Worst service ever. Expect problems when dealing with this unreliable delivery disaster. The drivers create false reasons for not delivering in order to avoid having to go to certain areas. Despite many calls to their customer service to try and resolve any problems, my parcel still hasn’t arrived and they do not seem to care at all. I am definitely going to avoid purchasing from any company that uses DPD as I will never get the goods. Bad, bad, bad!

Our usual DPD delivery guy Dan is fab. Today's (5.16pm on 12.3.19) was the most rudiest non-engaging person that I have ever met? I wouldn't employ him to walk my dog let alone represent the company by wearing a logo embosed jacket or drive their van.

For the second day in a row I received a notification that I wasn't at home even though I was, both today and yesterday. They also said they left a calling card - they didn't. Liars! And I've wasted another day. I called customer service to complain and ask about my parcel and they hang up on me. I will do all I can to avoid using DPD in the future because they simply don't respect their customers and their time.

I chose to collect a parcel from a local pickup store. DPD never sent me a QR code for collection. Nevertheless, I went to collect the parcel on the same day it had arrived at the local pickup only to find out that it wasn't there. After trying to reach DPD and their awful customer service and after several emails to the seller we managed to get CCTV footage showing the parcel being stolen by someone who apparently had a QR code for collection and never showed his ID! Neither DPD or the seller assumed responsibility and this issue had to be escalated to PayPal and we even spoke to the police. I lost my parcel, money and most importantly my time! I hope this issue is solved however it's been 3 months since it happened. My advice is to avoid this company.

Absolutely disgusted with this company, especially their policy of making false promises to customers. You make plans based on these false promises, the delivery doesn’t happen and then you waste more time trying to make arrangements for later. Moronic customer service doesn’t help matters.

So they now get 5 stars for dropping off at the wrong place and making you chase to sort it out ????!!!! Yes it's good to know that for once they tried to sort it out BUT !

Delivery was supposed to take place (agreed a safe place to leave it with dpd) on 6/3/19 between 2020hrs and 2120hrs, I was in house all day and paid particular attention to our ‘safe place ‘. Got a text saying it was delivered at 2027hrs and signed for by someone unknown ! Called retailer next day, said dpd had a ‘misdelivery’ yesterday, and would be delivered today(7/3/19) . This never happened again. Still chasing the parcel up with supplier, they tell me it should be delivered today 8th March this evening... we will see ! Not the first time with problems with dpd !!!

One of the most unreliable service in the world. Dispatcher writes a name that doesn't exist on the note.. no address nothing. Hence, i believe dispatcher takes the parcel for him or herself. contacted customer care, asked for parcel number, i provide it..He then said he could trace it because the dispatcher never scanned the parcel upon final dispatch. I cant help he said. 2 parcel missing already.

worst service ever. I was outside having a fag when I got the email saying unable to deliver. somehow managed to get a photo of the door but you can see it was from the gate not outside of the front door. took time off work to receive this as well. unable to speak with anyone as its a automated system. they also said they left a calling card which they did not leave. avoid avoid avoid if possible. if anyone has a number to speak with a real person please leave the number.

The worst delivery company ever!! I took time off of work to be in to receive my parcel, they then sent a text saying they couldn’t deliver as no one was home, they took a photo of the front door and left. They didn’t bother to ring my buzzer or anything and said they’d left a calling card which they didn’t. Tried to talk to someone on the chat which is useless because they just disconnect you. They’re incompetent and lazy and just plain rude! Had nothing but trouble with DPD. Avoid!!

3 parcels went missing in 2 weeks. Tracking shows items going back to depot several times saying premises closed! (a house!). This after I have stated a safe place or shop to leave it. Insist that all merchants do not use DPD when shopping online.

I was waiting for my parcel all morning, the delivery man used the ring which does not work when I called customer service they said the delivery man will deliver it in an hour time as he used the ring which is not working. I was waiting in doorstep more than an hour and no one comes and when I wanted to call again they put me in answer machine saying my parcel will be delivered tomorrow, I tried to contact them but there is only the answer machine. I tried online chat which was worse.

Why the hell do anybody use DPD. Service is apalling. Arranged fkr my daughters laptop to be delivered to local pharmacy as pick up point. All confirmation messages said it would be delivered to Rowlands between 13.45 and 14.45 pm but guess what I arrived home at lunchtime to find a card through the door , attempted delivery. Took ages to find a human contact number for DPD and at great expense as all numbers are premium rate. Kept on hold for about 20 mins and was then advised I would get a callback within the hour. Some 3 hrs later received callback advising that at 4.00am that morning, some idiot had amended the delivery address to my home address (DPD unable to explain why) but failed to notify me !!!!!!! Had I known, I may have been able to make alternative arrangements. My daughter has now missed her deadline for an important UNI presentation THANKS TO THE INCOMPETENT FOOL WHO CAUSED THIS. Customer services sooooooo patronising and couldnt give a toss.

Wouldn't deliver on the day to Halfords. Then decided to deliver to my house the next day where I had not requested. It was then stole from the shed. Thanks.

Liers! First time a ghost with my surname signed for my parcel. 2nd time i apparently changed my delivery requested time.. again my ghost did it. Then they always try to blame the companies i order from. The lies never add up!.. while i am alwaysat home sitting waiting on them!

Just spent 45 minutes trying to get through to Customer Services - eventually got through and they listened to my complaint .....said there was nothing they could do...I asked to be put through to a supervisor (Josh ?) and then he rudely put the phone down on me !! What a caring department convincing me that I will NEVER use DPD again....job done DPD !!

I paid for next day delivery 1/3 and gave instructions to deliver to neighbour, they didn’t and tried to deliver to me when I wasn’t in and now it’s coming on the 4/3 when it should have been yesterday. What a waste of money 😡

Sat in front room all day watching TV. In a cul de sac so any delivery van has to go up and then turnaround. No DPD van at all all day. 16:25 got a sorry you weren't in message! A patent lie! A message saying a note had been left. Another lie. A photo? Guess what? A pitch black photo! What a joke. Driver obviously cut off early. If I could give a zero rating I would.

previous 5 star review is by my mate at the depot - I can't let him get away with that after what I see daily there - they really just don't care (but they pay well!)
