Absolutely poor service. As I was given an hour slot yesterday, I waited in my living room near the door to ensure I could sign for the parcel when it arrived. Suddenly i received an email and text saying DPD tried to deliver my parcel but no one was in and they left a calling card through my letterbox. This was a lie!!! They didn't put a calling card through my door, no one knocked or rang the doorbell. I have a security camera in front of my house and it showed no one tried to approach my front door during that an hour slot. This is the second time DPD driver lied about trying to deliver a parcel when they didn't! Their customer service number for compliant (0121 275 0500) is useless, you are just asked by a recorded voice to reschedule the delivery, there is no option to speak to a real operator! I would cancel any future purchase orders if DPD is involved and I will make sure to let the sellers know the reason!

The driver drove to a side gate to the flats complex and did not bother to ring the bell for the flat or go to the front door to deliver the parcel. I'd paid extra for the delivery to be on the day specified. I finally managed to contact someone to complain and they said they'd send a message to the driver to deliver later in the day and if that wasn't going to be possible for the driver to contact me so that I didn't continue to wait in all day. 5 hours later no word from anyone, no parcel and no idea of when it's going to be delivered. Appalling service

DPD local delivered my parcel to my home and just left it on the door step ,not even out of site so anyone walking past could see the parcel ,I am so Lucky my son called to my home and found it not even a calling card was left telling me about the parcel . If a door step is a safe place I would love to know what is not a safe place .Come on DPD get your staff sorted out before the claims come rolling in .

Dreadful customer service. Parcel was supposed to be delivered at a set time. I couldn't be in so asked for it to be left at a collection point. Driver could not be bothered and left it with a neighbour and I cannot retrieve the parcel now. Phone up and the guy on the phone is completely useless. BEWARE the phone call is £6 just to connect.

I am £84 out pocket because DPD delivered an item that was damaged in transit and this was made worse when they failed twice to collect a booked return of the item leaving me unable to obtain refund. But the worst experience was the lies told by staff at their Dagenham depot when they told the company I was trying return item to that "they had tried several times to collect the item" but the collection failed because "the item was not ready to collect". LIARS, I have evidence that depot never allocated the item for collection and lied to the intended recipient.

I purchased multiple products from both eBay and Amazon. I was messaged by DPD that the products would arrive on Thursday for my eBay purchased and Monday for my amazon purchases. So I live in a flat which has a buzzer and a tradesmen buzzer which allowed tradesmens such as caretakers, postmen and deliveries to enter the premises if they weren’t buzzed in. Both buzzers are really loud and the fact that I live directly above the main enterence I can hear when someone uses the buzzer outside. For my eBay purchases no one bothered ringing the door bell or entered the flat with the tradesmen buzzer to knock on the door, instead they just tried to open it realised it was locked and then left without trying the buzzer or trying another flat number even with the leave with neighbour option selected. (This was witnessed by my downstairs neighbor) an attempted delivery took place the next day and I was working from home and yet again no one buzzed at all. I received an email saying that another attempt was made because of this. I have now finally received my package after paying for it to be delivered on a Saturday and sitting outside in the cold while I waited for it. My amazon packages. Its now Tuesday and like my previous experience there was a supposedly attempted delivery on Monday and yet again no one pressed the buzzer. My mother is home and so is my sister and yet nobody heard the buzzer go and as a reminder we can hear when the buzzer goes, they even received our neighbours packages because they weren’t in. It’s now Tuesday and I have to take a day off work to sit in the cold and wait for my delivery because their drivers don’t know how to use a buzzer. This company is the worse and their staff are even worse and borderline incompetent

No wonder they don't have an online review page. The drop off location refused to take the package, even though it was within the allowed measurements and weights. Won't use again. Had to go back to returns company and request they send returns from a different company.

Keep checking the DPD website for my parcel until they leave a message saying it was delivered to me when it wasn't! The seller using the DPD company even acknowledge that the parcel was returned to him. What a joke of a company. Avoid at all costs!

Bunch of incompetents, atrocious service and drivers don’t give a damn to whom they deliver, they just want is to get rid of the parcel. Had a delivery to my work address, in an office building, he never went to reception or as far as I’m concerned anywhere near it, but he gave the parcel to someone that signed for it but no one from the office, reception or security. Contacted Customer Service, said they would contact driver in the morning and update but that never happened. Absolutely disgraceful, shambolic and don’t care attitude, they should be ashamed of themselves and the company they represent NEVER USE THESE INCOMPETENTS

Utterly incompetent. Second delivery in a row delivered to the wrong place and no way to contact them to inform them of the error. Never ordering from MADE again since they use these idiots as their delivery agents.

If I could only give no stars... Drivers are making no effort to make sure parcels are delivered...especially if the see the closed door to a block of flats. Nobody else has any problem ringing customer's mobiles, in case of any issues entering the building. DPD drivers do not care at all. Without calling, they just leaving... Decided to review their poor service, as this is not really the first time we are having issues with parcels that were in DPD's hands. Awful service!

We receive around 60 deliveries each year, from various couriers who I have to say are great. The four that was supposed to be delivered by DPD never arrived on time ,the staff lie ( we left a card ) No card was ever left ,we can't find address was the other excuse but no phone call to establish address. This company is a disgrace. I will in future when ordering stuff on line as specifically that DPD is not used and if my request is ignored I will refuse to sing for the delivery and cancel order. This is not a threat it is a promise.

They said the address doesnt exist. I called them back, they said the address is correct. Then I asked to deliver it to a parcel shop nearby. And afterwards, it was delivered to a much further parcelshop. HORRIBLE SERVICE

I WAS GIVEN A DATE AND TIME SLOT VIA A TEXT AND I SAW THE DPD VAN DRIVE PAST MY HOUSE WITHOUT STOPPING.I WENT ON LINE TO TRACK MY PARCEL TO READ THAT THE PARCEL WAS DELIVERED AT 11.42 AND SIGNED FOR BY MYSELF WHICH OBVIOUSLY WASN'T TRUE.I PHONED MY LOCAL DPD DEPOT TO ENQUIRE ABOUT IT AND WAS TOLD THAT THEY WOULD START AN INVESTIGATION INTO THE PROBLEM BUT I WOULD HAVE TO PHONE THE COMPANY I BOUGHT THE PRODUCT OFF FOR THEM TO CONTACT DPD TO START THE INVESTIGATION.I HAVE LOOKED ATALL THE REVIEWS FOR DPD AND THERE ARE A LOT OF UNHAPPY PEOPLE OUT THERE WHO HAVE DEALT WITH DPD, I WILL DEFINATELY THINKE TWICEABOUTUSING THIS COMPANY AGAIN.

I'm tempted to start a petition for DPD to close its business purely for the sake of humanity. They seem completely unable to fulfill time commitments on deliveries, transport without damaging parcels, or deliver to the correct address. All of these attributes I would expect the self named "your delivery experts" to have mastered by now. I will never be associating with DPD or trading with any businesses that use DPD in future. There are plenty of other courier's out there that can actually do their job.

This is in reference to the DPD Snetterton depot. (1) DPD did not deliver on the prearranged delivery on Friday 19 January 2018. The excuse was this was due to driver hours. (2) Even though this was a DPD failure, DPD did not try to redeliver the parcel the next day. The customer rescheduled the delivery to Saturday 20 January 2018, On Saturday 20 January 2018 AM DPD changed the delivery date to Monday 22 January 2018. (3) The customer then upgraded the delivery to Sunday 21 January 2018 which DPD confirmed. On Sunday 21 January 2018 AM DPD changed the delivery date to Monday 22 January 2018. Is DPD a courier service that is too incompetent to deliver parcels on a requested date? Should people stop using DPD as courier service?
