Reimbursement at 80% is good however your underwriters leave a lot to be desired. We have had this insurance for 15 years and have found recently that the underwriters do not seem to pay attention to what our vet lists as a reason for a visit. Twice they have listed a condition for which our pet was not seen for and once this resulted in no reimbursement. We had to file an appeal and wait for that process. We have also had the problem of late reimbursements due to "high claim volume". Perhaps you need more staff? If we ever get another pet we will look at different pet insurance.

I'm very disappointed to find out that I will not be getting my payment back from Pets Best for my puppy Veterinarian Appt for Wells Care...you guys claim that she's not covered for the visit...I paid an extra money for Wells Care so that my puppy can be covered just to find out that she's not...I feel if I'm going to be paying you well over $140 that all appt for my puppy care should be reimbursed if I pay out of pocket for the appt. I will see on my next Veterinarian appt for my puppy will be covered, if not covered I most likely will cancel this insurance for it will not be worth having if I'm the one who is paying for her appts and not being reimbursed...

it just too expensive and the premium is to high so unless you get more than one claim you get very little of your cash back and for how much im paying out every month it kinda sucks

Everything looks good on paper, however, when we turned in a claim, it took almost two weeks to process. Still haven't seen the money yet. All docs were sent in with claim. Shopping around now for a better company.

I've been paying the premiums for years with no claims. They've tried to raise my premiums from time to time, so I just kept lowering my coverages. Then, the first time I submitted a claim, my premium instantly went up 50%. Considering the thousands I've paid in the past with no claims, I'm really displeased with this company.

I find it unsatisfying to know that I’m paying $50 a month to only have a portion of my pet’s routine vaccinations covered. I’m paying more a month on insurance than I’m paying for in a vet bill. The vaccination breakdown on your website is basically false advertisement. I’m only keeping the insurance for Incase god forbid something serious was to happen to my dog.

The last two times that I have filed a claim, it has taken forever to get re- embursed any money. They said that they were waiting on info from vet when in fact they had it. I had to call my vet and add them on to get straight. Last time, they at first said the same thing, then decided that they did not need any more info. They had it all. ( X-rays, diagnosis) It took a month to get money back and we filed the claims on- line. Considering dropping them. Of course now we have met the deductible so would be shooting myself in the foot to do so. Very disappointed.

Does not cover most treatments. . Everything seems to be a preexisting condition. They even deduct Vet's charges for syringes, disposal, etc. Way more expensive than my ins. on other pet. Only used this co. because of rec. by a veteran magazine.

Pay too much for the monthly premium and not enough in return for claims.

I pay $50 a month on pet insurance and still pay a lot in out of pocket expenses. For example, got my cat vaccinated and spent $180 only to be reimbursed for only $55, but if I went and got him vaccinated at Petco, even without PetsBest, I would have spent a lot less money even with the reimbursement.

Not thrilled with this company. They take weeks to pay out, and it’s always less then you think it will be. I have two bulldogs and pay almost $200 a month in insurance, but they dodge every claim and never seem to be able to make a payment for some reason or another. It might be better to just put the $200 I spend in insurance and put it into a savings account for my pups.

It was not until filing the second claim for puppy vaccinations that it was mentioned there is a cap on vaccinations yearly. Why should someone get a wellness plan for a puppy if the required vaccinations are not even covered in full, and why wasn't this information made clear in advance????
