me this will be generated at depot but he can give me a reference number which I can use to track my parcel. Trusting DPD, I gave him my parcel and took the reference number. After some time I tried to see what is the status of my parcel. And guess what, the reference number which the DPD driver gave me was wrong. When I put that number on DPD website, it tells me "YOUR PARCEL HAS BEEN DELIVERED AND SIGNED BY RUDY AT 12:04 ON WED 28 NOV 2018." What an extra efficient DPD is, they will deliver your parcel 2 months before they even collected from you. I called DPD customer service and again no luck as their phone is keep asking you 14 digit parcel number, 8 digit card number or contact phone number followed by # key. When i put my contact number automated message kept saying "I cannot match this, please try again". I had to search for their courier contact number and they transferred me to customer service. The guy who I spoke with told me its delivered in November and I laughed that how its delivered in November and when its collected on 16th January 2019. After much of discussion he generated investigation. I chased DPD 3 times and asked for quicker resolution as I had the picture of the DPD van and they can easily track driver by that and find out where is my parcel gone. But no, they need to do their investigation and you will have to wait 24 hours to get initial reply and it will take 5 working days for investigation and there is no guarantee that you will get a satisfactory answer or your parcel back as your parcel might be stolen by the driver himself and might be sold somewhere. And I lost £339.00. If you have free time to chase DPD and wait for investigation to happen and if you want to lose your valuables then use DPD otherwise my personal and honest advise STAY AWAY FROM DPD.
