everything went wrong, impossible to get in touch with them by chat or phone, they did not pick up on time neither delivered the goods.

They text you saying "delivery will be with you soon", when they have not even picked it up or wont for another 3 days. Useless, not my choice.

I definitely would not choose DPD as their drivers are not reliable at all with zero respect for their job, not turning up with parcels and simply making fictitious claims of missed deliveries whilst a recipient waits on a day. Total disregard for one's time and near impossible to call someone to investigate. This has been happening on regular basis with no one taking any responsibilities. What other companies can perform so poorly and yet face no repercussions?! Sadly often as a person receiving a parcel it's not my choice to use them but I would like to warn anyone who is!

Paid extra for the 'Express' next day service (Between 9am - 5pm) and awaited the 1 hour time slot we would be given for delivery, normally at 11am when its loaded on the van, but this can also be 12pm depends what link you look at, oh and also elsewhere it says delivery will between 6am - 10pm on another link. Tracking number didn't work but we could see that the item had been received at the Birmingham hub at 2am this morning and it was on it's way to the Hinckley depot where it appears to have vanished into the ether!! Not having received a hour time slot by 2pm we contacted the company we bought the item from as they would have more chance of speaking to someone at dpd than we would, this they did and got back to us saying they were very unhelpful and it looks like it's gone 'missing' as they had no record of it....... As a gesture of goodwill the company is resending the item via a guaranteed delivery by 1pm Saturday RM.

Bunch of clowns, do not use their services, 48hour is a complete lie, ive been waiting 8 days now and still they cannot trackdown my package. Their call centre keeps saying call wait 5 minutes, when actually you will wait 30mins or more! Worst service Avoid at all cost.

I would give zero but there was no option to do so. They claim to have tried to deliver parcels but then take pictures of random buildings saying they left a card. Or they say it's been delivered and signed for but no one seems to know where it is and it mysteriously ends up back at the depot. Other times I get an email saying "we have changed your delivery date as requested" when I am still sitting at home waiting for the delivery. It's a common tactic by the couriers to blatantly lie and say they have tried to deliver but because they are pushed for time they either drive by or say they couldn't find the place. I keep urging companies not to use them anymore. It's a disgrace. Even myHermes is better than DPD. Customer services keep promising delivery and it just doesn't happen. They had one of my parcels for at least 17 days. After hours of wasted time on the phone they finally delivered to a local DPD drop of point. They wouldn't give me the parcel because there was no barcode on it. DPD apologised and said it was their fault. The most frustrating company I have ever dealt with.

Useless. They claim to have tried to deliver my parcel and left a card. I was in all day and no card was left. I received a text asking me to rearrange delivery, however no option was given to choose another day. The next day I received another text saying delivery attempted. Again no card left. Emailed DPD to find out what was going on and had to wait 2 days for a response. My question was deleted for the form I sent, so was sent an email telling me my package was being delivered to a local shop. The previous text had said this would be ready today, however this is not the case.

Everything went wrong each time, nobody picks up nor collect the packages, they do not answers the phone, chat is never working well and many times I see the status of my packages as "wrong address", when the given address is totally correct and easy to find. Couriers do not even call to ask, they just put "wrong address" when they are too lazy to do their job.

Flower delivery for house move - recipient was in but they didn’t knock or if they did not loud. They took a photo of the box of flowers on the doorstep but then left them by the bin next to previous occupants rubbish. No card to say where they had left them. Recipient wasn’t expecting a delivery as it was a surprise so didn’t look by the bin. I had to contact the recipient to see if she had received the flowers the previous day but she hadn’t. We contacted the florist who provided evidence by the photo that they had been delivered but I thought how stupid to just leave them on the doorstep. I had requested if recipient not in to leave with a neighbour. We found them eventually by the bin with the rubbish but this was 8 hours after delivery in the heatwave. What a waste of money and it spoilt the surprise of what was intended as a nice gesture. Very disappointed with DPD

DPD have taken 29 mins to answer phone - says on recording that the current wait time is in excess of 5mins - very misleading. Unacceptable and misleading wait time

Appalling service - delivered to the wrong address apparently 'signed for ' and 40 minutes to get through on the phone. Their usual practice is to not bother knocking/leaving a note - i try not to use this firm whenever possible. Always awful and rude on the phone

These guys are consistently terrible but are used by O2 and Curry's as they must be cheap as!!! Screw the customer, lets use DPD and make the whole insurance thing 100 times more annoying for the claimant.

They didn’t bother delivering or leaving a card, I waited in and nothing just an email stating they’d tried delivery, so I’m waiting in for attempt number 2 this morning, phoned them up to help the driver with directions etc but just pressing buttons and robots on the other end so no humans to speak with.......AVOID AVOID AVOID

Yet another poor service from this company. Failed to deliver Friday, took a picture of my house but failed to find the front door after I had stayed in waiting for them. I rang customer service (or lack of it) only to get an automated service which eventually transferred to the local dept who never picked up the phone. No answer at all over the weekend. Again failed to deliver today, and took a picture of a random fence where they had left a calling card! rang, and rang and rang and finally got through to the local depot who said they would re-deliver within 20 minutes - no show. Rang again - told that someone would ring at 5:00 with a revised time - no call back. Rang yet again and told that the driver would deliver sometime this evening 'on his way home'. Completely clueless company, customer service clearly is not a consideration. 4 hours wasted time. I only use UPS, when sending items, I wish companies would not use DPD when sending me items.

I ordered a delivery from HelloFresh, and got a text this morning saying that the parcel had been delivered and left in front porch. Looked all over for it, but no joy. Now have emailed three different departments of DPD, but no response. Hoping that relative gets hers so she can ask her driver what might have happened. Very unimpressed so far-seems I'm not the only one. I hope someone gets back to me.

Very similar experience. They messaged me informing me of the delivery slot. I was checking on their app the progress of the driver called Jason. 4 hour then 3 hours then 53 minutes on each checks. Last check was 14 minutes and Jason was one street from me i came out. Suddenly to receive a message saying Delivery attempted nobody was in to sign the parcel! I was standing outside with my neighbour! Tried to call them through the app but it was like trying to drawn a fish. After 45 waiting I gave up, Amazon made me even madder by confirming they lie! And offered a refund for something that was a present, I wasted a day waiting for and travelling tonight. Absolute disgrace ! I have now deleted their app

Ordered a next day delivery from Amazon and didn't receive the parcel. The driver even took a photograph of where he called and reported nobody was in and took the parcel away. It was somebody else's house, he didn't even check the address! I called them and their automated system told me the parcel had been delivered and signed for by somebody called CAL. After 15 minutes on hold I gave up. If I don't get it tomorrow, I'm cancelling the order.

Received a text saying my replacement phone would be delivered between 13:49 and 14:49 so I stayed in all day. At 14:50 I saw the dpd van driving away. A note had been left saying they had tried to deliver with no answer. I was in. No knocking. And also I don’t think 30 seconds is a reasonable amount of time to wait for someone if he did knock as he said he did. Customer service don’t care. Poor service. Would never choose them myself but have no choice as it’s through insurance.

I am expecting a high value order from Dyson. I opted for the 5-8pm slot today. The confirmation email defaulted that time to 5-10pm so I cancelled an evening appointment to make sure I was in. My parcel has not arrived, I’ve had NO communication from DPD to explain why the delivery hasn’t been made. Having just logged on to their website it is now saying tomorrow between 6am and 10pm??!! Sorry, you expect ME to wait in for 16 hours tomorrow when YOU have failed delivery today and didn’t even have the courtesy to let me know? I think not. At least have the decency to offer me a time window to fit around my commitments tomorrow given that I have already had to cancel arrangements today when you didn’t turn up. Disgraceful service.

I received a text SMS at 7:04 telling me "Your order will be delivered 27 Jun by DPD." No sign yet and when I finally got through to a human (after Googling for a phone number as their website doesn't have a number) I was told that it would not be delivered today and no date could be provided. A day wasted spent waiting for a parcel that will not be delivered. How can I rate them as 0/5 ?
