This company tells lies - thats if you even get to the right company. There are 2 DPD companies (apparently one is red and one is blue) and knowing which one to try and deal with without any details or contact numbers on their emails is impossible - who thought up this bit of monumental stupidity ? They employ drivers who can't read or follow simple requests, Customer Service staff who tell you everything that goes wrong is your fault (Lloyd at the Liverpool help desk is a prime example of this), and have offices who's phone continuously rings without being answered despite supposedly being open. If you try and deal with bunch of incompetent fools you must be nuts - do the sensible thing and take your business elsewhere.

Failed to deliver on confirmed day and time. Customer service slow to respond, took 15 minutes to answer the phone, then tried to blame customer for changing date, then tried to blame product supplier. Unhelpful, unfriendly, unapologetic, just excuse after excuse. Would not use them ever if I had the option and certainly don't trust anything they say.

Booked an important, time sensitive delivery slot for 12-1pm. Took time off work and waited, but no delivery and no calls to let me know of any delays. According to the real-time tracking features of the app, the DPD delivery person, Michael, was supposed to be 45mins away and the van icon on the map suggested it was close to my street and had another 20 deliveries before me. So, I decided to wait another 45 mins. After time elapsed, the app now suggested they were 1 hour away from my home. Rubbish app, does not work and tells lies. Then a few minutes after the delivery status on the app updated saying that the delivery man could not deliver because he could locate my address (I live on a major road, with traffic light, its impossible to miss). That was a lie. I called customer service from the app (luckily, calling directly from the app give you some advantage as your call is answered quicker), and was told the delivery was an hour away. When I asked of the status on the app which said the delivery man tried but could not locate my address, I was told it was a technical issue with the app. hmm... another lie. Anyway, after one hour and no delivery, I called again and was told he was 20 mins away. After, 30 mins and no delivery, I called back and was told they could not reach the delivery man. This is the worst delivery company ever. Next thing, the delivery status on my app changed to recipient requested parcel to be delivered next day (I did not ask for this). So, I called back, was livid at this time, and asked why the status was changed and demanded that my parcel be delivered today. They said there was an issue with my parcel, first that it was missing, then that it seems it was forgotten at the Croydon depot and there was nothing they could do now since it was too late. Then I called EE, the company that sent the parcel and explained the situation. I asked that they contact their agent and deal with them directly as I was not going to receive the parcel the next day and I wanted it delivered today. Ws on the phone with EE for about 40 mins .. then, all of a sudden, My son tested that the just delivered the parcel (this was at about 4.30pm). DPD is a useless delivery company with rubbish logistics and lying delivery men. They costed me a whole day's work.. who is going to pay for that? Rubbish!!!

I honestly wish I could give this company minus stars. I always dread finding out that they are the delivery company for any parcels being delivered to me. Every time they are due to deliver a parcel, it ends up being 'refused' by someone, even if I am sat in my flat waiting for them to call. One of my Christmas presents didn’t arrive until 30th December because apparently we kept 'refusing' it (the driver was not pressing call after ringing out door number). Today, my delivery has been returned to sender after one delivery attempt, as 'the lady at the buzzer' 'refused' the parcel. No one can tell me which lady, or where they attempted to deliver the parcel. None of my immediate neighbours would refuse, they never refuse any other company's delivery. I really wish that I didn't ever have to deal with these inept jokers ever again. Unfortunately, I still need my parcel.

This excuse for a delivery company should be avoided , My order for winter tyres caused me untold misery , because of thier Inability to deliver my tyres on time this directly Impacted on my ability to get to work on time owing to the snow and ice , they had my tyres for 2 whole weeks before they delivered to the garage that was waiting to fit them , the lie they told me was because they only had the postcode , absolute rubbish as they deliver to this same garage regularly , They are just simply Incompetent avoid at all costs as they are just liars as well ... and not the first time I've had problems with them including the same exuse for the failed delivery of my new mobile phone ,. Message to dpd management Portlethen depot ... You are Incompetent Lying Imbeciles ...

What went right! paid for specific day delivery that being yesterday. Got someone to wait in all day and checked all day for a 2 hour delivery slot. Parcel had been dispatched Thursday. Tracking stated that parcel was on its way. Even covered all possibilities and said if door wasn't answered to leave with neighbour or safe and to leave a card. Updated this at 4 ish when i was home. NO delivery, no nothing, spent ages on phone to sender, currently on hold to them again, no update on parcel, no scan details, nothing. Have now had to cancel parcel and the sender has lost a customer. Well done DPD not sure how any business can afford to use you. Note this isn't the first or even second time either....

Absolutely useless company. Waited in all day for a parcel that was booked in for between 3 and 4 pm. Checked online at 5 and it said I was No.50 currently at 32. Waited in another 2 hours, checked back online and the driver stated nobody was in and they didn't have my details which is bs as Amazon have had all my info for years. To top it off nobody answers the phones and I paid extra for express next day delivery. Waste of time..AVOID!

Couldn't choose the time slot and missed the delivery by 10 minutes. Asked for parcel to be left at post office on next street if I wasn't in. this wasn't done. Saw delivery driver on way back home and asked for package but he couldn't deliver on the street and wouldn't drive back round the corner to the house to deliver it there either. Paid through the nose for it to be delivered on the Friday(Today), now apparently won't get parcel delivered till Monday, at which point the package is useless. What a joke!

The driver did not attempt to deliver the package and the photo was of the wrong house. On the wrong street. What was the point of me giving a contact number if the courier did not attempt to contact me. If they had they would have known they were in the wrong street. I was in at the time and could have helped him with the delivery. There is no real customer service available to talk or even live chat with and the number given is an automated service. I would never recommend this useless service or buy from anyone who uses this service as there is no guarantee you will receive your goods. Customer service very poor, delivery service very poor. If it was possible to give zero stars I would!

I odered parcel before Christmas it was expensive bag it went missing, the delivery driver said he deliverd it to my address but i was at home all day no one came and i certainly didnt sign for it. After that i just send it to be deliverd to a local store for safety, another delivery got missing the driver just wrote that it was signed by ILLEGIBLE? It ia totaly rediculous.

My Parcel, a Christmas present, was not delivered on day 23/12/2017 as stated. I contacted ‘Make it Better’ and they thought sending an email saying my parcel was locked in a container until 27/12/2017 when a label would be attached and It would be delivered on 27/12/2017. The parcel actually arrived on the 28/12/2017 another day wasted waiting around.
