The Uber Support is extremely unprofessional and frustrating. Whenever you contact them they act like robots and have no solution to the problem and will disconnect the communication unprofessionally. Which shows that Uber had a monopoly in the ride sharing market and is exploiting both the drivers and riders In the attached snapshot I was paid only $8.00 for a 45 minute drive covering 36 km.

After an hour of waiting for an order, I spoke to the driver and they said the place I ordered from wouldn't give him the food. Got on to support, 20 mins later I get a reply saying everything is fine I just have to wait and to use the app. I tell them what the driver said, including the message the driver said, they just said wait for the food. I tell them nope you need to help me, they say wait. I flip out saying the place I ordered from I'd now closed so clearly I need help, I then tell them 3!!! Times it's closed and they still try calling the place to see why the order hasn't left, they then tell me the people at the place won't pick up. I repeat for a 4th time it's because its closed you idiot, then they just reply with, I've refunded your order goodbye. And end the chat. This is about the 10th times I've had awful service with them. Avoid them at all cost worst customer service ever, literally morons.

Uber support / customer service is a joke. I had issues with some promo codes not being applied to my final bill (even though they were originally applied to my order). I asked about this and they asked for a screenshot. After I explained that it was not an email and that the promos vanished from the account and the order (I even gave him a detailed description of what the promo said, times of order and delivery so that he could track it) he said that he couldnt give me a refund without a screenshot. I said I didn't want a refund, I just wanted a way to report this issue so that I could either get my promos back or so that it just wouldn't happen again. He kept asking for a screenshot of the issue. It felt like I was talking to a robot the whole time.. then he ended the chat without anything else. I started a new chat with someone else and explained the SAME thing and he also asked for a screenshot. I think they are just copy pasting from some sort of script because they kept saying the same thing!? Even though I continously said I didn't want a refund just a website or something to report a glitch in the app! I am so frustrated at the end of both interactions.. there's no support to get help unless you want a refund and have a screenshot...

Every Agent hung up the phone call. There was zero communication. I had to resort to internet. I called for my tax records from year 2020 for the IRS because I worked for Uber that year. I will have to report uber as non compliant.

The issue isn't really the drivers but the app itself. There is no way to truly contact support. There is no number to call to speak to someone. There is only automated or text. It feels so lifeless. And let's not forget hidden fees and cancellation charges. I once had to cancel a ride when it said the driver was still 20 minutes away and it charges me more than the trip would have. Lol not like it was 28 degrees and raining ice or anything and after ten at night. If I had waited I could have gotten sick or injured. The collective entity that is Uber only sees profits not people. And that is not just from the riders standpoint either, I have spoken to many drivers who feel misled and misused by this amalgamation of burocracy. It sad really. And we have to use it because it still better than the cab companies because you will get a ride and they do have guidelines they have to follow. And at the end of the day they come across as cowardly and greedy.

My phone fell out of my backpack, i did not see t when i got out of the car, as soon as I crossed the street I went to get my phone and tip the driver. but the phone was gone. tried to get the drivers to stop but he did don't hear me. this was just before 5pm. went into the apartment and got on Uber help chat trying to catch the driver before he got to far way. Buy the time i got thought to the help chat person what had happened, the driver had already got the next ride going. that's all good. the driver said he would being it back within 30 minutes or so. but no he did not. Said he tried calling my phone, the one he had in his car, and no one answered. so he just keep driving and never tried to bring it back. and the help chat person never fallowed up to see if I had got the phone back. So 4.5 hours later I got back on the chat help thing on the PC and got the run around of he tried to call the phone, and so on. I then told her to tel him to take it to where he picked it up and then it got so bad. anyways never will i again get out of the car with out checking all the stuff I have. this needs to change on there part.

Don’t bother calling you will get the run around. Even Uber drivers can’t get help they need.

The reviews are not changing this horrific customer support . I think customers should ban Uber , hopefully that will change the worse customer support I have ever encountered

I ordered 2.3kg of clementines, received a 900g bag. Customer service refused to refund me. In fact they wanted me to leave a bad review to Food Basics. Why are they okay with trashing Food Basics reputation to help themselves gain $5 when Food Basics did nothing wrong. Greedy, selfish, manipulative company.

I had a horrendous driver with whom the journey was dangerous and distressing. I actually had to cut the journey short and find alternative means of travel. Uber refused to refund, despite me very politely explaining the situation multiple times. A refund would have cost them very little, but the refusal has left me with no faith in the company so I shall no longer use them; which considering I'm a frequent user, will cost them much more.

I was charged $9.99 for something I don’t know and I asked the Uber customer service what is that for but 5 days gone and I still don’t hear anything from them.

If there was a “less than 1 star” that’s what I would give them. I applied to drive with Uber and they failed my background check stating it was because my in state license couldn’t be verified. I told them I’m in the Military so my license is a different state and all of the sudden the problem was my motor vehicle report. Both times they told me I should file a dispute with Checkr (the service they use for checks) but my report didn’t match anything Uber told me and said I was considerable for employment. I had to call out and argue with the Uber support and send them pictures of the report to prove they were lying before they said I would get a call in the next 24 hours. Probably the worst support service I’ve ever experienced. It took over a week to get to the point of “someone will call you”.

Safety concerns with uber putting drivers in danger with incorrect and unsafe map directions. Service would not address issue. Also there mistake cost drivers money but they do not adequately compensate for lost revenue. Service is arrogant and unhelpful.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE OF ALL TIME AWARD GOES TO UBER SUPPORT!!!! I called them once the person said your document(driver abstract) was made in 2021 which is not valid when I confirmed with him that it was issued in 2023 which stated right on the the top he hung up the phone on me.. I don’t know what to say about it but this is the worst experience I had for the lifetime. Uber should really hire some professional people

BEWARE, UBER RIDES ARE NOT SAFE!!! Uber does not security screen their drivers, in fact they have a disclaimer that they are not responsible for safety once you book their rides. An über driver called Ceasar seized my i-pone forcefully from me right before my ride ended and he dropped me off, I have provided uber with his name and registration but they claim they gave him a call and he is not responding to their call so there is nothing they can do. Please be careful beware Beware!! his name is Cesar , i believe he planned to do worse that night he picked me up in NY. See his license and plate details and photos attached. Had a very bad experience. The driver first ask for the pin and then after the pin. Within 2 mins of time he was my car is not working and even CNG is over. When I tried to cancel the trip UBER is asking for money and even the driver. The driver is very bad and arrogant. Infact even Uber customer service or the app is not at all helping. Within 5 mins of my journey I had to leave the taxi. Service is extremely bad

I tried to order an Uber with my friend and while I was waiting for my friend the Uber drove off. I tried to find him but I couldn't. I also tried to complain but it was so hard to find that I couldn't. I don't understand why it was so hard to say something. Except I do. Uber makes it hard and I'm really upset at how hard it is to complain. It's actually ridiculous.

Zero customer service. I hate companies like this. We should boycott them until they have to go bankrupt and fail. I've had enough. It's time to make companies pay for bad service. Uber is on the list for terrible service. They need to be punished by the public. Don't use them.
