Years ago, I purchased a stand alone alert system for my mom that relied on the phone line in her home. It would notify me first if an event occurred, and if I did not respond, it would call 911. She thankfully did not have a serious event in the time she had it. This past November, it failed and we decided it was time upgrade to a better system since she was getting older ( she's 97 now) and still living in her home. After doing some research and reading several reviews, we decided on Mobil Help. We have been very pleased with our choice! As her son, I helped her sign up and get the system which was very straightforward and simple. The representative I spoke with was very personable and extremely helpful answering all my questions. We opted for the added cost "Fall Detection" pendant, which is motion sensitive and sends an alert if the person has fallen and cannot respond. After receiving the equipment, set up and activation took only minutes. We did find some things about the system that we found frustrating. My mom is very short and the cord that was supplied was too long and difficult to adjust to the right length. After having it in operation for about a week, we found the most problematic thing was the pendant. At first, she was wearing it too long and as it swung around, or got hit, it would send an alert and we would get a call that an event had occurred. These were false alarms, and were cancelled. After calling to ask why this was happening, I was told she needed to wear it shorter to prevent this. Well, she had to devise her own cord to make it shorter, but it did not prevent the false alarms. The last time it happened, she had taken off the pendant and placed it on the table, and got a call. This type of pendant is VERY sensitive to movement, and is not right for everyone. Once again ,I called their customer service and explained the situation and asked if we could go to the standard pendant to eliminate this issue. Their customer service is awesome! You talk to a real person right away, and our issue was resolved in no time, a new pendant mailed out, plus the the additional charge for the first pendant was credited back! I have been very impressed with how they have handled our issues, and made every effort to make it right.

My family has been most happy with my MobileHelp because they can locate me at any time night or day or wherever I may be. Also that in wearing the my bracelet at home I can have 24 hour coverage. I do not have to call in my intended location as with former program because I wear my unit wherever I go. They love seeing my exact location. The lock door box is a great idea to allow responderes access. My daughter who is a nurse loves the idea that the responderes can get the critical medical information needed without having to try to get it from her first. If the price holds for the coming year I will be happy.

As far as equipment and response I have been happy however I have never had to use it for an emergency it has given me peace of mind knowing I could get help as live alone. The only complaint I have is that they do not give the $25 gift card they advertise if you get someone to sign up. I feel this is false advertising and needs investigation into . I refer many people to the company and if I don't call and request the card they ignore it.

Before I go to the ranch, I call Mobile Help. They have my temporary location out in the country in case I fall, get hurt while working, get shot or get snakebit. It is incredible how much anxiety is relieved knowing that I can do what I want to do and still be a push button away from help if I need help.

I've had Mobile Help for over a year now... once, when I wrecked one of my wristband, they quickly sent me a new one - no charge. I often forget to test my system once a month or so. The little blue reminder light stopped working, which is why I forget.

It is difficult to write a review when all is going good and have not had to use the service. Although we did have an incident that makes me extremely happy we have the service. One evening my wife forgot to remove the pendent from around her neck and inadvertently hit the call button during sleep. At 2:00 am we had the rescue banging at our door asking if everything was OK. It was an embarrassment, but we are happy and thankful for the response. WE are pleased to know that we can rely and depend on MobileHelp in an emergency.

Excellent company. Their response is immediate when something happens to me. I am more than satisfied. I highly recommend them to anyone who is elderly and lives alone or anyone who has health problems. I can still drive but never get into my car without my safety alarm button hanging around my neck. I feel more confident knowing that if anything happens to me help will be on on the way immediately. If I have any questions when I call and speak to a REAL person not a recorded voice, It takes me back to the days when service was important. I am 86 years old and have always been independent. Asking for help has always been out of the question. MobileHelp has been a solution acceptable for me and my husband and children. I have had MobilHelp for three years and another company for three or four years prior to that, so I know what security it gives. Last year I fell, and could not reach my husband, both phones were out of reach, I was finally forced to use my button. It was a wonder for me. Within fifteen minutes there was help calling from my kitchen door. Because I hit my head pretty hard I was taken to the ER and checked out OK. I do not worry about being alone any more. PS My husband. at 89, wears our pendent when I have to leave him alone now.

It works! I have tested it all over the USA and with rare exceptions, I always get help and they know where I am located. As of this time, I have not had to use it in an emergency, but am confident about it. The one occasion I could not raise anyone, I also could not use my cell phone. I was in the middle of the Olympic National Park in NW Washington State and there were nothing but mountains around. Otherwise, I have always been able to contact them I am confident that during an emergency, MobileHelp will do the job I expect.

MobileHelp people are WONDERFUL! i was trying to test the unit and apparently did something wrong. But the EMT's arrived along with my other respondents to be sure we were all right. MobileHelp does work and I would recommend this to anyone living alone. The response time was much faster than calling 911 and I am very pleased with the unit. Thanks to everyone at MobileHelp for being so understanding when a mistake is made.

I shopped carefully before I chose an alert system that would be the best for me in my circumstances. I am 79 years old, I walk with a walker, have very poor balance, and not much strength in my legs. I finally chose MobileHelp because of its comprehensive information and promise of fast response and wide area coverage. I have used the "button" just three times in the 28 months (or so) that I've had the service. I fell and couldn't get myself up, so I pushed the device and within 30 seconds, an operator was with me. I assured him that I was not hurt, just that I had fallen and needed help getting up. Five burly firemen were at my door within 7 minutes and I was on my feet in no time. Most people assume this device is for the patient, but in reality it's for the caregiver. My 95 year old calls in once a month to test his device, and keep his peace of mind. For me, in an emergency, and it's happened a new meet of a times, when my father has left his phone off the hook I've actually had central station contact him through the base station and let him know that his phone is off the hook and his son is trying to reach him. You can't get better service than that.
