“Our experience with Opendoor was Great. From our rep. Chelsea Pineda to a gentleman named Andrew who helped us load our final pictures. Our rep. explained what was expected of us & walked us through the whole process. The lady at the Title Co. Cheryl Quaig was awesome. She kept us informed as to what she needed from us & where the escrow was. We are in poor health & Stress is the biggest enemy. We had none. Thank you for a wonderful experience. Bob & Jan”

“I was so not sure about OpenDoor and was only tried to get a quote. The video tour is very easy with nothing to prepare and to clean up. Then I got a fair to good offer after outside evaluation. Then I was again not sure about OpenDoor if the offer will stay and house condition will cost any issues for closing, especially I have to terminate my contract with tenant. But everything works out effortlessly and closed on time.”

“Sent them comps of same exact house, (custom built) by same builder a few streets down from us. That home sold for over $125k more than what they offered us, and when asking why, they replied “not sure”. That had a pool, but def not an adequate reason for the low ball offer, plus we have a 2k sq ft larger lot. We have 3 community pools in this upper end neighborhood. Not impressed, and as others have written, it’s a default “repairs” plus a 5% fee, so what’s the diff then selling via realtor agents? Won’t recommend them to anyone and quite shocked they have such a high rating.”

“I have nothing but high praise for Opendoor. Everything went as smooth as silk. Also, they were extremely generous with their offer. No Agent fees or nitpicking about repairs. My only suggestion to anyone that does business with them, is to have a copy of your survey handy. We signed the closing papers, finishing at 2PM on Tuesday, and the funds were in the account the first time I checked at 7PM. I wasn't even checking, I was taking cash out of my account, and it was already there. After 21+ years of marriage, with a 20 year old son at home, we took our time for the most part, and methodically emptied the house out, in order to turn it over broom clean. A mobile notary met us on the agreed upon close date, in order to make it as simple as possible. The majority of inspection and walk through is done by the owner with a cell phone. It doesn't get any better than this for a Seller. I Swear !!”

“Opendoor exceeded my expectations and then some with the sale of our home. Their initial offer was very fair and after the virtual walk-thru and exterior inspection, the revised offer reflected an increase in value and the repair deductions didn't exhibit any unreasonableness. It almost seemed to good to be true; I was waiting for the other shoe to drop, but it never did. My experience partner, Daniel was professional and upfront and Katie with the Title Co was very responsive. Thank you Opendoor for making our move from Sugar Land, TX to Henderson, NV seamless. I highly recommend Opendoor.”

“I was just just trying to get a good estimate when I reached out to OpenDoor. Then I got very quick response to set up and go through a virtual video tour. Two days after I got a very good offer. I had a tenant in this rental house and the house has some existing problems so I was not sure how to trust OpenDoor. At the end everything is just fine, so smooth, so fast.”

“Opendoor Reps are fast and efficient. They ask you the right questions so you can provide correct info and send reminders to keep you on track. They will help you use the online platform. Opendoor will go as fast or as slow as legally possible. They are fair with their offer and their fees. It was a great experience. I will definitely use their services again.”

“Buying or selling a home has always been an unpleasant experience for me over the years. It has always taken longer than I felt it should have, people have always tried to take advantage of me with unexpected charges, delays, extra demands throughout the process, and surprises at closing that were never mentioned prior. It has always felt as though the intent was to wear me down so that I was willing to agree to just about anything so the process would finally be over. I've even had to walk out of a closing once because of charges never disclosed before. Naturally, I was a bit skeptical of a company willing to make me an offer "as is" with none of the trouble of dressing up the property for curb appeal and showing the house to one person after another. Needless to say, my guard was up. The only reason I contacted OpenDoor to begin with was because a trusted friend recommended them. I was first surprised at how high the initial offer was for our house sight unseen. My assumption was that this would be just to trap me into the process and the offer would be whittled down to something much lower before everything was complete. Then a video walkthrough was performed and a visual inspection of the outside of the house a day or so later. To my surprise, the final offer was even higher than the initial one. Still, I was concerned because there was a disclaimer that there may be "unforeseen costs". I questioned my representative just what type of costs these could be. He assured me that, so long as there were no utilities or taxes in arrears, no problems with the title, and no undisclosed liens on the property, the offer should be pretty spot on. We went to the closing, still not convinced that we were not going to be taken advantage of after the trouble and expense of vacating the house, and to our delight, the only deduction from the final offer was a prorated amount for the property tax that would be due later in the year (our county collects property tax a year in arrears), something we fully expected and had been told about. Everything went exactly as they said it would, and when they said it would. The entire process took less than a month (and could have been as little as two weeks, but we wanted more time to vacate.) The cash for our house was wired to our bank account the following day. We couldn't be happier with OpenDoor and the people who represent them. If you are planning to sell your home, contact OpenDoor. Try someone else first if you like, but do NOT commit to anything without giving OpenDoor an opportunity. Maybe we would have received a little more for our house if we had spruced it up, put it on the market and endured the same trials we always have. Or maybe not. What I am certain of, if we HAD taken the traditional route, we would have earned every penny of it several times over. This sale was the most stress-free and simple real estate transaction we have ever experienced.”

“I ran across their name when browsing another real estate website. Looked them up, gave them my address for a free quote. Their quote came almost immediately and it looked OK. I established a dashboard with Opendoor for the sale. The buying process was laid out clearly, and a contract was included for my review and signature. I took about a week to investigate Opendoor. Before the due date for my acceptance, I received an updated and better offer from them, which I accepted. The entire process went just like Opendoor said it would, and took less than 5 weeks to closing. I chose the closing date. I never had any hassle from looky-lou visitors, no sign out front, no showings. My only contact with Opendoor was my Experience Partner, Paul Buonarobo, via phone, email, or text. He helped ease my doubts and was very easy to work with. Anyone thinking about selling their home should give them a look.”
