Uber treats its drivers like a slave. Takes 60% of their earnings and blocks their accounts if they do not wish to take long hauls. You pay us less and when we question you block us. This is unfair and I call it modern day slavery. They blocked my account and now they don’t have any answers why they blocked me. Lol. Today again I asked a supervisor named SY5 why is my account blocked and she said call background check company. When I called them they sent me a report saying your license is valid and we never said Uber that it’s is invalid. I need answers as you guys have my information and I feel it is being compromised.

Title: Uber’s Exploitative Practices: A Driver’s Nightmare I started driving for Uber with hopes of earning some extra income and flexibility. However, my experience with Uber has been nothing short of a nightmare. Firstly, Uber’s constant algorithm changes make it impossible to predict earnings, leaving drivers at the mercy of the app. There are days when I barely make enough to cover gas, let alone earn a decent wage. Secondly, Uber’s rating system is incredibly unfair. A few low ratings from passengers, whether justified or not, can severely impact a driver’s ability to get rides. It feels like Uber prioritizes the satisfaction of passengers over the well-being of its drivers. Thirdly, Uber’s lack of support for drivers is appalling. When I’ve had issues with fares or problematic passengers, getting a response from Uber’s support team is like pulling teeth. It’s clear that Uber prioritizes profits over the safety and well-being of its drivers. Overall, my experience with Uber has been one of exploitation and disregard for its drivers. I would strongly advise anyone considering driving for Uber to think twice and explore other, more ethical options.

I had scheduled an Uber to pick us up at 11:10. The driver was in the wrong spot, 1/2 mile away, and wouldn't come to the correct spot. He couldn't speak English and was lost. So, he decided to leave us stranded in Baltimore!. Uber just sends you a text saying we're sorry it didn't work out, try again! On top of all that they charged me an extra $25, which I'm disputing. Don't take Uber. Based on my experience their drivers don't speak English and don't know where they are going. Unreliable!

If anything is missing from your order, they will say there's nothing they can do. It some of the worst customer service around. Save your money and use Grubhub or Doordash.

If there was a no star option I would have picked that. You can’t communicate with Uber and be carful they don’t sign you up for one of their “pay programs” you never even knew about because you can only block the vendor on your card. My goal is to never use them again.

As a Uber drive I think u er is unfair and I ask why would they think that we as driver should get paid less than $1.00 per mile ! Not sure who is in charge of sending out these rides. It I’m over it 😡

Recently created an UBER rider account, tried multiple times to add my photo to my new account. Contacted customer service multiple times and they kept sending me info on how to change my existing photo even though I don't have one. To date, I still was not successful not had my question probably answered. UBER customer service are MORONS! I'd give zero stars if I could!

I had a satisfaction rate in 87% because in several deliveries of different dates the address is incorrect ( apartment building, apartment number and my last one the gps sent me an apartments complex and the customer live in a house) when you try to communicate with the costumer usually don’t response. Uber support listen to you and tell you to keep doing the job and then without reason desactive you. The experience was really bad , I put over 3000 miles on my car a month , I don’t see the compensation to be 7 hours behind the wheels, wear out you car and received $3.00 for a 10 miles delivery. I hope soon the Justice put a stop to this exploitation of people and their vehicles For me never , never again as a driver or as a customer.

Driver or customer service do not give you explanations, they just listen to you and tell you to keep doing the job and then they deactivate you. The experience was really bad, I put over 3000 miles on my car a moth and I don't see the compensation to be 7 or more hours behind the wheel, wear out your car and receive $ 3.00 for a 10 or more mile trip. I hope that Justice will put a stop to this exploitation of people and their vehicles.

The first incident happened. I had two $5 off promo coupons in my account. I called to order food. The promo didnt work. I called Uber. (( I cannot stand their foreign cust serv rep they are so rude)) They swore up and down I didnt have the promos even though I looked at them in my acc for 3wks. She said Ill give u $5 credit and hung up on me. She never did. Calling these ppl to get any help is like calling Jesus waiting for a reply. U will go crazy trying to gt someone to call u bak or to speak to a manager. But I went to look bk unto my acc after speaking to a rep and they were gone. The two $5 promo that I saw in my account for 3wks are now gone. How? Uber lied and said that they cant delete anything out if ppl acc. LIEESSS. So 3days later I called for a ride to my chemo appt. It was $10.94. The driver couldnt find my house. I saw her pull up on the app and she set there. I called uber they hung up on me. I called the lady & she couldnt speak ENGLISH. What happened to hiring bilingual ppl? The lady pulled off. She still got paid and I was left at home w no chemo treatment and $2 that they refunded me. After I called and raised hell for a week ((which they dont like calling you back nor will the agent let a manager know to contact you. At all cost they will hang up on you and not care about taking your money)) made reviews a manager finally called me and gave me 30 credit on my UBER account. Okay Thanks. Im sitting at home because I cant work really I get biweekly chemo and take chemo pills daily. I ended up using the Uber cash for rides and food & it left me at $27 which left me with $3 in uber cash. This whole time Ive been using the Uber Cash it had no problem automatically taking the money from the Uber cash. I go into the app to order food. The order came up to $15 and change. I had about $12 on my bank card. I figured with the Uber cash that I wouod have enough. NO. UBER CHARGED ME 18 for a sandwhich was $7 and fries $4. Service fee $2.99 delivery fee was waived depending on the restaurant. NOW MY ACCOUNT IS IN THE NEGATIVES because uber cash didnt work ALL OF A SUDDEN the used all th3 cash out of my bank which left me in a negative balance of $4 and change and Im being taxed $35 from my bank because of the over draft. How does a $11 and change meal get to $18??? These people are thieves. AT THUS POINT IM DONE WITH UBER AND FOOD DELIVERY APPS. They have these foreign ppl who DONT GIVE A DAMN ABT THE CUSTOMER NOR DO THEY CARE ABT THEIR SERVICE. THEY TAKE UR MONEY AND WONT LET U SPEAK TO A MANAGER. IM literally thinking about taking them to court for my PAIN & SUFFERING

Uber eats gives me deliveries all the time where restaurant is closed or someone else picked up order. I get them everyday and get compensated maybe once or twice a month. I talk to a supervisor name Jean and a rep name Ajay. They both lied to me and said I get compensated all the time which they can check my account that I RARELY ask or get compensated. Then I would give Ajay the information he asked for and he would lie again and say he couldn’t find it or something!!! All they do is lie and give you the runaround and play games!!! I work my but off and its totally disgusting how they treat the drivers!!

I was charged 235 dollars for a ride for 3 miles. Normally 13 dollars. I was able to get a hold of the customer service and they said it happens sometimes and I will get my money back in a week. No apologies at all no compensation. I hate Uber and will never use those scumbags again.

Hello I’m sorry but Uber have no care in the world for their driver they always want to believe the customer that make false allegations against a driver who’s clearly a Diamond driver status with a 4.99 rating and Uber is so quick to Deactivate a diamond driver because they lied if that was the case the driver would have a very bad rating only because they wanna believe what the customer saids. The customer always make up lies about everything just get a free ride smh 🤦‍♀️ Hell I should make up a lie saying I was sexually assaulted by a Uber driver because you guys would have to believe me because I said I was assaulted you guys are pathetic and should be ashamed as giant corporations to cater to the customer every needs and believes the lies told & it happens like 3 years again. Another example Uber always want to believe they was in car accident and got hurt when it was as all lies but Uber wanted to believe them so their goes Uber given the passenger the satisfaction of them lying to them and paying all their fake medical complaints because Uber is will believe every single word the passenger make up with out proper proof and protocol when it’s all lies that the passenger got hurt this is a joke they didn’t even tell the police in the accident report they was In the vehicle and got so hurt so tell me Uber how u gonna believe this idiot passengers who are 1/2 or maybe about 99.9 % high of weed and drunk but that’s ok to make lies right Uber

Messaged uber support because I was being spammed with emails and texts to update my expired drivers license for an account application I never finished setting up years ago. I had to reiterate my request to either unsubscribe me from these messages or just delete the application six different times because the support agent just kept telling me to either update the license or delete my entire account which is the same as my Uber and UberEATS account. Eventually the support agent stumbled on the answer of unsubscribing me but in the same message he told me he couldn't permanently delete my account so he clearly still didn't understand... When I tried to review the service and was typing out my response/the reason I was upset the review box suddenly closed out and I couldn't find any where to reopen it.

I had an almost laughably bad experience with Uber customer service. It almost sounds like a tale of fiction, but I kept my phone in my pocket and it somehow placed an Uber Eats Delivery to my place. Cancelling the order as others have said means NO REFUND. I received a call from customer service and they explained if I wished to cancel the order, I would have to pay the FULL price because that was their policy. The shopper had not even begun the accidental order that was placed. I could understand if the order had actually started or it was delivered already, but to be charged the full price for literally nothing is absurd. In the end, it was only $12 they got from me thankfully. However, it really demonstrated how money grubbing they are as a company. I deleted the app immediately after the conversation. Never again will I use their app and will be using Lyft from now on. I doubt Uber customer service cares at all, which is the sad thing.

I had been using Uber to book taxi rides for a while and Deliveroo to order food. My phone had run out of storage space so I removed the Deliveroo app for the time being. Since you can order food on the Uber app as well I tried to order food delivery with Uber. I had saved my home address on Uber and that was the only address I had saved. I also had the geolocation turned on. I ordered food from a restaurant on Uber and I noticed they didn't ask me to confirm the address like Deliveroo does (or even Uber when you order a taxi). It just placed the order automatically. Straight after confirming the order I was checking at what time it would arrive and I realised Uber had automatically selected a completely random address 6 km away from my home address, an address I have never lived in nor ever visited before. I tried cancelling the order but it was super difficult to find the option. The order was marked as being made so there was yet no driver to contact. At the end I managed to find an option to change the adress but understandably it told me it was too far to be delivered there so my only option was to cancel it and I was changed as the order was being process. From there I tried in any way possible to contact Uber but realised it is almost impossible to contact their customer service. I managed to get in contact with them through Facebook to ask for a refund since this was clearly an app malfunction rather an errorr on my side since it didn't even ask me the delivery address in the first place. They were really rude and condescending to me and told me they could not refund me since I had cancelled the order and the restaurant had already accepted it. I explained them that when I made the order it got automatically accepted by the restaurant (unlike with Uber drive where you have to wait for the driver to accept the order), there was no way for me to cancel it before that and even so it took me just a couple of minutes to cancel it so I doubt the restaurant had already started to prepare the food anyway. I didn't want the restaurant or the driver to waste their time and that's why I cancelled it. It felt I was talking to a bot or something and even though I tried to explain the issue they kept telling me they would not refund me under any circumstance and if I was to send any more replies they would stop replying. They didn't offer any explanation as to why the app selected a completely random address that I never visited before 6 km away from my home without asking for a confirmation even though I had the location turned on and saved my address on the app. I am extremely disappointed with what happened and doing some research online I found out this occasions seem to happen quite often with the Uber app, both for rides and food deliveries. I have stopped using their sevice as thankfully there are many other options available. I would not reccomend this app to anyone since if you were to have any issues there is practically no way of contacting them, and if you manage to get in contact with them they simply gaslight you and offer no useful help.
