“I have previously been a ‘self builder’ of desktop PC’s although my last build was 10 years ago. I decided that time was due to update to current technology and Windows 11 so, based on reviews, I decided to go with PC Specialist – this looks to be a good decision. I found the web site and configuration options quite easy to follow and over a couple of weeks put together a specification suited to my needs – I am quite a demanding user. The actual ordering process was simple and with excellent communication back from PCS updating me on progress. When delivered my new PC was very well packaged and set up was straight forward. Eighteen days from order to delivery. Having had a good look around ‘inside’ it has clearly been assembled by a competent and experienced system builder with all cable management etc. very tidy. So well done PC Specialist – all I need to do now is learn Windows 11!”

“I've used PC Specialist for several years now. My latest build has an AMD 7800X3D, RTX 4090 and 32gb ram. The ordering process was easy as always and if anything was not compatible they let me know straight away. There was a backlog of orders for the CPU which is to be expected as it has just launched at this time of writing so a bit of a wait before work could begin. The communication has always been good for me and updates were provided every few days right up until it was delivered. The PC itself was well packed and the components were well protected. Only issue I had was one of the small feet at the base of the fractal case was busted during transit, nothing major but these things can happen. The build itself is of good quality so all in all its been a good experience.”

“The computer came on time and has been working like a dream. The whole consumer process has been painless. The only thing I would say is that it would have been appreciated if they had been proactive and contacted me about the AMD AM5/ASUS BIOS issue relating to 7000 series X3D/EXPO issues that came to light just before my computer was dispatched. If I hadn't been a viewer of tech videos I wouldn't have been aware that I needed to update BIOS and not use EXPO until issue fully resolved - and could of ended up with a burnt out/damaged components. If there was an issue I'm sure PCS would have assisted me but would be best communicated to avoid issue in first place.”

“Have ordered two PCs from PC Specialist and both times have been an excellent experience. Lots of freedom when customising your PC, and lots of support, guidance and advice available from both PC Specialist staff and their own forum. With my second PC they gave valuable advice which helped me choose the most relevant PC to suit my needs. Upgradability is very easy, you can simply upgrade a previous order and still receive support, and the technical support after purchase is excellent. They happily help with any problems. Would thoroughly recommend PC Specialist, excellent company.”

“All in all, the experience was good. PC has come and I'm writing this review on it now - it's very fast and works very well and am overall quite happy with the build quality and the PC itself. The time it took to receive the PC from the time I ordered was quite a while and it's why I'm taking off a star - if certain parts had been more efficient, it wouldn't have fallen on the bank holidays and then added further delays. I don't like the 'give a really really long estimation date so any quicker than that seems to be a bonus'. I also had to email asking for drivers (to keep a back-up of the drivers) and the bonus gift with my purchase as neither of these had been sent or added automatically to my account despite there being a Downloads section on my order. When you're spending that much on a PC, you expect a bit more attention to detail. I probably would order from them again as the experience was good, there were just a few parts where I'd have expected better.”

“This is my second laptop, again chose PC Specialist because of the ability to configure the spec. The build quality is good and comms received when certain components weren't in stock was good. Delivery was quick once PC was built and tested.”

“Really happy with my PC, especially how whisper quiet it is! Great build quality, good customer service and great selection of components. I was notified immediately when a part I'd selected was unfortunately not available. The only thing that could have been better is that it would have been nice if the amendment fee had been waived when I had to change my order due to my selected SSD being unavailable but still selectable as an option on the website”

“I wanted a gaming laptop that would play games on the highest settings, this was accomplished at a very competitive price. manufacture and delivery was prompt and I was kept informed every step of the way. I thoroughly recommend PC specialist.”

“We, as a company of around 40, have used PC Specilaist on a number of occasions and have now set up a business account with them. They will always respond to emails within 24 hours and their sales help on chat on the phones are excellent. They resolved problems including a broken case glass within 72 hours. The machines are excellently quality. We are on with a rolling programme for both Desktops and Laptops and will be using PC Specilaist for the forseeable future.”

“Been buying custom made PC;s from these guys for nearly 18 years or so. Well made and and good quality and so far none of the 4 previous builds ever broke down. last PC still runs everything pretty good. Only upgraded as i was lucky with a payout and felt like treating myself. Very pleased with service and will use again when the time comes.”
