If I could give 0 stars, I absolutely would. I am absolutely disgusted with the service (or lack of it) from DPD. I booked and paid for collection and next day delivery with additional insurance yesterday for a really urgent item that I needed delivering in time for Christmas as due to illness I was not able to deliver it to the recipient in person. It cost me over £ 30.00 to do this but the pick up never happened. I contacted DPD today who told me that pick ups and deliveries are not guaranteed and my only option was to re-book the pick up for today. I asked if they would refund the difference between standard and next day delivery as they didn't provide next day delivery and they said no the didn't do this. At this point the online agent just stopped typing any further info and after several minutes, the only option was for me to manually re-book a pick up for today. I am astounded that this company can get away with this terrible level of service. Surely it is against trading laws to charge for a service that you don't deliver?

Apparently usual excuse of the driver could not find my address on two consecutive days. Spent money on payed phone line only to be told lies by the handler saying that the parcel would be redelivered and the driver would call me on my mobile. Eventually picked up the parcel from the depot, of the 6 people waiting 4 had the same tale of driver could not find address. Basically its easier not to deliver than deliver late, company could not find its own A**E if it used both hands.

on 2 occasions waiting at home -off work to be sent a text saying no one was at home!!!!- had to waste 2 hours to collect my parcel myself. when checked looked like the driver took a photo of the outer gate and disappeared no effort to call,ring, or knock on the door!!!!! completely unreliable

They only get one star because of a lack of alternatives, they seem incapable of delivering within the timescale they advertise and make up stupid excuses to justify their failures. Will tell anybody who asks never to use this service

If I could give you a -5 star rating I would. Appalling. Ordered from Red Bubble who shop with DPD. Now on day 6 of the saga and still waiting for my delivery. 4 times I have gone to website and said I want parcel left with a neighbour ( I live in a flat on a road surrounded by shops and bars and have multiple neighbours to sign for me). 2 notifications to say they couldn't deliver because no one was in ( completely ignoring instructions and blatantly lying. No door knock no bell ring my boyfriend was in on second fictitious attempt and is not deaf). Also waited in from 6am -22.00 pm and then find out they arent bothering coming. Liars and time wasters do not use.

I tracked my parcel to being delivered to a person called Davis I've been to all neighbours and no one called that I wasn't left a card so do not know which house Yet someone else had their parcel delivered to close not road by a dpd driver so I've been onto close to see if mine is there but but there isn't any number 19 same as mine on close So I've ordered my next parcel to go to a store near me Can't trust them to get the address right Looks like they deliver to any street provided it's in area

I don't quite know where to begin... I'm writing this review on behalf of my daughter, who is a minor, she ordered a parcel for a Christmas gift (mine actually and at the time of writing I still don't know what it is!), however her delivery has been arranged so many times, she's been told it was going to be delivered one evening and she sat up late waiting for it -- no delivery, she was told it was going to be delivered a couple of days ago and so stayed in all day waiting -- no delivery. Yesterday she called me at work, in tears as she had been notified, via the app, that the parcel was now back on it's way to a depot a few miles away from where we live. I called DPD's customer service team and spoke to a lady that sounded like she was going to sort things out for me, it was mid afternoon when I called, around 3pm, she sounded sympathetic and said she would call back, as of now (it's 12.32 the next day as I write this review) I have heard nothing from this atrocious delivery company. Would never, ever recommend. Well DPD, if my 16-year-old daughter is upset at Christmas that will ruin my Christmas and that will never do! If anyone from DPD bothers to read this reviews, please, please, please SORT IT!

2 Christmas treats 2 none deliveries' by DPD JOHN LEWIS , TK MAXX , COUNTRY ATIRE, please change your delivery services from DPD as they are giving you a bad name

Disaster, Terrible courier. My mother in law sent me a parcel with Bartolini unfortunately. For international delivery in Uk them cooperate with Dpd courier. After 2 weeks the parcel has not been delivered. None is in charge to sort it out the issue, Dpd customers service very dishonest every day told me something different them lied to me for a week. I am shocked and disappointed.

Two deliveries one to a neighbour but card through the wrong door so parcel picked up by someone else! I had to chase it up to find my parcel. Second delivery, did not knock on our door but dropped it into a neighbours drop box, husband heard card being dropped in, went to the door and driver said they had knocked but no reply. Sloppy and poor service

I am totally disgusted with this company. My parcel was postponed until the next day 5 days in a row. Then they gave me an hour window and didn't show up on the Friday. I needed the parcel for the following Monday and so called them on Saturday morning. After 20 minutes. I managed to speak to someone who blind transferred me to the business department who obviously couldn't help me. The guy put me back through to the main query line but I had to queue again for 29 minutes. I explained the situation and the woman said it was because the 1st line of address wasn't provided but I have proof that it was. The best part of this is that while I was on hold, the automated hold voice told me my parcel was at the Oldbury depot which means they could have called me at any point that week for the information but decided not to. I managed to get them to guarantee that I would get my parcel by 10:30 Monday morning. Guess what? No parcel. I called them and complained again and they said that my parcel had not been upgraded even though on Saturday, they said it had! On top of all of this, I still don't have it, even though it was due for delivery for today. To add insult to injury, they keep sending me messages saying “your delivery date has been changed as requested“ which really, really ticks me off because I didn't request any of these repeatedly changed delivery dates. It's extremely poor customer service, I have never experienced anything as shoddy or disorganised in my life. Never, ever use them. If you ever plan to have something delivered, check who they use for your delivery beforehand otherwise you are extremely unlikely to receive it anytime soon.

Drivers don't even attempt to deliver and take illegible photos of the non existent calling card left behind. It's not good enough. You then get an email saying "We're sorry we missed you". Actually.. you don't give a f*@ck because you didn't try in the first place.
