I still haven't received my refund for the flight which was cancelled by Jet Airways and it's more than 25 days now. I had booked return flight for Jet airways with Opodo, Ref numbers are: 4168606935, 4168625688. Jet Airways cancelled the flights and on 20th March I had asked Opodo to provide the Refund for the same and they mentioned it will take 20 days to get the Refund back. On following up again on 15th Apr, their customer care said it will take 2-3 days more as it's pending with Finance team. Again called on 17th April and asked for the status, the person said it will now take 90 days. Each time I got different responses from the trainees, as their Lead / Manager never attend any phone calls even if the matter is escalated to this level. Plus they have asked me my bank details on email, whereas on their website and auto calls its clearly mentioned that refund will be given to the same bank account from where the payment has been made then why you guys are asking me to provide bank details again? Don't you have a database with you? Pathetic service. Never book ticket from Opodo. I have seen other reviews also here and feel like I have made a big mistake. The refund amount for me is also not a small amount. I really hope someone from the Opodo team check this review and help me with my money.

Although your booking website is now much improved, the short time allowed to pick return flights, fill in all boxes, add on extras and check card payment information is quite ridiculous. By the time I'd gone through all processes and just about informed that booking was going through, your site cut out. No time to check and print details or be sure payment had gone through. As you seem not to be contactable by phone I had to call BA directly at considerable cost to find out. I have used you're service for many years and although the experience with your old site was not always without stress this was the last straw. I won't be using you again unless you do something about the time factor.

They sent an email saying they were processing my booking and it would be confirmed soon. 7 hrs later the flight has now left and the status is unchanged. The carrier confirmed they did not receive the booking but there seems to be no way to contact Opodo to recover the money they’ve charged for the flight. Chat bot is completely useless and no human to help. Hoping my credit card company can help.

Worst customer service experience i have ever dealt with. Do not ever use them. I was trying to get them to explain why the cost on the receipt was different to the bank statement, he couldn't answer me and kept saying that i would receive an invoice through to the value on the receipt. I said this will still conflict with the different cost on the bank statement, he then put me on hold and said that he would put me through to his supervisor, i was on hold over 20 minutes and decided to hang up and try again. Got through to someone else, who was telling me the same thing and couldn't answer any of my questions, he just kept saying i would receive an invoice in 24hrs, i then asked if i could speak to their accounts department and he just kept repeating you will receive an invoice in 24hrs. Awful, appalling and very rude.

Terrible customer service, they don't care about you. Don't expect any service whatsoever. I called 5 times on 5 consecutive days to rebook my ticket, and they couldn't get it done. I had to leave holiday earlier because they were unable to rebook my ticket due to unavailability of tickets; a problem in their software apparently!! One day prior to leaving suddenly someone noticed my 1 star review on TrustPilot, and suddenly a guy called Ross started offering options. All of these options very expensive tickets that were no way close to my Flexible Ticket rate. A bunch of crooks that don't understand how to treat a customer at all. I tried to talk to them, but now I am done trying to help. Stay away from this lousy business.

Worst customer service ever. Booked flights to Sri Lanka and then onto India with the airline JetAirways. JetAirways have changed all flight times (which no longer fit in with my schedule) and cancelled my two flights home with no alternatives offered - leaving me stranded. I have tried contacting JetAirways on 5 occasions by phone, 3 emails and 2 Facebook messages - have had no replies. Opodo refuse to offer me an alternative flight or refund, despite paying for particular flights and now most have been cancelled! Customer services are not helpful at all, promise call backs and refunds which never turn up. Will be claiming money back from Small Claims plus all expenses incurred with having to find a new flight with such short notice. Avoid at all costs.

Horrific customer service - DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - They called us saying there was an issue with our flight and it was moved to the following day (no problem) BUT they didn't change our connecting flight leaving us in Atlanta for 28 hours instead of 4. Called their customer service 5 times to get them to correct this error and all they said was they would get back to us in 24-48 hours and then never did.

Although we tried to cancel ticket because of worsening of my partners cancer, the insurance refused to reimburse us. Meanwhile the airline company has cancelled our flight back and cancelled our hotel, but still they don't reimburse us or even answer properly

A terrible customer experience. I would recommend you to avoid this company and buy flights directly from the airline. Opodo is not familiar with airline policies but they accept payments for seat reservations and all kinds of extras. When airlines later enforce their rules, Opodo says they are not responsible for airline rules and will not refund any payments they incorrectly accepted or charged for. It's virtually impossible to get through to their customer service centre and when you do, you will be passed from pillar to post. They do not care about their customers once they sold the ticket. If everything goes smoothly, it's probably ok but it will turn into a nightmare if anything goes wrong. Nobody will take any ownership for anything and you will be left on your own to deal with any issues.

Booked return flights for me and my kids for Easter. They overcharged me by £1206.99. When they could not get that out of my account they took the funds for the outward flights and cancelled the return. No communication from them. Been calling for 2 weeks and not resolved. DO NOT USE THEM!!!

I booked return ticket with Opodo from London to Vilnius, flighing on 12/03 and returning on 14/03. Checked the dates 3 times (as I always do) and clicked thr “pay” button. Couple of minutes later received the confirmation from Opodo with return date on 04/04. Their customer service must be receiving complaints about the wrong flight dates all the time because when I called them they said (of course) it was my fault, I must have selected the wrong dates, yet offered refund straight away. Reading google reviews later I realised how extremely lucky I was. Other travellers who had the same issues with Opodo only realised that they had the wrong dates in Opodo confirmation email when they tried to check in. By that time it was too late and Opodo would refuse any refund. Don’t think I will ever try my luck with Opodo again!

I booked flights frim Glasgow to Belfast for 19th April, two of us checked dates and paid. Got confirmation email stating date as 23rd March. Contacted Opodo immediately, was told “nothing we can do”. Contacted Flybe and cost an extra 109.00 to change date. Shocking service considering error was in their booking system. I will never use Opodo ir Flybe again. Stay well away.

Absolutely appalling service. I would not recommend Opodo, I have had nothing but problems with them.... After seeing their 'best price guarantee' on their website, I made a booking and submitted a claim form the same day and received an automated acknowledgement email. After following this up on a weekly basis, I keep being promised that I will receive a response within 24-48 hours, but it has been 5 weeks of empty promises now. Having spent hours and hours on the phone chasing this up, I have now completed a charge-back via my credit card company as I am not getting anywhere with contacting Opodo directly. I should have just booked with their competitor in the first place as the price was cheaper and it would have saved me the stress, frustration and hours of time spent chasing this up. AVOID AVOID AVOID!

Booked return flights BHX>ORK & ORK>BHX, with cancellation insurance. Opodo couldnt confirm return flight, told to wait 24hrs, they confirmed 1part of journey later than evening but not the 2nd part of the journey, the return. Opodo emailed could not book my return, so I asked to Cancel but told no refund as they confirmed 1st part. #Shocking - So they are happy to take my money for the outbound and leave me in Cork - no return journey possible - when asked about cancellation insurance they said read your terms and conditions - Customer service extremely poor!!!!

I will never book via Opodo again. Their Customer Service is non-existent. We had booked flights in October from MAN to COL. We discovered randomly via the British Airways website that 2 of our original flights had been cancelled on 14th January. We had received no information from Opodo. We tried to call Opodo to clarify. We had to go through the Robot, to an emailing human before being told that our issue required a phone-calling human(!) who did indeed confirm that our flights were cancelled and we were now without flights! We asked what the alternatives were and why we had not been notified. They suggested that we should have heard from the airlines direct .... rubbish. Opodo took our money, so they have responsibility to keep us informed of changes. We requested to be booked onto alternative flights and they told us their system was down and they would call us back within 24hrs. We didn't trust Opodo to do this, so we spoke to the Airlines direct and they confirmed the changes had to be made via Opodo and that Opodo should have contacted us directly to advise of cancellations. We are now re-booked, however had we not discovered the cancellation, I believe we would have turned up at the airport to find no flights. I strongly advise you to use an alternative agent. PS This my first ever review!

This is the WORST company I have ever dealt with. Am now going to have to take legal action. They will not give me my refund even though flights cancelled. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY. They are impossible to get in touch with and extremely unhelpful

In process of booking flight to Liverpool. Opodo pop up directed flight to Manchester. No itenery, so completed payment. Conned into wrong airport.Total cost £150. Unable to get refund as airline not except cancellation.

This has to be the worst travel booking company on planet earth. I don't know how this company gets more than one star. They are the worst booking site ever. I was terribly ill, and they refused to re-book my flight, even after I offered to pay any commission or top up. The insurance they sold me for cancellation is also as bad as Opodo. they way they talk to you is heartless. No airline should allow this company to book their flights. Avoid Opodo at all cost.
