My current experience with Opodo is disastrous. I booked flights with Opodo in March this year and still haven’t received the refund (28/11/2020) even though Opodo, after hiding behind the airline, received the money on the 6th of October. They lied to me several times over the phone, mentioning the money wasn’t with them when they previously told me it was or that it would take 14 days for me to see it in my bank account. After telling me it would take up to 14 days I waited and when I called again (not seeing the money on my bank account) I got told I misunderstood as it takes 120 days for Opodo to pay me back. Bad luck or incompetent services, Opodo had sent me emails saying “be assured that once we do receive the money from the airlines, we will immediately transfer it back to the same payment method used in the original booking, and it will appear on your statement within 2 weeks of us having received the money from the airline”. On the 17th of November I am told by an agent (Rishy Erakash) at 4:39pm U.K. time that I will receive my money within 10 days. This morning (11 days later) I called and get told (Alberto Balderrama) there was an error with my payment and that it is with their finance department and that nothing can be done from their end? I therefore asked to speak with a manager and get told there is a 2-hour wait and that I should call back later and send a complaint via opodo website??? Like Opodo are not aware of this whole situation? After all the calls I made? This is not acceptable and certainly not legal. I travel a lot for work and personal and will definitely stop using companies like Opodo in the future. A tip to people who may struggle to find their phone number: 08712777723. If it is for a refund don’t select refund as the reason for your call but keep selecting “other” until you can speak with an agent. Once again they make it difficult for people to get in touch. Is this a coincidence?

Opodo don't deserve any star ⭐️ it deserved 👎🏻 to prevent other people to be victim of Opodo...pls I warned you people never give Opodo a chance to scam you...it was a nightmare experienced. Hidden terms and conditions. Deducted the payment straight away worst more than the price of original advert. No customer service or support.

WARNING!!! Avoid Opodo like the plague. We are regretting it and so will you. Not even sure how they’re still trading and why their owner/manager is not in court (probably is actually). Their customer services is non-existent. Being redirected or perpetually bounced from website to app to chat to phone and back again will drive anyone crazy. Their “deals” are a honey trap. You’ll end up in a labyrinth of disappointment, dismay and dead-ends. And then after destroying your travel plans they’ll add insult to injury with the incessant marketing emails reminding you how you were lured in in the first place. You’ve been warned. Minimum 120 days to wait for a refund for their mistakes and shortcomings. This is not a travel agent but rather and inconvenience agent.

Opodo advertised a price through sky scanner, when I went to pay for the tickets the price increased £20 after I had put my bank details in. Because that was a significant rise I paused but the site automatically went to the next page and paid the higher price without me clicking anything. I tried to complain via email in February, I then called and was patronized by the call centre employee, I opened a case on Resolver then the case was closed because Opodo took so long to respond. Today I got an email from Opodo telling me that there was no problem, despite there obviously being one. The cherry on top is that the flights were with Flybe who went bust and I'm due a refund for the flights. Because of Opodo's incredibly slow customer service I have missed the 120 days to claim from my bank as they asked me to go to Opodo first.

Worse agent ever! We have been trying to use our canceled fliggts credit for days now.. been on the phones for DAYS and still no outcome. It shouldn't be so hard to use ur own credit just keep getting transfered and everyone tells you something different. In the mean time the initial flight has doubled its price. NEVER USE OPODO STAY AWAY

Here I'm in Heathrow Airport opodo after I buy two adults send TAP a ticket I was a child. I have to buy another ticket for 300 in TAP cause the call center just hang up on mi face refusing to fix the problem This company is scam don't buy tickets. unacceptable beauvoir.

Opodo is a scam. very sad. they took my $1900 . Immeditely the payment went through I was informed 1 of the flight was canceled. I searched for another flight date, got a cheaper flight, and called them. I was made to pay more even as the previous flight was more expensive. I paid, and the guy (Ashis) promised I will receive another ticket in 24 hours. Days passed with no sign. I called them, and they will say 24 hours I will receive a call. no call or email ever came through. I could not travel now. They dribbled me back and forth. I know all they have done is intentional. I don't know how to get my money back.

Do not ever ever use opodo!!! They spelled my last name wrong by one letter and was not able to speak to a live person in UK!!! I paid the extra to cancel if needed!!! I tried several times to reach someone no luck and then got charge a fee for holding on line to UK😡.... Long story short I had to buy another ticket thur delta directly in order to get to where in needed to go!! I can canceled the ticket and opodo sends me a message that its processing but may take 3-6 months due to damn covid! Finally after a month ingot to chat with someone on FB and they are saying because I canceled the ticket its nonrefundable and wont give me my 195.50 back i am livid and its a scam to get people to buy into their BS!!!NEVER EVER USE THEM!!!!

Please do not use this company, if you need to cancel you will NOT be refunded, robbers, makes no difference even if you take out "Cancel for any reason insurance" Will never use again!!!

The worst. They charge me for their stupid Opodo Prime without me registering for it. They have failed to also refund my money for a cancelled flight. These guys are the worst.

Bought a ticket for june 23 from Paris to ktm and return ticket cancelled on 30 May because of covid yet not got any refund, any news nor email nor message or call the customer care asks to wait more weeks but nothing happens such a team slowest irresponsible and worthless. Highly recommend don't use this site or web even they provide you in free

Re: 4633135068...see my review on TrustPilot - Opodo are a terrible firm, 174 days waiting for refund. Useless emails saying please wait, pending status continually, very difficult to contact. In the end an accidental call to Amex brought this case to light and Amex say they'll persue it for me. Thank you American Express :)

my flights to Australia have been cancelled by Etihad. Opodo have offered me a voucher or to rebook . I contacted Etihad and they said I was entitled to a full cash refund. I cannot contact Opodo as the phone number has been changed. emails are not answered !! this has been ongoing for months. DO NOT BOOK WITH OPODO thy are just con artists.

BSOLUTE SCAM This is the worst travel organisation I’ve ever experienced. I bought a ticket on Opodo, paid for it (have the receipt) but never received my ticket as the confirmation email said I needed to check in on the airport. When I was at the airport to check in, my Opodo booking wasn’t recognized and they didn’t let me on the plane. They said this happens a lot with this organisation. So I had to buy a last minute ticket from Transavia for a ridiculous amount and it made me almost miss my flight. The same thing happened on the way back. I tried to reach them many times but they don’t have proper customer service: you cannot reach them by phone and they don’t even have an email address. They only have some sort of ridiculous robot chat box that doesn’t understand a word you say. I requested a refund through this “robot” and then months later I received an email saying I don’t get a refund because apparently my plane left and I wasn’t on it. It was a no-reply email address with no alternative email address or contact details so I haven’t been able to tell them that I WAS ON THE PLANE but not in my original seat because their stupid organisation screwed up by not confirming the booking so I had to buy a new ticket to get a new seat. I still haven’t been able to reach them since. This joke cost me a lot of money and didn’t give me anything other than stress. I've been waiting 175 days for a refund and I'm still waiting. Contacting customer services is a nightmare, they can't/won't do anything to assist further and I've been lied to numerous times in regards to my refund status. I would recommend that you never use Opodo and book direct with the airline, because if something goes wrong they're a nightmare to deal with and you're left stuck in the middle
