“Same poor experience with DPD. Dishonest! Was home all day and DPD lied stating attempted delivery and left notification. Untrue! People would understand if you tell the truth. I wish Amazon would not use them.”

“You tell lies about "Special arrangements that have delayed delivery". When I call I am directed to the website which gives no help at all. Your service is appalling and now I don't buy from companies that use your services so you are losing business for your customers. One of the worst companies I have ever had to deal with.”

“My parcel was returned daily to your depot for 6 consecutive days. The information in your routine messages was inaccurate and inadequate, therefore unreliable and untrue. I watched the map while the driver went past my home. My delivery times were daily changed, as they were today. Customer services told me my parcel was too big to be left at Sainsbury, the article being 13 inches long and 5 inches wide, weighed about 1 kilo. Promise delivery again today but again nothing and no believable explanation or fix.”

“Totally balls up on a delivery. Have been messed around on multiple days and am still yet to receive my parcel. Now been 7 days and counting since the parcel has been at their depot (southwark), which is under 2 miles to my house. Had an excuse of "can not find address" (in this day and age)? Epic failure. I could have walked it to my house many times over in the same duration?”

“Do not use this company if you value your delivery. I ordered cream and the driver left it in the sunshine on my doorstep not only for a passer by to take but in the baking heat. He did not get the required signature and ignored my request and a4 note on the door to deliver across the road. He then lied and said i left a message asking for it to be left in my porch. What porch? I spent 25 minutes holding on the phone. They ignored my first text and in the end passed the buck back to the cream company. Terrible service, terrible customer service and all this at £15. I will not be using this company ever again”

“I was in waiting for the delivery when I got a text saying sorry we missed you, we tried to deliver but you weren't in. This is the second time DPD have "tried" to deliver a parcel to me. The customer service phone line is a joke, first the automated machine make it incredibly hard to get past it to speak to a person. Then after waiting 15 minutes it went to a dialing tone only to hang up. So I tried again this time 16 minutes and it hung up on me. I'm furious, it is such a terrible company, I wish amazon would stop using them.”

“What's the matter with these people? Three abortive attempts on three successive days to deliver my parcel when I have been at home all day on each occasion - unbelievable, disgraceful, and unacceptable. I even had my landlord check out my security buzzer and it is in perfect working order. Hasn't the penny dropped yet? They are attempting to deliver to the wrong address! I will never again purchase anything online from any company that uses DPD as a parcel courier. I am disabled and now they are asking me to collect my parcel from a chemist shop miles away from where I live. I am reporting DPD's appalling service to Trading Standards Carry on like this and they will soon be out of business...good thing too. PS: To add insult to injury, a DPD delivery person finally found his/her way to my flat tonight (Thursday) at 19.36 - but not to hand over my parcel - to pop a pickup card through my letterbox and then race down the stairs unannounced. Utter incompetence. MONDAY 14 MAY Still have not received my parcel but got an email from the DPD exec desk intimating that the only solution is for me to contact the seller and have the product resent. DPD will return the original (assuming they can locate it. I am 87 years of age and this the biggest load of codswallop I have ever heard... I am now about to release my rottweiler of a solicitor onto DPD. If anyone can nail these liars to the floor, he can...”

“I’ve always HATED this delivery company but even more so today. Who attempts to deliver to a business address after 8pm Only DPD. After clearing indicating that it’s a business address. And call customer service waiting on the phone for 2 hours!!!!!! Yes two hours. I was guaranteed that my delivery will come before 5:30 I asked for confirmation twice. And I was a sure it will be here by 5:30. It’s 7pm now am I’m sitting outside my office still waiting. This is the 3rd time DPD’s stupid driving has done this. Hire ppl with sense and know business hours. I fucking hate dpd. It seems I’m traveling with my Mothers present!”

“Several times I have had emails saying it will be here the next day by 12pm. But then it doesn’t arrive. The people on the phone seem to think it’s fine that a delivery company can’t deliver when they say they will! If you are a delivery company the one thing I should get right is deliveries!!!!”

“SUNIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the driver is simply THE WORST DELIVERY PERSON EVER DO HE CAN READ OR SEE THE ADDRESS!!!! Today my parcel been delivered by this person and left in safe place with picture of yellow grit salt box!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Where the F… I live in this address for 10years and never seen one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fed up with DPD USELESS SO NOW NEED TO GO ASK FOR REFUND OF MY MONEY AS I NEVER GET DELIVERED MY PACKAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TRAY TO CALL DPD TODAY 50 MIN WITH TELLING ME WAITING TIME MORE THAN 5 MIN!!! WHERE IS MY PARCEL ??????????????????????”

“One of the DPD drivers who delivers parcels to our museum, by the name of Ashley, has been several times rude to our staff and volunteers. He has also sometimes left parcels in unattended area or in the way of customers. He has kicked the parcels to move them closer to the wall. He has also left parcels by the front door and then gone into the shop and asked for a signature before letting the person see the parcels. I have emailed DPD several times through their online complaint form, but they have not replied.”

“My parcel was left with a neighbour no card was left lucky for me my neighbour is honest I was in on day of delivery there was no knock on door or my dogs would have barked totally disgusted with your delivery person”

“I´m only giving this company one star as I can´t give them no stars. I had a very important package being sent to me this morning, and had been texted a time slot where I should stay in. I specifically wrote the address as the company that I work for - which is the only company in the building - but there is a door to the flats above to the side. The driver didn´t bother to read the name of the company he should deliver this package too or the instructions and therefore didn´t deliver my parcel. I now have to hope that they can read tomorrow. Absolutely 0 for effort. Would highly recommend to never use this company seeing that their drivers are not able to find very clear locations that are right on the street in central London.”

“Dpd is the worst delivery service in the whole of Europe. They lie, don't take responsibility for their own mistakes and l have ended up requesting them to send my parcel back to the sender. They made drive all the way to Peterborough and wait 1hour looking for my parcel and eventually got the courage to tell me a driver had accidentally sent it to Birmingham. I then rearranged to have it delivered the next day. They didn't show up and l decided let me just track where it is. It was now in Glasgow. Tried calling customer service waited 30 min till someone spoke to me. Promised to deliver the next day. Took a day off and did the parcel come. No. I even got emails from customer service apologizing promising my delivery is Definately coming but till today l have not received it. I called to try cancel and after 37min of that stupid dpd music and message "calls are in excess of 5 mins"ringing in my head I hung up. Dpd Dont Post Deliveries that's what your company should stand for. Stupid company.”

“DPD have to be the absolute WORST company I've ever had the displeasure of using. I ordered my phone on next day delivery last Tuesday so was due LAST WEDNESDAY and yet here I am STILL waiting for my phone!!! They have ZERO communication and useless customer service.. Constantly being told "it will come tomorrow" then the next day and then the next... Then a week late to be told I would receive a delivery slot this morning before 11am and STILL NOTHING.. What a surprise!!!! I have been on hold since 2pm then when someone finally answered I got cut off!!! Here I am waiting YET AGAIN FOR MY DELIVERY whilst STILL on hold to inevitably be told that "it will be delivered tomorrow" by some incompetent idiot that has no idea what's going on AND WITH ZERO CONFIDENCE THAT THEY WILL EVEN BOTHER TO DELIVER IT!!! AVOID!!!!”
