I paid £689 for my flight and I had no right to at least one luggage bag,outrageous. Will not use Opodo again

What a bunch of rogues AVOID at all costs they will be very quick to take your money when booking but if there is a problem ie the collapse of Flybe or any other problem you cannot get through on the phone, if you do you either get a vacant muppet on the end of the phone or they just hang up. DO Not Book With these muppets at any cost BE Warned

Avoid at all costs! Dealing with Opodo is not worth the stress. Should anything go wrong or should you need to contact them for any reason you will find this is an impossible task. PHONE: No one answers. I was on hold for an hour a few days ago and today I have been on hold for 30 minutes. Still no answer. The automated message mentioned this is due to the Coronavirus, but I have used them once before in the past and I can remember it being much the same. EMAIL: They don't have one. That's right. It's 2020 and this company doesn't have an email address. This tells you all you need to know. That they DON'T want to be contacted. FACEBOOK CHAT: I waited for almost an hour before finally get a response from an actual human. "Hi, Sam . My name is Ritwik. How may I help you today?" Finally, I thought. I messaged right back with the simple question I had regarding my flight: is my flight cancelled or not? He read my message and began responding. "Are you there?" Ritwik asked. Again, I messaged right back. "Yes, I'm here", I messaged. Again he read my message and began typing. "Sorry, Sam, I have not received any answer from you. Do you still need help?" I told him yes. He read my message and then Ritwik rit his final message. "I am really sorry Sam but I still haven't received any answer from you and I need to close this chat to assist other customers. We are committed to offering the best customer service, so please don´t hesitate to contact us again if you continue to need our assistance. Thank you!" This was a couple of days ago. Since then I have been unable to speak with a human despite spending a good amount of time trying - Opodo have since programmed the automated messenger to tell you that "Unfortunately, due to the extremely high volume of requests we are only dealing with flights departing within the next 5 days." Terrible customer service

The worst experience I had in my life, no one after they took your money the don't answer your phone calls or your messages on Facebook. due to coronavirus, my flight had cancel by the airline and when I try to contact them to see how we can manage the refunds they don't answer your calls or reply to your messeges.

I agre 500% with all those reviews written. I've spent 50 mins waiting for an operator only to get a zombie response. Even their website and their guarantee is ambiguous. BIG WARNING - they are Charlatans. AVOID AVOID AVOID111

Every thing went wrong. We are all struggling with the corona virus and instead of helping their clients, opodo make our life a hell. reaching out to them by chat takes between 4 to 24 hours if they answers, phone calls wont work. after reaching out in chat they can never help and give the wrong information. will never recommend and will never buy through them again.

AVOID- FRAUD After one hour of holiding to get thru to an agent the agent took the details and just disconnected the call. I have had a death in the family and need to use my insurance bought thru opodo to cancel the flight. I would never recommend them or use them ever again

Buyer BEWARE : I bought Ryan flights through Opodo website (150e) later disovered a ***32 Euro*** "Opodo booking fee" on my credit-card for this privilege. SIMPLE LESSON LEARNT : If you use Opodo to search/compate flights, ALWAYS mage sure to go direct to Airline website for booking - not via Opodo.

I paid over £400 for 3 tickets from Exeter to Jersey by debit card for June flights and the next day Flybe went into administration. I paid Opodo using PayPal, they said speak to PayPal. PayPal said to speak to my bank Nationwide. Nationwide said to speak to Pay pal. All these organisations refuse to accept any responsibility to their customer, me. They are all a disgrace.

This is a terrible company. My flights out were cancelled due to a storm. But, as confirmed to me by their operator, I would receive a fully refund as I took out the additional insurance. I contacted them the next day and asked for email confirmation, which was provided, including the exact amount and a timescale of 7-would days. After 14 days I chased and was told my case had been escalated and I would receive a call within 24 hours. Two days later I chased again, and was told, again my case had been escalated and I would be contacted within 24 hours. The next time I chased I was told that my insurance backed refund was delayed as the hotel had not refunded Opodo.... not my problem that’s why I paid for the insurance. I was also told that the team it had been escalated to were unlikely to call me. They the. Offered to escalate to the head office in Spain and I would definitely hear with 72 hours... guess what nothing. Their approach seems to be to keep fobbing you off in the hope that you will allow them to keep your money. As it stands I have lost circa £1000. Do not use this company unless you are happy to risk losing all your money and not have a holiday.

Opodo withdraw funds out of my v/c without my approval ( Fraud) They communicated to me once I got through to them which took 4 hours wait on the phone there system had a glitch and they have IT working on system to correct If you knew that, why didnt I receive email or a call communicating this mishap Under the circumstances , which it was your system that illegally processed and withdraw funds from my account without my approval . Your policy is VOID, illegal transaction was completed without my consent. Waiting for the money to be returned to me in full I will forward my complaint to the Legal Department and Fraud Police Department in your Country and start a inquire into internet fraud

For me It was impossible to cancel flight booking in Opodo application, even some weeks before flight! Robot in app says that it can't cancel flight and proposes to chat with alive operator, but queue lasts for some hours. And in case than I call to the Opodo office, it is impossible to reach the operator - line always is busy.

Appalling customer service. I booked Flybe flights with them and Flybe have gone into administration. You'd think they would have some clear messaging about this for their customers... No-one answers the chat service - I've spent 4 hours on it, and just get bounced off after an hour and have to start again. I called, waited 56 mins listening to music, got a human and he didn't speak to me and then put me onto an automated Satisfaction Survey! I was going to ask them to help me with changing the flights to another company but now I just want a refund and to have nothing to do with Opodo ever again!

I had booked my flight though Opodo and then Flybe went into liquidation and I phoned OPOdo several times and once holding the line for over 50 minutes when an operator said she would put me onto other team for refund and then was cut off Just silence . They are giving all silly excuses and telling me to contact Flybe for refund when they know that its gone into administration. I also had paid £36 cancellation fees to Opodo so not good company to book with . Opodo has no intention of paying me back for the Fly be flight. difficult to get refunds and poor customer service. Call centre in India ! Asked whether it was Atol protected and she would not answer . Talked rubbish about Fly be will refund !

Opodo's customer service is terrible. Looks like many others agree. I've been chasing a refund for a flight I cancelled on 31st Jan and the refund still hasn't come through. I have spent over 1 hour trying to get through to their UK customer service department on the phone. I got through a couple of times. The first time, I waited for 20 mins listening to hold music and the the hold music stopped and there was no sound for 3 mins so I had to hang up. The most recent time, I got through to someone and they said they were putting me through to someone else. After being put on hold for some time, again I then heard silence for sometime and had to hang up. I then called back straightaway and got a recorded message saying the UK department was closed!!! Utterly terrible.

Awful company. Left me stranded... Didn't even book my flight for me. Blamed it on a 'glitch' don't ever book with these.
