Emma at Leeds Bradford Airport branch is extremely abrupt boarding on the rude side she talks over you. I ended up walking out of the office and back to the airport and rented from Avis. Emma should really not be working in a customer facing environment.

At best incompetent, at worst fraudulent. Easirent are very cheap, but I think they only manage this by making a series of charges which are verging on dishonesty. I have rented from Easirent in Edinburgh three times and had the following issues: 1. Every time, I've picked up the car after dark and there has been pre-existing damage (scratched alloys all 3 times) not recorded on the checkout sheet. The first time they tried to charge me... so thereafter I check the car extremely carefully before leaving and again in the morning. The third time they tried to charge me because it was after 10am the next day when I phoned to report the damage (I'd arrived at my destination after 1am). I suspect they may charge everyone that rents cars for these scratches, repeatedly, and never repair them. 2. On 3rd occasion, car wasn't ready for pickup when it should have been. I agreed to take it with 1/2 a tank of fuel (this was marked on the checkout sheet) & returned it with the same (and took a photo). I was promised my fuel deposit would be returned. Only on checking my credit card statement was it apparent they had charged me £52, completely incorrectly & without notification. I'm still arguing to get this returned. 3. They demand additional documentation when you turn up to pick the car up that isn't apparent in documentation from third party rental websites. I was asked for passport & proof of address on the 3rd occasion (in addition to the documents I had been told to bring i.e. my driving license, check code & credit card) & the member of staff tried to blame it on the rental website. This just created a load of hassle; clearly if Easirent want to get custom through websites, it's Easirent's responsibility to ensure that the websites pass on the appropriate information to their customers. All in all, this is an appalling company. I've rented cars from plenty of companies around the world & never had so much hassle over what should be a very straightforward transaction. If you want to take advantage of their cheap prices, be very very careful. I'm not going to make the mistake a 4th time.

The service has been atrocious. Having arrived on a sunny weekend morning to collect our car booked for 10am, we were asked to wait in a queue that extended down three flights of stairs. The wait lasted almost an hour and a half. Our plans for a day trip have been ruined - we were not able to get our car and leave London until after noon. Despite this, the staff had a very brazen attitude. Would not recommend- if you value your time, please book elsewhere!

After paying through the nose in insurance and rental fees with this company before I even left the shabby office in the countryside, I knew I had made a mistake going with Easi rent. The first sign was after making my booking I didn't receive a confirmation email to check my booking. Upon arriving in Belfast I (luckily) remembered the name I had booked with and gave them a call to understand where I was to meet them. We were taken 3 miles outside of the airport to pick up the car post a lengthy wait to get sorted with them taking my details of which they should have already had. The car cost 280 for 5 days. On my last day the called me claiming I had only booked the car until 10AM despite my flight being at 9.30PM and despite the fact I had paid upfront for 5 whole days (at the time of calling it was 4 and a half days). When I called mark at customer services he spoke to me in a very unprofessional manner telling me that I ''should listen to him and stop rambling on''. I was appalled at his lack of social skills and threatening manner over the phone and I will never be returning to this money grabbing dodgy rental company again. I ended up paying for an additional day of 78 pounds despite having paid for 5 days previously. This could have easily been avoided had they have explained the check out times properly upon pick up and sent a confirmation email.

PLEASE......PLEASE......PLEASE Do not use Easirent. It was by far the worst car rental experience of my life. DO NOT get sucked in by the low rental price. They are charging me over double the amount quoted and are refusing to refund me the money. They particularly prey on foreigners and manipulate them into paying extra fees. I've disputed the charge with my credit card company. And I'll continue to add this review to ALL the Easirent (or FOX) reviews I can find.

I rented a car from Easirent from 25/7/17 to 31/7/17 at the following address : ER TRAVEL SERVICES LTD EASIRENT BIRMINGHAM AIRPORT C/O CROWNE PLAZA NEC PENDIGO WAY, BIRMINGHAM . I have rented cars from around the world and I must say that this has been my absolute worst car rental experience in my life. I have never dealt with a Company that actually tries to cheat the customer. Unfortunately I did not get a chance to read the reviews before I rented the car, as I read now that several customers have faced the same plight as I have. I never thought that one would find people of such dishonesty in the UK, but this experience has left such a bitter taste in my mouth. The business model of this company is to rip customers off and make money, rather than do it the old fashioned way by being honest and scrupulous. When I went to first rent the car I got the first whiff that something was not right. They forced me to leave a GBP 1250 deposit on my card. The guy behind the counter told me that I could reduce the deposit only by buying insurance at GBP 150. The car was quite dirty on the outside and the front left side was completely scratched and dented. This was circled in my sheet (have a photograph). When I returned the car at 6 am in the morning it took me almost an hour to finish the paperwork. They ripped me off for the following issues which I know I had not caused. 1. 2 Stone chips on windscreen : The car windscreen was quite dirty to begin with. The two dots were not visible to the naked eye. One had to run a finger over the windscreen to notice the dot. Unless one knew of this problem it could not have been noticed. When I asked the inspector where the dot was he asked me to run my finger over the spot to feel it. In all the time that I drove around I never noticed any stone chips hitting the car. I think this is just a scam as there was no way I could have noticed this at the time of renting the car. Charge: GBP 180 2. Minor abrasion to Drivers Door edge: This was a small scratch along the side of the door hardly 1 mm long. I know I did not do this because the car was parked in my Doctor friends house for all the days and there was nothing around with ample car parking space. Again this could not have been noticed at the time of renting the car, unless one used a magnifying glass. Charge: GBP 95 3. Front Alloy wheel scratch: This was the same side were the entire from side portion was dented and scratched. It is impossible that the scratch from the side did not extend to the alloy wheel also in the first place. For me to notice such a small scratch is just ridiculous, when the side of the car is so scratched up. Charge: GBP 100 Besides this I was also charged an admin fee of GBP 50. Total charges : GBP 425 When I brought the car in at 6 am, I was first made to wait as the inspector told the attendant there were some problems and they both went away for about 1/2 hour. When they returned they told me about these problems and the total amount of the charges. I know they knew that I have a flight to catch and was anxious to get going. They also know on such issues I have no defence as these are such minuscule issues, which cannot be noticed by the naked eye. I think their only intention is to make money through this route and rip customers off. Countless customers have pointed this point out in their complaints. The guy behind the desk was like a robot and was totally unresponsive to my pleas. The inspector is where the initial problem lies. I think he is trained to find issues like this on helpless customers. They are just a big fraud company and all the employees need to be behind bars for acting like criminals. How can something like this be allowed to go on? My advise : NEVER RENT FROM EASIRENT. THEY ARE A SCAM AND FRAUD COMPANY OUT TO MAKE MONEY. THEY WILL HAVE YOUR MONEY ONE WAY OR THE OTHER AND WILL RIP YOU OFF NO MATTER WHAT. THEY CORNER THE CUSTOMER INTO A SITUATION AND THERE IS NO ESCAPE. THEY SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN.

Easirent ..... I have never in my life complained about a company before but unfortunately I have to comment on the poor service I received. I picked a car up from Luton airport and had to wait over an hour for the car even though there were no other customers. (I was travelling alone with a 6 month old baby so this is a difficulty I didn't need) the car hadn't even been washed. The car was given to me without the staff walking me round to check for any damage etc. I was returning the car to Stanstead where the car hire is not sign posted and therefore not easy to find. The staff were very laid back, I am not sure they realise people have flights to catch!! The staff apparently found an air bubble on one of the car tyres, I don't know which as they didn't offer to show me therefore I never saw said 'air bubble' I explained that the vehicle hadn't been involved in any impact/collision while I had it and was told that air bubbles can just appear even when the car is parked on a driveway as this was for the majority of the week I had it (i don't believe this to be true from my car driving experience). I am a very experienced driver driving over 120,000 miles a year and I am very certain that this didn't happen whilst i had the car. I was told I would have to pay £200 for a new tyre (rather expensive for a Ford Focus tyre?) by this point I had been waiting around for so long that if I didn't just pay I would have missed the flight. After what seemed like forever someone decided they would drive the bus to drop us off at the airport, none of your staff offered to help me load anything into the bus even though I had a baby, a pram, a suitcase and a huge hold-all. When we arrived at the airport the driver opened the boot so fast that my pram fell out ..... if there is any damage I will obviously be getting back in touch. Due to the slow nature of your staff and the issues with the air bubble that I have never seen I had to run through the airport to get my flight, I only just made it. I hire cars all the time normally with Hertz or Enterprise who are so much more professional, helpful and on the ball than your staff. I will never hire a car again with your company. I believe you should look into refunding me the cost of the tyre but I imagine my words will fall on deaf ears. I found it quite interesting that out of the 3 other people on the bus to the airport 2 were also very upset about your service .... therefore 75% of the customers in the bus were unhappy - surely this isn't anything to be proud of. I am sorry but I also believe I was given the car with the air bubble on the tyre therefore you endangered the life of myself and my 6 month old baby ... this unfortunately in my opinion is unforgivable.

I have rented Easement Heathrow Airport a few times and had good cars and good service. But... Following a rental they will send you link to review, and for doing so they will provide you with a promotional offer - like £5 off your next rental or free extra diver etc. I had a long term rental so the extra driver offer was very attractive and would have saved me over £270. I got to the desk outside normal hours and the lone guy there was unable to deal with this offer - after making several phone calls etc. Having just come off a long-haul flight, spending 40 mins at a rental desk was the last thing that I wanted! Eventually I was asked to pay for the extra driver and ring customer services during office hours to claim a refund. I rang and the customer services and the rep. said that to get the refund I would need to send them a copy of the offer e-mail, survey and survey confirmation (even though I presented all of this at the rental desk). I did what was asked, however over 4 months later and 6 e-mails and 2 calls still no refund. To renege on an offer is dishonesty in my book, however, it is the scant regard to customer service after the event that this company exhibits that has really rilled me. My last e-mail to Customer Services was the 20th June 17 - no one responds! Pick this company on displayed price only - forget about their offers.

Having hired from Easirent at Heathrow, I was already nervous about the company. While I waited a number of people were either walking out or getting into huge arguments with the staff about hidden charges, and various extras. But, I got my car and the car was ok. When I returned it, more of the same....but, the man who took the car checked it over and checked the fuel gauge and everything was fine. Then I checked my credit card statement a week later and they had kept 75 pounds from my fuel deposit, implying that I had left it empty, even though the man from the place confirmed it was full. And they didn't even tell me they did it...hoping I wouldn't notice. Still fighting to try and get the money back...shocking service.

This started when they would not accept my driving licence as proof of address! despite it being a legal requirement to have the current address on your licence. Then they would not accept my details from the hotel in which they are positioned as proof of address. Then they wanted me to email them a copy of 2 utility bills from different companies. 3 problems: we use the same company for both gas and electricity, we are in the middle of a switch, one company account closed and the other no bill yet - plus the public computer which they insisted that I use could not email web pages and could not print. Their in house address checking service closed 30 minutes before the booked start time so I consider that they should not accept bookings after that closure. Finally, they took a photo of the address page of the closed account. Then they took £95 deposit for fuel (over twice what the car can hold) and took £1250 when I wouldn't pay their exorbitant insurance fee, AVOID THEM AT CARDIFF AIRPORT

Stay away from Easirent - they're really not so easy at all - you get what you pay for Booked via Expedia. Upon arrival at Machester, Piccadilly branch with my dog I was told that dogs were not allowed in the car I had booked. This was not stated in the reservation details nor was it mentioned in the terms and conditions. Not ideal when the car had been booked to be picked up at 17h00 when most car rental companies close... Expedia said that when the rental details did not mention whether Easirent accepted or didn't accept dogs then they could not be held responsible. How lame is that?? So Expedia didn't even agree to pay the cost difference between my Easirent booked car at 47 pounds and the car I ended up having to get as a walk up customer at Avis round the corner 135 pounds. According to Easirent they did not allow dogs so that they could guarantee allergen-free cars. How ridiculous! Unless they have onboard CCTV or their own Easirent drivers they can't guarantee that their cars are dog or allergen-free! If I had just rented the car then stuck my dog in it all would have been fine and the next renter would have an Easirent car that had had a dog in it even though Easirent somehow like to think they GUARANTEE that their cars are dog allergen-free. In short, Easirent really doesn't make it easy to rent from them. I suppose the other thought is that you get what you pay for - cheap = problems. I'd suggest staying away from Easirent. _____ Update: Following my review elsewhere, they responded "we encourage you to contact our Customer Services Department so that we can find a resolution for you." so I called them. They admitted that their staff had made a mistake and had been wrong to tell me that dogs were not allowed in their cars. They apparently ARE allowed you just have to get the car valeted... Their compensation was 10% off a future booking. I told them that 10% off would not cover the 80 pounds their mistake cost me nor the 1.5 hours they made me waste trying to find another rental car company. I told them that 10% off a future booking doesn't pay my mortgage...They could do no better than that. How lame! Stay well away because their client service is as useless and incompetent as their client facing branch staff.

Total scumbags. These dirtbags lied to me when I got the the Dublin rental location to pick up my car and said the car that I booked was going to cost me more money and instead showed me a smaller car and said that is what I paid for. They also proceeded to tack on hidden fees and expenses and didn't communicate this to me when I paid for my car. These guys are the scum of the earth and shouldn't be allowed to do business.

Easirent Gatwick staff are ABSOLUTE CAR RENTAL SHARKS to say least. I rented a car via Ryanair website and clicked on the insurance AXA and when I showed them that I had insurance 2 staff members insisted that it didn't cover me at all and Only their Insurance did. In haste I bought it and then was let to the car. I was told that I didn't have to check the car as I had bought the maximum cover and given the paper to sign. On further inspection, I realised that the mileage indicated on the form (I'd signed) was not the same as displayed on the car nor was the petrol on full. It was between full and the first quarter but yet it was indicated as full on the form I'd just signed. So I guess my fault for not checking everything as I was concentrating on the bumps and scratches. This to my mind is deception and lying to the client. SHOCKING customer service. Insist on WARNING!!!!!CHECK EVERYTHING BEFORE YOU TAKE POSSESSION OF THE VEHICLE.

already had insurance from AXA that i paid 150 gbp for. When i got to rental office at leeds/bradford airort i knew i was going to get scammed. From the moment we got picked up the driver started talking about how people had damaged cars and not had their insurance and ended up paying hundreds and thousands, complete scam set up, got to the office then was told the insurance i have was not good and i needed theirs. i ended up paying over 340 extra for their insurance as we had crying baby and just wanted to get going. If you stand your ground and dont pay the extra insurance, which you get no paper work for, just a receipt so it probally is off books, they will fleece you when you take the car back and you will end up paying more. AVOID these scammers at all costs. DO NOT HIRE A CAR WITH EASIRENT.
