I have recently purchased 6 40W BC basking lamps and have been left completely unsatisfied and scammed. Within the first day of installing the first of 6 it broke, let down soon after I installed the second of 6 in which it broke 2-3 days later despite said 'bulb life expectancy'. Im utterly annoyed and Ideally would love a refund for the two 'dud' bulbs that broke. Completely unreliable product.

Product page says items ordered before 2pm dispatched same day. This did not happen so contacted support to ask why. Was told it is actually 12:00pm and referred to a terms and conditions page that was not shown on either the product page or at the checkout. Needed Taurrus mites urgently and now have to wait another 24 hours during which these can spread. No apologies from support, didn't seem to care. Will not be using again.

I ordered for a bulb for my tortoise on an urgent basis (as the incumbent one fused) - tortoise owners will understand the urgency here. I paid for premium shipping (via DPD) and got a confirmation for next day delivery. I waited for the consignment throughout the planned delivery date, but in vain. I wrote to Internet Reptile but in vain. I reached out to DPD depot and was promised delivery next day morning, which again failed. Finally, DPD apologised and said they will deliver on Monday (today) and I should ask for refund of the shipping charges from Internet Reptile (who will get reimbursed from DPD). Since all my emails to Internet Reptile's customer service was being ignored for past 3 days, I reached out to its Facebook page. Post a brief chat, wherein I mentioned that if I'm not assisted (which I wasn't) I will be compelled to review them on social media and guess what - the person responding gave me a long lecture on covid (as if I'm from Mars and as if DPD mentioned covid as a reason) and blocked me from their Facebook help messenger. I will not mention my opinion, as the aforementioned review should be enough for customers to judge.

I received my terrarium broken, the 2nd one got lost in the post leaving my reptile cold and stressed. Not happy and will not be using again.

They refused to uphold the price promise on their site when I found the item for £10 cheaper elsewhere after buying it and then ignored me when I provided proof and pointed out the Trading Standards guidelines on Price Promises. Be very wary about buying from them because their Price Promise is nothing more than a fancy sticker to get you to trust them. Shop around very thoroughly!

used the service twice, website states sameday or next day dispatch, being 10 days and still no package, last time live feed arrived, they all died within a few days, live in London, so no excuse for late delivery.

Internet reptile wouldn't provide tracking info for my live food , when I eventually got it I received lots DOA and the 500 pack crickets contained maybe 100? There was about 10 live ? Bean weevils also lots DOA we well as DOA waxworms. The bean weevils can get out of the ventilation holes in the boxes they sent , therefore they were everywhere. I sent photos , when internet reptile promised but didn't deliver any replacement I asked for a refund. I ended up having to buy from pets at home. They said I'd get a refund and that was 6 days ago and I'm still chasing. So unfortunately i did not get this customer satisfaction or 5 star experience they claim to offer. Really poor experience. I'll be buying livefood regularly for my amphibians and bearded dragon... I was looking for a reliable supplier. Really disappointed

Ordered some bits and pieces for my gecko, the bedding arrived in a split bag and leaking out of the delivery box! I had to empty it straight out as was leaking everywhere over my house. Sent complaint straught away and was advised unless I had photographic evidence they wouldn’t do anything to help. I advised I had to empty it as was leaking everywhere so didn’t have chance to photograph it. Again refused to help. Won’t be ordering again.

Bought a lamp that arrived faulty, sent this back and no refund received. Have forwarded proof of posting etc and still they refuse to refund the item saying they never received it. Poor company and very rude customer service

Similar issues to Jake Mason who posted one week ago. £50 of frozen rodents left on my doorstep by courier with no notification of delivery by them or Internet Reptile. Discovered the following morning, still on doorstep, completely defrosted. Internet Reptile have told me they will not refund me as I should have been in for the delivery. If I'd received notification of delivery (as most reputable companies do), I would have retrieved the parcel shortly after it had been left and not been £60 out of pocket (£9.99 delivery charge!). My last order (during the summer) was also delivered late in the afternoon and was partially defrosted. I will not be using Internet Reptile again due to their sub-standard courier and poor customer service. Good luck with the refund Jake!

Due to a lack of communication between Internet Reptiles chosen delivery service, I received £50 worth of completely thawed rodents and am now being ignored via email. No refund yet, still waiting.

Poor customer service, livefood did not arrive as per the speedy delivery method, poor response from the company. Useless courier service used. Still awaiting refund. No point did the company apologize. Avoid them.
