Absolute waste of money. Used this lounge before and it was great. Clean, tidy, table service, plenty of food and snacks etc. This time around it was scruffy, messy, no food, poor service and noisy. Zero standards. I think it's changed management?

The staff behind the bar were rude and unprofessional. The team leader who was on at the time shouted at one of my friends and jumped down her throat and then when we asked to get served by someone else he would not let her. The customer service was the worst I've experienced. When my friend ask to look at the wine the woman behind the bar responded and said ' there is a que you know' in a very snotty tone. The woman behind the bar then called my friend a liar when she asked for cider the woman got a bottle of tiger out and my friend said that's larger I asked for cider and woman behind the bar went on and on at how my friend asked for tiger. We were all excited to go into the lounge which we paid for and our whole experience was ruined by rude staff.

Unfortunately the lounge was inaccessible due to Faro Airport "improvements". It was a great disappointment and a pity you were not able to warn customers in advance. It happened that I had spoken to one of your members of staff to correct an error on my booking and he said that this lounge wasn't being marketed any more.

Menu was limited. Blonde shouted at me for takin a very important phone call. She had a bad attitude. It was cold due to the air con and when we asked for it to be turned off or down it didn't happen. I have also sent a complaint email and yet to receive a response. Not very impressed as I use the airport lounges regular and this is the first time my personal assistant booked in my name and I won't be using the aspire loung for me, my employees or my clients ever again

We were told by a close friend that doing the lounge experience was outstanding but in fact we found it appalling and put a huge dampener on the start of our journey abroad. We had to wait 20 minutes at the front reception to be welcomed due to insufficient staffing levels. Then once we entered the lounge it was a complete state. Tables were empty but had plates and glasses piled on top of them and no staff in sight to clear the tables. I then had to wait a further 20 minutes to be served at the bar due to that being under staffed aswell. The que for the bar was 27 customers long and only one bar tender. Once I got to the bar and it was my turn there was no glasses to put my gin and tonic in so I had to wait a further five minutes for glasses to be brought out of the kitchen. Also to my partners disgust the bar didn't sell cider! What English establishment doesn't sell cider? Shocked and appalled and after waiting 40 minutes to enter, be seated and then served we left. The staff were doing what they could with the very low staffing resource they had but the management have a lot to answer for regarding our appalling experience. We shall not be returning to this particular lounge and will not be recommending this lounge to anyone.

Did not make it to lounge due to 2 hours queue at security and poor signage to the lounge. Once through passport control you can no longer get to lounge. There should be an access after passport control or you cannot relax in lounge knowing you still have to go through passport control which may have queues. Paid £150 for nothing!

Very disappointed, did not enjoy the experience at all. Food and drinks, both 3rd rate. Left after 10 minutes and went to a Restaurant for proper Food and Drink.

Overcrowded, queues for drinks etc, very poor choice of food. At 11.30 there was choice of congealed pasta (which I cannot eat), or salad bar offering unappetising boiled ham or cheese, also kept running out of boiled ham. No choice of pastries etc. This is the second bad experience of Aspire, previously having tried Terminal 5 Heathrow, which served the same food and didn't provide adequate seating. Will not be chancing a third time.

The whole experience was horrible. We pre-ordered prosecco. The lounge had none and had to get some from somewhere else. The food was disgusting. Only the ham seemed to fly off the shelf. We had trouble finding cutlery and condiments. There was no real bread only what amounted to burger buns minus burgers.Because of the bad food my fiancee was ill for the first part of the holiday. This is the second time we've used this lounge and last time we walked out. It just seems like an expensive place to get an uncomfortable seat and a bad experience. As the man says....never again!

I expected so much and got so little to be honest. No hot food on arrival at all. Had to wait about 20 mins before a paltry amount of pasta arrived. Ok if u like pasta but only enough for one or two people if they were quick. Cold choice poor. No cold meats etc. Ordered a prosecco after long queue at bar only to be told that this needs to be purchased at front desk, ok so another long queue at front desk only to be told, needed boarding pass to purchase even though the lady had dealt with me and my boarding pass 15mins before!!! The fact that we needed to purchase at front desk should have been displayed so that I could have ordered same time as. Checking in surely. I then had to join queue after getting pass and then rejoin bar queue again. Bought a bottle after such a long wait. Still barely any food. Had some peanuts. However staff were polite. Very very disappointed with Aspire lounge for a first time user to be honest. Cleanliness also a big issue. A very mucky environment to relax in. I hope these comments are looked at and something improves as a result.

Extremely disappointing. A long queue to get in with a high walk-up so what was the point of booking in advance - surely a separate queue for those with bookings could be accomodated rather than have to wait for payments to be processed etc? The quality and choice of food was very poor. The lounge was packed with little or no organisation. How on earth can you accept a booking of 18 people in such a small room at a peak time? I left the lounge early and I shall definitely not return.

Upon arrival there was no record of my booking, I showed the lady on reception my confirmation booking and then she left the desk and came back about five minutes later and said there's no tables available so you'll have to sit on the small bistro table by the entrance. I said I've paid for three hours for comfy chairs so I weren't prepared to sit there. Now it's about 15 into my 3 hours. Another member of staff came and said there's one at the back and just pointed for us to go there. The table consisted of a low level chair which was too small to eat from the table in front of you and a high chair... So much for relaxing... Quiet time you must be joking there were at least three tables full of rowdy hen/stags Then there's the food bar ...I had to eat my food from my knee.... What an absolute joke.. Pasta in tomato sauce bread to make your own sandwiches and crackers with cheese squares in wrappers. Oh and we later noticed packets of crisps... The bar... If you don't like tiger beer well then you do without or have a guinnes, extra charge for prossecco which I was aware of beforehand so thought I'd try a gin and bitter lemon only to be told they only have one bitter lemon left... I've visited the Manchester escape before and was 100 % better than Liverpool. Never again will I waste my money
