WARNING CHECK THE RETURNS POLICY Arrived quickly, checked phone, all fine except I had an issue with Vodafone and needed to exchange for same phone, same value contract but different provider then discovered that you can’t return or exchange once you have opened the box. I haven’t incurred any cost,nothing. That’s not lawful so I’ve contacted them about it and 3 days in to the returns timescale I’m still waiting for a response....They’ve had time to send me this review though.....

Where should I start, it took almost a week to receive my order and I am still waiting for my sim however my DD has already been set up. The sales person ordered the wrong phone and I was like a ping pong ball between sales and customer services team. The agent I speak always apologised and said they will sort it but it took a very long week to sort it and like I say I am still waiting for my sim. I am still waiting for a manager to call me back after listening to the original conversation when the order was placed. No compensation given at all it has been an awful experience. The right hand doesn’t know what the left hand is doing they don’t look at notes at all and some agents didn’t even bother putting notes on the account even though they said they did. Taking down names of every agent I spoke to didn’t help either because they don’t know each other it’s between South Africa and the UK

These people requested 4 upfront payments from my bank, which showed as pending. After contacting them 5 times via phone which they cut me off in mid call. Their customer service department is hopeless,

The phone broke after two weeks and the returns policy and advice to go to carphone warehouse was flawed as they could not help me. I've been advised to return the phone via DPD collect (as I have done today) and only after it's received will a new phone be sent out after 5 days? I just think via vodafone,carphone warehouse and my.mobiles the service has been poor.

Hi Paul, We can understand how you must be feeling and appreciate the inconvenience that has been caused. As your phone has developed a fault within 30 days it is our responsibility to arrange an exchange for you; after 30 days your phone can be booked in for a repair in any Carphone Warehouse store. So received phone promptly and decided it wasn’t for me and sent it back on same day by Royal Mail who confirmed it was delivered the following morning and signed for. I called customer services 2 days later and was told that yes they had received the phone back and deposit would be in my bank within 5 working days. After the 5 days no money transferred back so called them again yesterday and this time was told that they hadn’t had any record of the phone being sent back or the previous call I made????? Was told that he would have to email warehouse and that would take 2 days so will email me when he had a reply......And to top it all they have taken the first payment of the contract 😩 Absolutely diabolical service,

Customer service is appalling, the whole return process is wrong, outdated especially when it comes to mobile phones . I will not be using you again. I rather go direct to a store or use Carphone Warehouse which I’m doing now . I’m sending you phone back to .

Delivered a scratched phone. Refused to send an advance replacement, but my number has already been ported and this would leave me without a phone. Was promised a call back from a supervisor that I am still waiting on.

Ordered phone via phone, they sent wrong colour, had to return it, still waiting for phone despite them taking £300. Spent hours on the phone trying to sort it, Waiting to hear from supervised but no one has rang as yet despite ensuring it would be within 48 hours. Poorest service I have ever had 😞

I only put 1 star is it would not put none as that is what I would have put. I ordered my phone online and got invoice sent to me, then next day more than the amount that I had agreed to come out of my bank and customer services were not very helpful it took over 8 hours of my time over 2 days to sort and now currently waiting 3 to 5 working days for my money back.

I was sent an S10 instead of S10plus. Had to spend money to print off returns label and buy a tamper proof bag to return. Still waiting to hear on my exchange. Very very disappointed. Would not recommend.

Still haven’t received my phone. I ordered it last Sunday and selected the delivery date to be the following Saturday as I work during the week. I then received a message the next day saying that my phone was going to be with me that afternoon. As I wasn’t in I was unable to accept the parcel so rescheduled the delivery date for the Saturday which was the delivery date I had originally asked for. I then received no further notifications about my phone until late yesterday afternoon saying it would be unable to be delivered due to an unexpected error in my area with no other explanation.

Purchased a refurbished phone contract. Phone is supposed to be as new. Unfortunately came with a passcode on it from previous owner. Really unhappy as had to do an exchange with has taken 5 days so far without a phone. Making things worse I’d already submitted my PAC code to new network. My old phone does not accept this network so I am now phone less. I have had an offer of a £5.80 refund to make up for the week without a phone. Still awaiting the new phone.... be careful.

I tried to contact customer services yesterday regarding activation and transfer of numbers. It took 45 minutes to get through and then was told I needed an upgrade and to return my new handset. Very unhelpful and despite the advice to stay on the line to provide feedback, the line was deliberately kept open by the customer services rep to prevent that happening as they knew I was g happy!

Hi Peter, We would like to apologise for the time it had taken you to reach our Customer Service Team, during busy periods it may take a little longer for the team to be with you. You have mentioned that you had been looking to arrange a transfer, if you are referring to a number port this can be arranged however the networks will not allow you to transfer your number from one contract to another; in this instance, you would need to select an upgrade. If you have found a new deal on a different network to the one that you are currently on, a number port can be arranged. All that you would need to do is obtain a PAC code from your current provider, this PAC code would then need to be given to your new provider.
