“Purchasing from PCspecilaist was extemely simple, even though i requested a slight modification to the option advertised. Emailed PC specialist, a quote was issued to the specification requested, the order was placed on the quote and they then kept me updated at every stage of the order right through to delivery”

“It was worth the waiting time. PCS kept me updated with every step of progress of my order and delivery. The PC was well packed and arrived at the time slot agreed. One of the legs was broken on arrival but it only took one quick call and they sent me a replacement. The PC was built to specifications as far as my non pro eyes can tell and absolutely adore the white PCS tower.”

“This is my second purchase from PCS, the first a laptop, this a replacement PC for an old ailing machine. What I like about PCS is the customization that you can apply, this is the PC that I want, not something that is picked up off the shelf that compromises my requirements. The web site is easy to use and the process is fairly simple. Order placed and delivered within 3 weeks, longest time was in pre-production 14 days with no apparent activity, other than that the machine appears well built and is everything that I wanted. Worth the 5 star rating.”

“I'm 5-star happy with my laptop! The online ordering to select the components I require was a breeze & exciting - having previously had to compromise with off-the-shelf, budget laptops, lacking DVD drives, etc. The build, layout and improvements I was able to choose are great. The delivery time was within the expected / predicted time frame. There are a couple of things I would hope to have in future computers: 'Caps lock' & 'Num lock' keys with a light to indicate that they are on. Better speakers (My hearing has recently deteriorated & the speaker/s on my old off-the-shelf laptop were better) That said, I did have pretty much the basic 17.3" laptop with extra RAM. So yes, I will definitely be ordering from PC Specialist again.”

“PC appears to be well made and runs well, I don't know much about PCs and this was bought on behalf of my son and my only gripe is a 2GB graphics card has no place in a modern gaming PC from what I read online and from current game specifications games need to run. Maybe it's my fault for not reading up before I purchased or maybe a 2GB graphic can't shouldn't be in a PC titled a gaming PC.”

“Having used PC Specialist multiple times I used to think this was a professional company. However, since the failure of a RAM stick in a laptop manufactured by PCS (2 years ago) my opinion is now at the opposite end of the spectrum. The initial reject went ok. Returned the part and a new part was sent out. From here it goes downhill... The replacement RAM stick arrives, in 2 standard bubble wrap bags. For anyone who knows the risk of electrostatic on electronics this is an absolute no-no! Against my better judgement I decide to fit the part. Only to then find PCS have sent me the wrong part. What should have been 16GB was in fact 8GB. On reporting the issue along with my concerns regarding potential static damage and the unsuitable packing. My complaint is met with the response that RAM sticks are not affected by ESD events. Utter rubbish (based on my personal experience of 25 years working in the electronics manufacturing industry)!! Not to mention a complete lack of apologising for the inconvenience of being sent the wrong part. A further replacement part was sent out via courier to deliver the correct part and collect the incorrect one. My partner is met with a delivery where she is handed a RAM stick with no packing at all!!! Throughout all of this I have been requesting for my complaint to be escalated. Twice, so far this request has been refused. In short, while everything is fine this company appears good. However when things go wrong they show their true colours. A complete lack of customer service. Not to mention a complete apparent lack of understanding of the risk of static and how to ship static sensitive assemblies safely. I now wonder under what conditions all of the PCs, laptops etc are assembled and what longevity they really have. Safe to say no longer will I be using PCS, nor can I possibly recommend them to others.”

“Very happy with the buying process, but so many options to choose from it can be daunting. However, I have no complaints because it allows you to choose exactly what you want and it's worth spending the time to get it right. My order arrived in around 3 weeks which was fine for me, well packaged and the couriers kept me properly informed (DPD). The system is great, and I'm very happy with everything about it. (Can't say the same about Windows 11...., I wish I'd ordered it with Windows 10 instead, but hey-ho...)”
