No delivery, waited in all day, same as many people here, was texted to say I was not at home, while I was waiting by the door for the parcel ... . Later I was sent a photograph of an entirely different property, as 'proof' that delivery had been attempted by the driver. The latest of a series of nightmares with dpd - the consequence is generally no goods received plus days of life lost in waiting and stress, without being able to go out and do anything else. It is time UK companies like this, who are actively hostile to the customer, were prevented from trading. The vendor - mpb.com - has helpful support staff but a policy that results in their taking your cash and hanging on to it, despite dpd's non deliveries and spurious photos - they are clearly aware of dpd's reputation. We in the UK should not put up with this, we are too passive. Perhaps vendor companies could make a selling point out of saying "We never use dpd!"

Very bad service. Delivery delayed 4 times for the same delivery. Rescheduled with no reason and no agreement with me. Very bad customer support. No professional at all.

Ordered a phone and chose my delivery date as a Saturday (I work Mon-Friday). The package was due to be delivered to my mum's house so I travelled up there and waited all day on Saturday to no avail. Called up the company I bought the phone from and they contacted DPD, who apparently couldn't give them a reason as to why my package wasn't delivered that day but it would be delivered the following day (Sunday). I had to ask them for a tracking number as I was never provided with one by DPD - I hadn't received any contact from them at all. I waited in at my mum's house again on Sunday and kept checking the tracking status, which was saying it was in a warehouse in England (delivery was to NI). Sent an email to DPD who were due to reply within 90 mins. 2.5 hours later still no response so Googled the customer services number (couldn't locate it on their website). I was told that DPD don't offer a 24hr service to NI, and therefore as the phone company had sent out the phone on the Friday, there would have been no way they could have delivered my package on the Saturday. They then said they couldn't guarantee it would be with me that day (Sunday) either. I asked for a complaint to be logged and for a manager to ring me back because no-one would be in the house on Monday, but was told that it would be the next day before a team leader could contact me which was a bit useless. My first contact from DPD was a text with an hour timeslot on Monday. thankfully someone was able to go to the house over their lunch and wait for the parcel for me, but I still haven't received any contact from the team lead nor the compensation for wasting 2 full days that I asked for and was told I would get by the advisor on the phone. Appalling service. Will try my very best to avoid at all costs in future.

Tried to contact DPD by phone was put on hold, voice message said very busy could be 4,minuets wait, it took more than 30minuets for someone to answer, I was then lied to. To add insult to Injury I discovered I had been charged 45p/per min total of £18 to hear these lies. I had to get in touch with the sender to sort out the problem, Absolute disaster, bunch of crooks. Would have left no stars if it was possible

There is a reason why 93.58% of people rated this company with one star. Their service is just appalling. I decided to buy a phone and when I saw the seller decided to use DPD I tried to avoid it at any cost, but I wasn't successful. I should have received my phone on the 28th of February, and due to the weather condition the delivery has been rescheduled. I totally understand this and I waited for my parcel that, believing DPD email, would have arrived on the 4th of March. When I saw it was a Sunday I already knew they will never ship it, but I decided to give them a chance, even in the previous 4 times I had to receive a parcel from them I always had troubles and even lost a couple of days off because of their incompetence. My office it's literally next door their warehouse so I tried to contact them using Facebook, Twitter and creating an email request on their support website. I received an automated email which reassured me I would receive an answer within 24h. Needless to say that never happened and on the 4th of March I received an email 26h h after the initial request, saying the delivery couldn't happen because of the weather condition and also I can't pick up my parcel by myself because their warehouse it's not fitted for that kind of service. Well I guess Sainsbury's food truck must be heroes to deliver food anyway, because in Edinburgh the weather alert it's not red anymore and buses, cars and lorries travel everyday. On the morning of the 5th I checked an update on the parcel and I can see it arrived this morning in Edinburgh so their support literally lied to me. I really hope they will go out of business soon.

If I could I would give them even -10!!! The worst experience ever!! Booked Through parcel monkey the courier was DPD.A parcel was picked up from London and arrived in Singapore, went through customs. the day of delivery I received an update that consignment is incomplete and contacted dpd. I was told address is incomplete though all documents were provided and clearly on booking, there was full complete address. Contacted parcel monkey and provided again all documents and exact list of items, only ignoring replies and apologies from them. They didn't do anything to find out what happened. The conversation was ongoing for over a month the same only apologies. I have requested contact details of the courier in Singapore, they didn't want to provide. Dpd was diverting me to parcel monkey and blaming them. After more than a month received an update that parcel is LOST!!! 10kg parcel suddenly lost!! None of them wants to take full responsibility as I didn't have protection. Clearly, it's STEALING from customers and making an excuse for not taking any responsibility!!!!! REPORTING THIS CASE TO POLICE!!! NEVER USE PARCEL MONKEY AND DPD BOTH LIARS AND BE AWARE OF THIS WHEN THEY LOSE YOUR SHIPMENT!!! SINCE 20 JANUARY STILL WAITING!!!!! Its 4th March today.

Been let down so many times by this company, recent next day paid delivery not coming for 3 days. For a logistics company they don’t seem to have a lot of ideas and can’t seen to resolve their issues without impacting their customers. I will never buy from a company that uses DPD as a carrier,

How can DPD justify a small amount of snow (where every other delivery service has gotten through easily) to delay entire areas for 2 days? I live one postcode over from an area which apparently only had 1 day delay (10 minute drive) and I have no clue how it'll take them an extra day for them to cover that distance. I don't think an untrained carrier pigeon could be that slow in this weather. The best part is, there hadn't been any snow for over 24 hours and the roads were completely clear when they announced the "delay". Absolutely awful service. I have no words to express how much this pisses me off.

Failed to deliver food parcel to partially sighted disabled elderly lady during bitterly cold weather because one letter AT END of postcode was misprinted. NOt rocket science to locate address then Southampton DPD. Now "customer service" (please insert bitter laughter at the department label here) say the parcel may not be delivered for another 2 days! All complaints go via central customer service who clearly read from a list of lame excuses. Complaints don't go directly to the people responsible as they have absolutely no intentions of solving any problems. Utterly shameful lack of accountability, they don't deserve to be in business.

DPD is having my parcel since 9th of February (09 Feb 2018 23:02,Hub 4 - Hinckley,We have your parcel, and it's on its way to our Dagenham depot) and I m still waiting for it!! Nobody of them could tell me where the parcel is. After writing 2nd review only someone from DPD called me and told they dont know where the parcel is even after scanned and labelled with parcel number etc. They just told me to contact the sender and that is all. I didn't heard from them after that. So they want to blame the sender even it is DPS's fault!! I think someone of the staff has stolen the parcel and now they dont really know what to answer me so they just blame the sender and stop contacting /helping me! To DPD: DON'T contact me if u wanna tell me the same thing like last time again!! First find my parcel, then contact me!!!!! Sanjay

Jason ( Henfield , Sussex area ) the driver sent me a text saying he would deliver my parcel between 15.30 and 16.30 on the 26 th Feb . When he did not turn up I rang customer service who rang Jason and they said he was running late and would be 30 mins , guess what he never turned up . What a terrible firm . I had taken the day of work and this is how I was treated .

Only gave one star because I didn't have an option to give zero... this is the third time I have waited in all day, only to have my one hour delivery slot come and go without a peep from DPD - then the dreaded email "we're sorry we missed you"... no card, no doorbell, no phone call, no delivery. I then spend half an hour on the phone with customer service, who can never reach the driver to ask him to return to my address and actually do what he is contracted to do. I'm then being promised they will redeliver the item later in the week... which I'm sure it will fail again as it has the past three times. I am loath to be beholden to such an awful delivery firm regardless of where I order my product from. How is the customer not even compensated for days wasted, time off work taken, failed customer service… I feel sorry for the people in the call centre. DPD should have it's license revoked for operating in what can only be described as utterly disgraceful.

I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN. I had an urgent parcel sent to my address including a PC component that I badly needed to continue my work. I got a time slot for delivery on Monday 20 /02/18 from 9 am to 10 am by a driver called Yanic but he never came. He wrote on the website that the parcel was refused what entitled he was at the address but of course that was not true as we were at home all day. I called the company and they arrange redelivery next day (Tuesday) with a time slot 9.43 am to 10.43 am by same driver Yanic but again the driver never appeared. He wrote in the website (address not found). How is that possible if he wrote the day before he was at our address? I called the company again but of course the driver never answers the phone so they could not offer any solution. It was obvious the driver did not even bother coming to my address any of those days. Be aware of the driver call Yanic. You might never get your parcel!! Very unprofessional service and company. I don’t recommend them at all.

Apologies to whoever is reading this because Ive got nothing nice to say about the absolute shittest delivery service Ive ever seen from DPD in the last week. I sent my playstation off to Sony for repair. Early to mid last week they sent it repaired back to me via DPD. I get the emails and texts saying it will be deliverd thursday (last week). I sit in all day waiting for my time slot rought between 2pm and 3pm and when the driver got within meters of my front door (according to the tracking map) the status changed to parcel refused!!! Not understanding why I go onto the tracking which allowed me to give instructions and reschedule which gave me the option to reschedule for the same day. The parcel never showed up. Now friday comes and the parcel again goes out for delivery and since Ive given clear instructions I cant see why it would not turn up so I sit in again waiting for the parcel. Its gets to the time slot and the tracking says parcel signed for by 'BWEN'!! Frustrated and not knowing who the hell this person is I go knocking on all my neighbours doors but none of them have it!!! So I called customer services, waited 20 minutes to get through to somebody where the lad put me on hold whilst he spoke to the oldbury depot. he then came back to me to say the driver is going to retrieve the parcel and will redeliver it on that friday but not sure of the time. fair enough so I sit in for the rest of the day and nothing showed up!!!!!!! The parcel apparently was retrieved from the wrong person but now seems to get sent back and forth between your birmingham hub and the oldbury depot continously and never goes out for delivery. So I STILL dont have the parcel 7 days on!!!! Its now a complete joke! Since then Ive emailed customer services 3 times and this is my 4th message in hope of getting the parcel. All I seem to get is apologies and being told its stuck because the parcel status is delivered!!!! Yes I can see that but since you still have the parcel in your system how on earth can the status not be updated back to undelivered I do not know. Ive lived at this address for nearly a year and every other delivery driver has delivered my parcels without any issues. now 7 days since the first delivery was meant to happen and still nothing. can someone at DPD get this parcel to me because your staff at Oldbury seem uncappable!!!!!!!

Absolutely appalling service. Third time I'm having my parcel rescheduled as they say don't have my full address - despite me having called at least 8 times to give it. Kafkian experience, waiting all day at home for nothing, waste of time and money. Disastrous customer service. Frustrating and enervating experience. Avoid if possible

Absolutely horrific service. Ordered for next day delivery in the end will arrive 4 days later. Manager wouldn't speak to me. No compensation. Lost a lot's of time and money waiting for computer too arrive. Do not use this company! I ordered product on Thursday for next day delivery- waited in all day nothing arrived. Had been put through on the 3 to 5 days by mistake. I paid £5 to upgrade, was promised Saturday- did not arrive, even said I would go pick it up myself from the depot. They would not give me that info, and said there was nothing they could do. I have paid someone to to set up my computer this weekend so I can start a job Monday using it, this is now not possible. They will not even refund me my £5 I spent upgrading for next day delivery (even though it was their mistake). I have lost so much money on this Very Upset! Manager even refused to speak to me, so bad customer service as well. I will be going to the small claims court in an attempt to get my money back.

Cannot understand why Appliances Direct uses them. They are supposed to collect my old tumble dryer, a service I paid for,. i WA then told I had to wrap it in smooth cardboard or bubble wrap! First driver refused to take it as he only take smaller packages. Second one, I watched pass my home and then pass it on return without calling here!!! He ten reported in in that collection failed due to inadequate packaging which was apparently believed because his coordinates were correct. Of course they were..HE PASSED MY DOOR.
